Autumn leaves

Autumn has come. I walked the campus. I saw that many leaves could not help the roar of the autumn wind, and when it was a spin, it fell. Suddenly, there were many golden butterflies dancing on the campus.

I bent over and picked up a leaf. Hey, what is this leaf? The crescent-shaped shape, the surface is dark green, the back is light green; although there is no green and dripping in the summer, it does not lose its temperament. Oh, it's citron leaves. Although it is not as eye-catching as Maple Leaf, it has a heart-warming fragrance that makes me like it more.

I put the fragrant leaves in my pocket and continued to walk around the campus. The golden leaves laid a yellow carpet on the campus and walked on it to make a "squeaky" sound. I couldn't help but reach out and a maple leaf fell into my hand.

I looked at it carefully, its shape is palm-like, red, and the size of my palm. Why are the other leaves green and yellow, but it is red? I was puzzled and took it to ask Teacher Xia. After thinking about it for a while, Teacher Xia said to me: "Because the coldness of the autumn destroys the chlorophyll of the leaves and turns into lutein, the leaves turn yellow. And Maple Leaf has become a red pigment because of other factors, then the maple leaf is red." Hey! I suddenly realized!

what! Autumn leaves, I love you!
