I. Construction of document information resources

1. According to the teaching and readers' needs, timely replenish the collection. A total of 2,089 new books were purchased this year, including 183 foreign books. The total expenditure on books is 62,989.30 yuan. As of December 31, the total number of books is 77,705. In the procurement, we insist on the quality of the books and materials, and the book acceptance ensures that there are no errors. In addition to the "Wenhui Reading Weekly" and "National New Bibliography" ordering new books, they also select books in time to replenish their collections in time. For readers to recommend books, it is not responsive, but to clarify Liangzhu, books that are not suitable for students to read will never be purchased for demand.

As a secondary school library, in the construction of electronic resources, we attach importance to the sharing of digital resources. This year, our library continued to cooperate with the education network library, sharing the full-text database of Weipu Chinese Journal, Wanfang data, and superstar 320,000 e-books. And the use of the database personal user version. This year, 82,765 superstar e-books were purchased, mainly new books after XX years. The e-books shared online are versions before XX, so that virtual resources and real resources can complement each other. In addition, a new video resource library has been added to purchase 235 episodes of the film. These electronic resources are currently undergoing data installation and will be operational in the next semester.

2. According to the standard cataloging requirements, the books will be compiled to improve the quality of the compilation. According to the classification rules of the Book Classification Rules and the Bibliographic Data Entry Principles, the books are classified, the classification, cataloging and indexing are accurate, and the data is entered strictly according to the requirements of the catalogue, laying a good foundation for the future sharing of bibliographic information resources. In the case of a small number of people and a large workload, the book processing of newly purchased books was completed, and 10 batches of books were catalogued throughout the year, and a total of 2,089 new books were processed.

3. Adjust the collection structure of newspapers and periodicals to meet the readers' reading needs. According to the needs of the school's teaching and research activities and the publication of newspapers and periodicals, the newspapers and magazines collection structure should be adjusted in time. The library pays attention to collecting the journal materials of the key disciplines of the school, collects the journal materials related to the disciplines as much as possible, and guarantees the new opening according to the curriculum setting of the school. Professional related journals are ordered to satisfy readers' reading requirements for newspapers and periodicals. This year, we ordered 255 journals in 2019, 27 newspapers, and 3 foreign language magazines. The number of newspapers and periodicals has decreased from previous years. There were 23 kinds of newspapers in the first half of 2019 in various departments, and the expenses for newspapers and periodicals totaled 59,617.88 yuan. It has bound 673 volumes, and all of them have been catalogued and processed into Chinese periodicals. The total number of publications is 8,909, which basically meets the needs of readers to use newspapers and periodicals.

4. The computer equipment in the electronic reading room has been updated and free of charge for students to access online resources online, and it is forbidden to play games and browse unhealthy content.

Second, the reader service work

1. Continue to give full play to the advantages of traditional services and do a good job in basic reader service. The library adheres to the advantages of traditional services, maximizes the opening hours, and improves the utilization rate of books and periodicals. The library loan room, journals, and electronic reading rooms are kept open for at least 40 hours a week, so that readers can use the library to learn extracurricular knowledge. Teachers carry out teaching and research activities. In 2019, through the joint efforts of the comrades of the whole museum, the library borrowed 11,447 books a year, and returned 11,478 books, with a total circulation of 13946. The number of readings in the reading room was 30,688, and the electronic reading room was updated due to equipment update.

2. Use computer networks to broaden the channels of service for readers. Relying on the Internet and campus network, the library actively develops online reader services, insists that online resources are open 24 hours a day, and launches online new bibliographic recommendation, bibliographic retrieval, online reader lending information inquiry, online book renewal, Internet services such as class borrowing rankings; use library blogs to publish relevant content such as weekly books, book reviews, educational abstracts, etc., as online thematic literature for readers to read. These online reader services have promoted the service level of our library readers.

3. The book reminds me of the work. Regularly remind the readers of expired books, for those who do not return long-term overdue books, insist on constant reminders, some face-to-face education, and even notify parents. On this basis, most of the students who have long-term overdue books have been resolved.

Third, the reader's education work

The library's educational functions for readers often run through the reader's services, and the various reader services carried out by the library indirectly play an educational role for the students.

1. Through the new entrance education, library information staff training, we have targeted the readers to educate the basic knowledge of the literature. Usually use the library to retrieve the computer and answer the questions encountered by the students in the bibliographic inquiry.

2. Conducting a new book guide. Produce new book propaganda. In 2019, a total of 6 new bibliographies will be compiled. Through the Internet, excellent book introduction, book review, and experience will be published, and readers will be actively guided to read good books and stimulate readers' enthusiasm for reading.

3. Hold a book class activity every academic year. Through the monthly class borrowing ranking, the number and quality of books borrowed by class students and the quality of class students in the library, 10 book classes were selected in the 2011-2011 school year, and 18 best readers and 7 excellent book informants were selected. Give rewards.

4. In conjunction with the school's publicity activities, the library will promptly purchase educational propaganda pictures to be displayed on the campus window. The special commemorative pictures exhibited this year include: promoting a conservation-oriented campus, Expo knowledge and culture, my motherland, the Fifth Plenary Session of the xxth Five-Year Plenary Session and the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan", and "Don't Forget the National Shame to Rejuvenate China" to Commemorate the 75th Anniversary of the 129th Movement Wait. The display of these promotional pictures will help to cultivate students' patriotic feelings and moral awareness.

5. Organize the Blue Book Fan Club and conduct regular reading exchange activities. In June, some students were organized to go to Boku Bookstore to purchase books at the end of the World Expo; at the end of the World Expo, members of the book fans were organized to exchange views on the Expo; in December, a group of cultural and artistic lectures on “All things in the world” were held for members of the Fan Club and book informants. These activities have grown up the students' insights, broadened their horizons, and made them aware of their own deficiencies, which in some ways motivated their learning motivation.

Fourth, scientific management work

The management of the library not only refers to the management of personnel, but also the management of collections, catalogs, databases and readers.

1. Reader library management. To increase the borrowing function, electronic photo information, etc. for the 10th grade new card, and timely adjust the class information for the graduates and professional students to ensure the completeness and accuracy of the reader database information.

2, student book information officer management. In 2019, the work of student librarians was more standardized, and information meeting was held regularly. In the first half of the year, seven outstanding book informants were selected and honored among 15 book information officers involved in circulation management. In September, 18 informants were selected among the 10th grade freshmen, giving education and training to library knowledge, and arranged for them to participate in circulation management on time.

3. Book management and data backup. Every batch of new books and CDs will be sorted and printed in time for the property books, and carefully checked. The circulation of readers' data insists on small backups every day, and a large backup from half a month to one month to ensure the security of library materials.

4. Library statistical analysis work. Regularly complete the statistical analysis of the library, such as the total number of circulation, individual circulation statistics, daily circulation statistics, reading times, class borrowing rankings, set of books for the date set, and the use of electronic reading rooms.

V. Library Association Activities

Our library actively participates in the activities of the Shanghai Secondary School Library Association. Participated in the curator meeting held in Yuhang in April, the library annual meeting in December, and the Expo knowledge lecture, etc., and actively uploaded the electronic manuscripts of the secondary school map website. In the “Painting and Painting Competition” organized by the Association, our library achieved excellent results, and the hard pen calligraphy group won the first, second and third prizes respectively, and the brush calligraphy teacher group won the second prize. In the exchanges of participating activities, understand the gap between our library and other museums, absorb the advantages of others, and improve the library work in a timely manner.

The above is the main work of the library in the past year, but there are still many shortcomings. For example, the library's innovative consciousness needs to be further strengthened, advanced modern management technology is not enough in the library, and the traditional library concept needs to be updated. At present, when learning and practicing the scientific concept of development, the development of the library is also the development of science. The emphasis is on advancing with the times. At the moment, when information technology is rapidly developing, the development of the road is a little step forward. There is a pause to be behind. At the same time that schools establish first-class schools, libraries should also establish first-class libraries for schools in order to fully perform their functions in education and teaching.
