1000 words inspirational speech: firm belief, surpassing self

Teachers, students:

Good morning everyone, the topic of my speech today is "Strong Faith, Beyond Self."

Helen Keller has such a very vivid and vivid statement: "When a person feels the urge to fly high, he will never be satisfied with climbing on the ground." It is precisely because of the lofty ideal that there is a belief. She accepted the challenge of life and created a miracle of life.

She, a weak and hoarse woman, graduated from Harvard University and used all the power of life to scream and build a charity for the benefit of the disabled. She was selected as the top ten heroes of the United States in the 20th century. Ideals and beliefs, like a burning fire, made her out of the darkness, out of silence, ideals and beliefs like huge wings, helping her fly to the sky.

In a sense, people do not live in the material world, but live in the spiritual world, living in ideals and beliefs. For human life, to survive, as long as a bowl of rice, a cup of water can be; but to live a wonderful life, you must have a spirit, you must have lofty ideals and firm beliefs.

Ideals and beliefs make the poor become rich, and the people in the dark can see the light, making the people in desperation see hope and make the dream a reality.

Let me tell you a story below:

In the vast desert, an expedition is struggling. The top of the head is like a fire, and the expedition team members are dry and sweaty. The worst part is that they don't have water. Water is the belief that they depend on survival. The convictions are shattered. One by one, they collapsed and lost their souls. They all turned their attention to the captain. This is how to do?

The captain took a kettle from his waist, raised his hands and shook it with a force, and shouted in surprise: "Hey, I still have a pot of water here! But before crossing the desert, no one can drink."

The heavy kettles were passed from the hands of the players in turn. The original desperate face showed a firm look. They must walk out of the desert and support them to move forward step by step. Looking at the kettle, they licked their lips and suddenly added strength.

Finally, they escaped and escaped from the innocent desert. When everyone burst into tears, they stared at the kettle that gave them their faith.

The captain carefully unscrewed the kettle lid, but it was a sloppy sand. He said sincerely: "As long as there is a firm belief in the heart, the dry sand can sometimes become a clear spring."

Black leader Martin Luther King has a famous saying: "No one in this world can make you fall. If your own beliefs are still standing." Yes, don't go out even in the most difficult times. The torch of faith in the heart.

Classmates, no matter what your current grades are, no matter what your current foundation is, as long as you firmly believe in yourself and surpass yourself, you will have the direction of your efforts. You will have the goal of struggle, and you will have the motivation to live. You have hope for success!
