"6.26" International Anti-drug Day Publicity and Education Activities Arrangement

The United Nations convened a ministerial meeting on drug abuse and illicit trafficking in Vienna in June 1987. The slogan “Love life, no drug use” was presented at the meeting. More than 3,000 delegates from 138 countries agreed to June 26 each year. Japan is designated as the International Anti-Drug Day to arouse the attention of countries around the world on the drug problem. Our school is a national model school for drug control education named by the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of Education. It is our duty to strengthen anti-drug education for students and publicize the dangers of drugs to the society. In order to further strengthen anti-drug education activities, the school party and government joint committee decided to use the "6.26" International Anti-Drug Day to launch a series of anti-drug publicity and education activities in light of the regional and school actual conditions.
