Choose to change life

Everyone came to New Oriental from all over the country, only to explain one thing, that is, to hope that their future is more brilliant. In fact, there are not many opportunities in our life to choose. Although we often find that there are many roads ahead, the choice is at a few key points. Choice has changed our lives.

Our life is basically doing two things. The first thing is to continue to accumulate. Starting from 1+1=2 in Shangguo, going to high school, going to college, now everyone is learning TOEFL, learning GRE, all in Constant accumulation. Accumulate our knowledge, accumulate our exam skills, accumulate our talents, accumulate our wisdom, accumulate our ability to judge, recognize our abilities, accumulate our friendship, love, and future social resources and connections. All of this is for one goal, the second thing we have to do, constantly changing our lives. There are not many opportunities for us to change our lives in our lives. For example, from elementary school to middle school, there is not much change beyond learning. The only thing that can change is to study and choose a good university. When you arrive at the university, there is no possibility of too much change. Choosing a job, postgraduate study, or going abroad when you graduate from college is another change. Studying abroad from abroad must be an opportunity to change one's life and an important moment to see another different world.

In my life, I have the opportunity to change my destiny twice. The first time I went from rural to urban, I went to Peking University through my three consecutive years of struggle for the college entrance examination. The second chance came from my failure, because my plan to go abroad failed, so I came out from Peking University and resigned as New Oriental.

Sometimes opportunities are hidden in the middle of failure, sometimes opportunities are hidden in the middle of pain, and sometimes opportunities are hidden in the middle of the road you have to go, but as long as you look for it, you will always find it. When I felt that the road had come to an end, I found that the road had come to an end and life had not come to an end. Sometimes the road is turning. For example, I didn't succeed in going abroad, but I turned left and turned to the right and found another way. New Oriental appeared. Sometimes, although there is no road, because we have feet, we can step on the land under our feet and turn it into our path.

Let yourself be a passionate stove

There are three sentences, and I am asking myself whether I have done it every day. It is called "someone loves, has something to do, has some expectations", the language is very simple, but it is not easy to do. The so-called "someone loves", for example, our parents love us, we will be very happy, because the family has its own warmth. Our boyfriend loves us, we will feel very warm, our girlfriend loves us, we will feel very intoxicated, this is the expression of love. But I prefer to understand "someone loves" as "someone is loved by you," that is, you can love someone proactively. No one wants to put the ice in his hand for too long because it is too cold. Sometimes we will complain that the world is too cold. The world is cold. No one in this world cares about you. In fact, we did not think that we may be indifferent, so the world will be indifferent.

Everyone knows what you are like and what the world you see is what you see. Even if you are a stove, but no fire in the winter, no one around you, because you can not give people warmth. Any fire, as long as there is a fire in the winter, someone will roast the fire around you. Therefore, if we exude our enthusiasm, we can influence the people around us, and our love, or the feeling of our willingness to help others, can affect many people around us. New Oriental is so inspired. I have found that people have energy. You can't see this energy. You can't touch it. Some people will radiate negative energy. Some people will emit positive energy. A person who emits positive energy must be a very active person. With such a statistic, the average person lives in a state of non-positive and non-negative living, and the percentage of this group accounts for 80%. Only 20% of people with a positive attitude, and 20% of the world's population, account for 80% of the world's resources. But if you are thinking about how to face the society more positively and solve problems every day, you will live in the middle of 5% of the leadership.

I believe that every student here can do a positive life. I used to have a very passive time, but then I turned my life to the initiative, and there is such a time today. There are more than 10,000 teachers in New Oriental. There are more than two million students each year. There must be some kind of energy in this area. This energy, to put it simply, is that the teachers of New Oriental exude a variety of enthusiasm among the students. They like The stove attracts you to the fire in the cold winter. This, you can do it too.

Something to do is happy

The second sentence is called "something to do." Now, the students are very happy. Every morning they come together to know how to read English, listen to a few listening questions, or write an essay. This is called “something to do”. Life is not made up of your life's ideals. Although there are many ideals, it does not constitute your daily life. For a lifetime, we will stop in front of which tree we will go. We will see the scenery at the foot of the mountain. We don’t know, there will be many changes in life. However, there is one thing we can do. What do we do every day, the initiative is in our hands.

What do you want to do today, it is up to your head. You can go out to play, you can also recite words, you can drink and chat with friends, you can also fight with friends. This is entirely a behavior that you decide on your own, so if you live each day well, you will have a good life.

I am very fortunate that I insisted on studying every day even when I was most confused. I didn't know why I should study at the time, but I know that all these things add up to one day and give me an answer. Sometimes, this answer is in your hard study every day, and the results will slowly show up. This is "something to do." "There is something to do" is very happy.

Growing up in anticipation

The third sentence is "something to look forward to." Everyone knows that the difference between humans and animals is that animals are naturally growing and naturally changing, and we can imagine tomorrow. Today, we can imagine tomorrow. This year, we can imagine next year. At the age of 20, we can think about whether we can have a more different life at the age of 40 and work hard for it.

Therefore, in the expectation, we grow up, and expectation also gives us the motivation to work harder. We look forward to a richer future, have a room and a car, look forward to more people in the future to become your friends, look forward to a better social status in the future, and even look forward to the future we can become outstanding scientists, thinkers, politicians who contribute to the world. , or business leader. We are all looking forward to it. Expectations are superimposed one by one. Every day life does not see change, but life adds up, and because of your expectations, it will become a big event.

We look forward to not only expecting ourselves, we expect and pray that our families can be safer, our parents can be healthier, and only if they are in good health, we can have no worries and go back to the world to be more happy. In fact, we are also looking forward to our country. Our motherland is more prosperous and strong, because a prosperous and powerful country gives us strength and confidence to support us in the world.

Twenty years ago, when I went to the US Embassy visa, I was refused a visa every time I went there. I asked the visa officer "What is the reason?" He said "No reason." It is very simple, because you are poor, so there is no reason. Because your country does not exist, you have to go abroad and there are reasons to attract you back. So I refused to sign once and refused to sign for three consecutive years.

Today, any of our classmates, whether you are traveling, studying abroad, or even going to settle, will give you a visa as long as you give a reasonable reason. Now in any country in the world, the visa rate for Chinese people is as high as 95%, and we were only about 25% at that time. What this means, means that the power of the country has made our lives more expandable, and we have a bigger world stage to fight.

In the future, many students may work abroad, not for foreign institutions. It is very likely that Chinese institutions will send you abroad and become the general manager of a certain country. Now many of my friends have already opened their own companies around the world, which means we have a world stage. Therefore, let us look forward to it, look forward to a better future for us, expect our parents to be healthier and longevity, and expect our country to be more prosperous, let us go to the future and go better. thank you all!
