I participated in the third phase of the township party committee secretary training class organized by the Party School of the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee. I deeply understand that, in the new century, if we want to comprehensively promote the great cause of modernization with socialism with Chinese characteristics, we must conscientiously study Deng Xiaoping Theory, profoundly understand the important thinking of the "Three Represents", and fully understand the current situation at home and abroad. . As a grassroots party member in the grassroots government as the main leadership position, we must be steadfast and persevering in the ideological and action, in accordance with the requirements of the "three represents," strengthen party spirit, bear in mind the party's purpose, and bring it well. Head, do your job well. Fundamentally change the ideological style and lead the people to take the road of enriching the people and strengthening the town.

Through systematic theoretical study and practical investigation in the past, we should review our own work history, and there should be many shortcomings in terms of study, work style, democratic centralism, criticism and self-criticism, and building a clean government. In order to continuously enrich and improve oneself, strengthen the understanding of Deng Xiaoping Theory and the important thinking of the "Three Represents", and do a good job in doing the job in connection with the actual situation, and now self-analysis of the shortcomings of its own existence.

First, learn self-satisfaction, not seeking depth of study.

First, political studies sometimes do not participate. The main reason is that work is busy and there is no time. I thought in my heart that political study is boring. Anyway, I read news and newspapers every day. Why should I sit there and learn, let the deputy secretary organize it? I just want to be consistent with the Party Central Committee and learn not to learn.

The second is to meet the current level of knowledge. Since I joined the government in 1988, in order to adapt to the work of the grassroots government, I have worked hard to learn some knowledge and practical skills, mastered the basic routine of government work, and have worked for more than ten years, and I feel good about myself. The work is handy and I don’t think it’s enough to learn too much. However, as China's reforms continue to deepen, the world has entered the information age. At present, it is felt that the knowledge of the original learning is far from adapting to the needs of today's society. However, when you are not studying for correspondence, you only have to go through it, do not seek depth of study, and study. The lack of the above, so that their comprehensive quality is still at the general level, there is no big breakthrough in the work, step by step.

Second, the working methods are not live, and the democratic principles are not strong.

First, the working methods are not live and the ability to respond is weak. In the position of my leadership, there are many things to do, and I can’t touch the analogy and make a difference. For example, the old method of grasping the style of the organs is not obvious; in the personnel system, according to the old frame, there is no vitality in personnel competition, and the cadres do a good job; in the work of attracting investment, it cannot be adapted to local conditions. According to a set of plans in the county, there is no big breakthrough in the effect of investment, and the growth of fiscal revenue is slow.

Second, the implementation of democratic principles is not very good. Most of the things are still concentrated first, then democratic, framed, demarcated, and it is not easy to play democracy. The task is not to negotiate, and when it is done, it is impossible to deduct wages, bonuses, and listen to good, wrong opinions. After listening to the harshness, sometimes I couldn’t hear the truth, and there were a few mistakes in the decision.

Third, serving the people, the clean and honest government is not up to standard.

Serving the people wholeheartedly is the purpose of our party and it should be done by every member of the Communist Party. When I am working in peacetime, I am not enough as the main leader of the grassroots party committee. I don’t often go to the countryside. Most of the time I listen to the report. Most of the time I spend on socializing. Basically, except for the meeting, I am entertained, and there is very little time. When investigating and studying in the countryside, visiting the poor and asking for hardships, the following incidents of agricultural damage can sometimes not be known and investigated in time, which greatly affects the party’s prestige and appeal in the countryside. In the adjustment of agricultural structure, farmers increase their income, we lack ideas and insufficient services. In the construction of a clean government, during the holidays, sometimes some units of souvenirs and tobacco and alcohol are collected.
The above reasons are caused by the fact that one is wrong in thinking and understanding, the other is to forget the true nature of the Communist Party, the third is to break away from the people, the fourth is to forget the fine traditions of the party, the fifth is to implement honesty and self-discipline, and the sixth is not enough.

In contrast to General Secretary Jiang’s important thinking of the "three represents," his own inadequacy has become apparent. How to improve my own quality, as a leader of the township party committee, I think we must work hard from the following aspects.

The first is to strengthen learning. First of all, we must continue to study Deng Xiaoping Theory and the spirit of the 15th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, firmly grasp the basic views, theoretical systems and ideological essence of Deng Xiaoping Theory, and consolidate the theoretical foundation. Efforts to improve the ability to analyze and solve problems, make themselves more mature in politics, do not waver at key moments, and do not be confused in front of major events. It is necessary to improve the level of knowledge through learning. Learning should pay attention to the combination of virtual and real, learning is retreat, and work is pragmatic. Retreat to seek truth and seek truth from facts. In actual work, we should do our utmost to do things in a virtual way.

Second, the positioning must be accurate. In the specific work, we must thoroughly understand the spirit of the higher level, combine the actual situation, analyze the internal and external factors, come up with the town's action plan, think from the worst, work hard at the best, and carry out the work of my town. It has its own characteristics and conforms to the above spirit. It transforms the work objectives of its superiors into its own work responsibilities, and carries out its work in a pioneering manner, and satisfactorily completes the tasks assigned by superiors. In terms of democratic construction, we strictly follow the requirements, manage people and things in accordance with the system, do pre-existing ventilation, collectively study and decide on major events, reject individual decisions, and fully promote democracy. For the subordinates' work deployment, seek truth from facts, grasp the first level, strictly evaluate the system, fully mobilize the subordinate's subjective initiative, encourage more, praise more, and less criticism. Try to take a few individual talks, be tolerant and generous to people, not to blame, not to be partial, to seek common ground, and to do more with less.

The third is to be positive. The leading cadres themselves do, and those who ask others to do nothing, the leading cadres themselves cannot go one step further. In response to its own shortcomings, it will serve the people and self-discipline in the future. First, we must adhere to the learning of the important thinking of the "Three Represents" as an opportunity to further emancipate our minds, increase our pressure, and firmly establish the concept of serving the people wholeheartedly. We will go to the countryside frequently, have less entertainment, and insist on in-depth investigation and research. I think, I am anxious about the interests of the people. Only by reaching out to the people can we understand the real things from the people, understand whether the party's principles, policies, and measures have been implemented, and effectively solve problems for the people. Second, we must strictly implement the eight provisions of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection. As a leading cadre at the grassroots level, he has to shoulder the responsibility of "being an official and benefiting one party." As a cadre trained by the party and the people, it is necessary to strengthen self-cultivation, exert the power of personality, strive to be a righteous person, be honest and white, and take the lead to strictly demand yourself, always self-respect, self-examination, self-policing, self-motivation, self-discipline, and enhancement. The ability to resist corruption and refusal, gradually correct the existing shortcomings, and some problems are immediately banned. For the development of the rural economy, increase the income of farmers, maintain social stability, honest and honest, consistent in words and deeds, and the same as in the past, affecting people and inspiring people with a good image.

The two-month training has passed more than half of the time, which enabled us, the rural grassroots cadres, to make a new imperative to Deng Xiaoping’s theory of the primary stage, Jiang Zemin’s "three represents" and the spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 15th CPC Central Committee. Further arming in theory and in thought has opened the way for us to formulate our town's planning and implementation plan under the new situation, laying a foundation for us to better carry out our work in the future. Through training, I feel that the pressure on my shoulders is heavier, my thinking is clearer, my style is more realistic, and I am more motivated.
