I feel that our company must re-identify the relationship with society, the relationship with employees, the relationship with shareholders, and the environment. That is, in the future development of enterprises, we must rethink the new ten relationships. If we do not rethink these problems, we will still have trouble before the crisis of the last century. Therefore, every time a person is sick, there must be a signal. If you don't get this signal and don't adjust yourself and change yourself, your troubles will be great.
As I said earlier, it is a pity that the crisis has gone too fast, and I don’t know how many people are there. What we really learned from the crisis and what we thought about. Many of us today are happy and proud to restore yesterday, but in fact we need to create tomorrow. What kind of environment do we need in tomorrow's society, tomorrow's China, tomorrow's world, and tomorrow's business world? What should we do? Because I think the best for the future is not to imagine, but to create. If you design this future, make great efforts to this end.

I went to see two young people who died of cancer. One of the employees passed away in October. He left the company in September. Ask yourself, are there any relatives and friends on your side who have no cancer? 20, 30 years ago everyone said that cancer is what? But today we see friends, colleagues, relatives around us all kinds of cancer, what happened?

I have participated in many world economic forums recently. Every time I talk about atmospheric environmental protection and air pollution, I later analyzed it more and more because I have a relative who is particularly strong and suddenly tells us that it is cancer. We have done all our abilities. But still can't stay for 4 months. I reflect on this issue. We work hard. The young people on the side are also working very hard. The social development is getting better and better, the material civilization is getting better and better, but the disease is getting more and more. Every day we are considering building more hospitals. Train more doctors, but where is the problem?
I think that in 2001 and 2002, our daily engineers were very busy. Every computer program often had a crisis. We worked hard every day. Finally, we found that if we didn’t solve the source from the first paragraph, the program would not be serious, and we would create a lot of bugs. Entering, we will get busy later. If we don't solve the problem today, our medical reforms don't know where to go. We are not trying to train more doctors and hospitals, but to start from scratch. Nowadays, the world is getting more and more polluted and the water is getting less and less.

I am particularly excited to hear that Beijing is snowing this year. I found that Beijingers are more excited than me. Why is it snowing on October 1? Why are so many people excited when Beijing snows? Because the snow will be less and less, our children may not see the snow. I am very feng shui, doing business must talk about feng shui, the wind is the air, the water is the well at your door. I don't believe that if an employee opens the window of the office, if you see polluted air, if the chemical plant is next door to you, would your employees be willing to go to work there? If the sailors at your door are itching, are your employees willing to go there to work?

This year, Alibaba's 10th anniversary, I let my staff cross the Qiantang River. We have selected 10 swimmers in the case of ensuring completeness and must travel through Qiantang River. I tell you that Qiantang River was crystal clear 20 years ago, but now it is very polluted, and our last director is painted like paint. If we don't pay attention to the Qiantang River, there are two possibilities. The first one is dry and the second one is pollution. We have no chance to swim in the river. We have made a very interesting attempt within our own company. The Alibaba Group has 5 companies and 9 executives. We now stipulate that Alibaba's nine executives must sit down one day each quarter to discuss environmental protection and only discuss water. Because all the people sit down, you can not participate in anything, but the discussion of water and environmental protection must come back and discuss how we do it.

Among them, we think of another tree planting. The problem that all of us think of today is that pollution is so big, what can I do? We can't understand energy saving and emission reduction, but what can we do? I used BMW myself. I bought a car that was a guest. I felt very guilty in my heart. I was really guilty. But what can I do? I can't say that I am riding a bicycle to work like a newspaper.
