Summary of the 2019 work of Chinese and English teachers
This semester, I was the first one in English teaching. As a teacher who has been engaged in English teaching in middle school, although I have learned some teaching methods, in the actual education and teaching, I deeply feel the difficulty of teaching middle school English. It’s really hard to be in your body, and it’s in your heart! To make more progress in the future teaching work, we will summarize the teaching work of this semester.
First, study the curriculum standard and clarify the teaching objectives.
In order to adapt my English teaching to the English teaching requirements in the new era, and to establish a new concept of educating people, our English group collectively took a break to study the English Curriculum Standards, and understood the purpose of the current English curriculum reform. The focus of the English reform has clarified the overall goals of the English curriculum and the grading objectives of each content, understood the principles of English teaching, and learned some scientific evaluation principles, thus providing a sufficient basis for the subsequent teaching and laying a solid foundation. The foundation guarantees the smooth progress of teaching.
Second, prepare lessons well and clarify teaching ideas.
Preparing lessons is an important part of classroom teaching. I did the following when preparing lessons:
1. Prepare lessons before class. Be prepared. I carefully read all kinds of textbooks, including teaching materials, teaching methods, and students. Combining the students' actual and textbook content, we must consider the vertical connection of knowledge. It is necessary to consider the horizontal connection of new knowledge; not only to highlight the key points, but also to break through the difficulties; not only to reflect the complete teaching process, but also to pay attention to the transitional nature of each link. And to make a variety of interesting teaching aids, such as: word cards, physical objects , headwear and other teaching aids for classroom teaching services.
2, preparing lessons in the class, flexible arrangement of simple and easy to play game activities. When I introduce new lessons through the game, in order not to dispel the enthusiasm of the students, I always try to design some simple and easy to play games and activities when implementing the teaching. Spread the teaching content layer by layer, turn the boring classroom into a lively and interesting happy castle, let them learn in happiness, gain new knowledge in the game, and consolidate the new knowledge through repeated fun drills. At the event, the students are all I am willing to participate and fully mobilize the students' emotional attitudes and interests. The students' enthusiasm has been fully exerted and the teaching effect is good.
3, prepare lessons after class, sum up the teaching experience. Every time I finish a unit, I will summarize and reflect on the unit in time, write the postscript of teaching, affirm the success of this lesson, explore the inadequacies of the unit, for the future Teaching work lays the foundation.
Third, take the class seriously and reflect people-oriented.
The English Curriculum Standards proposes that under the guidance of teachers, students can achieve the goal of the task and feel the success through the methods of perception, experience, practice, participation and cooperation. This requires that the teaching of English classes should be based on students and cultivate They learn English interest and improve their ability to hear and understand vocabulary, sentence patterns, and practical use of language. To this end, I did the following in actual classroom teaching:
1, smart introduction, cultivate interest. Each section of the teaching I first through the game, sing English songs to stimulate students' interest in learning, so that students are in harmony in the atmosphere of learning English.
2, the combination of graphics and texts, master the new knowledge. According to the characteristics of the textbooks and texts, full use of word cards, physical teaching aids, stick figures and body language to inspire students, so that students with clear mission objectives, and with the help of pictures, actions, expressions, etc. Master the meaning, let them actively participate in learning to acquire new knowledge processes, and cultivate their interest in learning English. When encountering difficult words or sentences, I will not bother, patiently teach students to read, and strive to let them learn and understand. It will be used to cultivate their ability to read. While learning new knowledge, they also educate them in a timely manner.
3, game activities, consolidate new knowledge. After completing the new task of each class, grasp the students' enthusiasm for winning, through the teacher-student interaction, the interactive game activities will spread the teaching content layer by layer; for respect The individual differences of students create a relaxed learning environment, and the teaching is carried out with simple and easy-to-use fun and diversified games. Students are allowed to imitate, read, play, and listen to them, thus providing them with full activities and Exchange opportunities, let students gain new knowledge in the process of playing, improve their ability to use language, and cultivate their interest in learning.
4, review the new knowledge by listening to the recording. I often let the students listen to the audio tape about the teaching content of this lesson in the first 5 minutes of the end of each lesson. Listen to the first time and listen to it the second time. After the students can listen to the students and ask the students to use the corresponding body language or movements to enter the country to imitate and perform dialogues. Students will be given demonstrations and guidance in a cooperative learning and performance, so that students can fully experience the joy of success and realize that Learning English is fun. This not only reviews the knowledge points of this lesson, but also improves the students' listening and speaking ability and the accuracy of pronunciation, so that students can truly achieve their eyes, mouth, heart, and hand.
Fourth, strengthen self-study and continuously accumulate knowledge.
Because I have insufficient experience in English teaching, my knowledge is limited. At the same time of teaching, I always ask the teachers with deep qualifications to learn the teaching methods of English in our English group and strengthen my business. Learn, expand your horizons; collect all kinds of game materials that help English classroom teaching, and often listen to the recordings to correct your own voice intonation.
In short, the teaching work of one semester has paid a lot, and the rewards received are quite a lot: the trust of the leaders has made me energetic; the help of my colleagues has made me motivated; the cravings of the students have multiplied my confidence. I will work hard. Filling in the shortcomings in teaching, constantly improving teaching methods, designing some activities that students like in teaching, games to assist classroom teaching, activate classrooms, actively develop and effectively use curriculum resources, better serve English teaching, and strive to I will achieve better results in the future of English teaching. I believe that there will always be gains in farming.
