Excuse
The excuse is that the current people have become passive and lazy in their work. At the West Point Military Academy in the United States, there is a long-standing tradition that is widely known. When confronted with military officers, there are only four answers: "Reporting Chief, yes "Reporting the Chief, not"; "Reporting the Chief, do not know"; "Reporting the Chief, there is no excuse." Other than that, you can't say more than one word.
"There is no excuse" is the most important code of conduct pursued by the West Point Military Academy in the past 200 years. It is the first concept that the West Point Military Academy teaches to every new student. It reinforces that every student tries his best to complete any task, rather than finding an excuse for not completing the task, even if it seems to be a reasonable excuse. The core is dedication, responsibility, obedience, and honesty. This concept is the most important criterion for enhancing corporate cohesion and building corporate culture. Adhering to this philosophy, many famous companies have established their own outstanding team.
“There is no excuse” is the philosophy and values that countless business elites uphold. It embodies a perfect execution, a obedience, an honest attitude, a responsible and dedicated spirit. In real life, what we lack is this kind of person: they try their best to complete the task, not to find an excuse.
The excuse let us temporarily escape the difficulties and responsibilities, and gained some psychological comfort. However, the price of the excuse is extremely high, and it does not harm us much less than any other bad habits. The most stupid thing in the world is to shirk the responsibility at hand, and think that it will be ready until the time is ready and the conditions are ripe. When you need to take on a major responsibility, you will bear it immediately. This is the best preparation. If you are not used to doing this, you will not be able to take on major responsibilities until the conditions are ripe, and you will not be able to do anything important.
A direct consequence of finding an excuse is that it is easy for people to develop bad habits of procrastination. The people who are looking for excuses are old-fashioned people who lack the spirit of innovation and the ability to work spontaneously. Therefore, it is futile to expect them to make creative achievements in their work. The excuse will allow them to sleep comfortably in the previous experience, rules and thinking inertia. Excuses can only make people escape for a while, but they can't make people feel good. No one is born with extraordinary ability. The correct attitude is to face the reality and to study hard and keep making progress with a positive attitude. The serious harm caused by excuses is that people are passively decadent. If they develop the habit of finding excuses, when they encounter difficulties and setbacks, they are not actively trying to overcome them, but looking for various excuses. This negative attitude deprives individuals of their chances of success and ultimately leads to nothing.
Good employees never look for any excuses at work. They always do their best to make every effort to meet the requirements of customers, rather than looking for excuses. They always do excellent tasks assigned by superiors. Solve problems for the superiors; they always do their best to match the work of the contract, and ask for help from colleagues, never find any excuses to push and delay. Beyond mediocrity, choose perfection. This is a maxim worthy of the pursuit of each of us. This is the case at work, as is the case with people. There are countless people who have developed a habit of scorning work, sloppy delays, and perfunctory attitudes at the head of their work, and they end up in the bottom of society and cannot make a difference.
American successful scientist Grantner said this: If you have the ability to tie your own shoes, you have the opportunity to pick up the stars! Let us change our attitude towards excuses and use the time and energy to find excuses to work hard. Come in. Because there is no excuse in the work, there is no excuse in life, there is no excuse for failure, and success does not belong to those who seek excuses!
“There is no excuse” that seems indifferent and lacks humanity, but it can motivate one's greatest potential. No matter who you are, there is no need for any excuses in life. If you fail, if you make a mistake, then a good excuse is not useful for the matter itself. Many of the failures in life are due to the excuses that have been anesthetizing us.
No excuses, act now, be perfect! Let us stay away from "excuses"!
