Analysis of common cases in official document titles

Analysis of common cases in official document titles

The title is an important part of the administrative official document. It requires a clear theme, a prominent focus, a concise text, and a standardized format. It is the only basis for the title of the case file and the archival retrieval tool. According to this, it must be elaborated. However, there are quite a few official titles with sick sentences. The most common ones are two categories: one is that the sentence is not grammatical; the other is that the request, the letter, and the report are confused. Combined with specific case analysis is as follows:

First, the statement is not grammatical specification

Case 1, *** Department, *** Department, *** Department, and *** Department give priority to the improvement of the living treatment of young and middle-aged science and technology management experts with outstanding contributions.

Example 2: *** University's pilot measures for further invigorating the relevant policies of the school-run collective enterprise.

Example 3: Notice of the *** colleges and universities on accelerating the development of certain measures for the production of color prints in the hospital.

Example 4: The trial opinions of the Provincial Department of Education on accelerating and deepening the reform of the education system of ordinary colleges and universities.

Example 5, *** colleges and universities on earnestly doing a good job of commending outstanding teachers and educators in 1994.

Case analysis:

The preposition "about" in Example 1 is not used. The four organs in the title jointly issued a document, which should be intended for all units in the country, but it can also be understood as being only oriented to the system, which is ambiguous. The reason is that there is a lack of preposition between the issuing authority and the reason. ", should be added.

The verb of the example 2 is not properly matched. The title of the headline is “Trial”, and its limited part is the prepositional phrase “about”, “further invigorating the relevant policies of the school-run collective enterprise”, and the object of “invigorating” should be “enterprise” and not “related policy”. "After the policy," after the object, you need another verb to match it, because "policy" can only be implemented, not "trial", "trial" can only be "method" and not It is a "policy."

In Example 3, the verbs were mismatched and the language was not used properly. The object of this title "accelerated development" should be "color print" and not "certain measures". The contents of the archives have the words "decision to take the following measures", and "decision" and "regulation" should be used. If the use of "measures", etc., is a non-specified language, a separate notice should be issued and attached with the notice.

There are a number of errors in the title of Example 4: 1. The inappropriate combination of the verb and the object of the title “accelerated and developed” should be “the reform of the general education system” and not “a number of questions”. “Several questions” need to be matched with another verb. 2. In the absence of matching verbs, “several questions” are forced to serve as the central part of the limited part, while “several questions” cannot limit “trial questions”. "3. "Opinions" are guided and referenced documents. They are not mandatory. It is superfluous to add "trial" before "Opinions".

Example 5 lacks an object. The title verb is "good" and the missing object "work" should be added.

Second, the request, letter, report are confused

Example 6, ***About the application for resolving the replacement of a boiler and overhauling a boiler.

Example 7, *** report on the application for the 1995 public medical subsidy.

Example 8, *** Report on the requirements for the New Year's Art and Arts Festival.

Case analysis:

The content of the title of Example 6 is very clear, that is, the problem is solved. The keyword is “request”, and the title of “request” can directly summarize the content of “request” to make it clear at a glance. The correct approach should be to replace the word "report" with "request."

The title of the case in Example 7 is that a university asks a city to approve the “medical subsidy problem”. They are not affiliated and belong to a parallel relationship. The "Measures for the Administration of Official Documents of State Administrations" clearly states "the problem of mutual consultation, inquiry and reply, and the approval of relevant authorities for approval, etc.". The file belongs to the request for approval of the "letter" official document, it should be deleted "report", the word "report" is changed to "letter".

The title of Example 8 is obviously a question of the request of the higher authorities of the college to request the settlement of funds. The "Measures" stipulate that the "request" should be used for the instructions and approval of the higher authorities. This article is a request for official documents, and the word "report" should be changed to "request".
