This winter vacation, I participated in a large-scale talent recruitment fair - Cixi City 2019, a large-scale talent exchange meeting for the Yangtze River Delta, gained a lot of knowledge, but also gained a lot of experience. It is better to say that it is a visit than to participate.

Because it is the first time to participate in the job fair, I am generally with a curiosity. On the seventh day of the seventh day, I will meet two students and feel the atmosphere of the job fair. When the car arrived at the station, I felt a strong atmosphere, and many people were waiting for the car. Finally we got on the bus and went to the destination. As soon as I arrived at the scene, the scene was amazing. It’s no exaggeration to describe it with people. Finally entered the hall, there are stalls everywhere, but fortunately, all the people are lined up, although crowded, but the order is actually. In the job fair, I saw the most spectacular scene. When the signboard of a credit cooperative was hanged out, there were forty or fifty people within 30 seconds. The choice of all positions is far less than the number of candidates. Several people and even dozens of people compete for one job. I chose to attend the job fair because I wanted to learn some code rules about the job fair. I also wanted to accumulate some experience about the job fair and lay a solid foundation for my future career. But this job fair has given me another insight.

For this job fair, my views are as follows:

This recruitment fair requires almost no high-level talents in the true sense. Many companies only recruit secretarial technicians and marketing personnel. More than 90% of the academic qualifications are for colleges and universities. Although some positions require height, age, and work experience, in general, the requirements for academic qualifications are low, and the posts tend to be simple operations and sales.

After an hour of observation inside, I found that there is no company or position for me, nor what I need. Perhaps I have a higher demand for myself, but I did not see the recruitment of law majors. In fact, the positions facing the legal profession are rarely related to recruitment. Generally, it is mainly based on institutions and institutions.

At the job fair, people are crowded with people, people are crowded, people are crowded. Although it seems that there are talented people, most of them are junior colleges and below. In addition, there are fewer students at the top schools. In general, the professional level of candidates is insufficient.

The only thing that attracted me was that the public institutions of Cixi City openly recruited professionals who were in short supply for the whole country. Although various requirements were put forward, the degree of education was also above the bachelor degree. However, when you look closely, almost all of the talents recruited by the economic profession are not employed. Need legal professionals. But it is very strange that the company and the bank are all in the market, but it is precisely the institutions and institutions. It can also be seen from this point that the qualification requirements for this job fair are relatively low.

Looking at everyone is anxious to find the position they want, our mood is still quite calm, but also summed up a lot of questions. Many predecessors have come up with various reasons for the difficulty of employment of college students:

First, because China's international division of labor is at the bottom of the international division of labor, China's employment presents a situation of “insufficient white-collar demand”, which is the main reason for the difficulty of employment of Chinese college students. The existence of this problem has caused a huge gap between the employment of Chinese university graduates and the number of graduates after the expansion of enrollment. It has become a structural difficulty and cannot be solved for a long time. It will become more and more serious in the future. This will reduce the negotiating position of college students and cause other serious problems.

The second reason is the quality of Chinese higher education, especially the quality of liberal arts education is extremely low. The root cause is the “complete westernization” of the teaching content, which is hardly aimed at China's political and economic reality. After several years of study at the university, students are still very detached from the situation of the real society, which is also seriously detrimental to the employment of students.

In addition, due to the change in demand relationship caused by the rapid expansion of enrollment, the negotiating status of college students in the career selection has dropped sharply. This is not only reflected in the decline in income level, but also in the employment unit, which puts forward many unreasonable demands and refuses to undertake the employment of college students. The cost of "on-the-job training".

There is another main reason related to the transformation of the entire social environment. Today's distribution is completely short-term, the personalization and marketization of welfare arrangements, the lack of overall interest arrangements and long-term incentives to protect individual basic welfare, which is not conducive to the stability of early employment of college students, and the choice between employment units and individual college students. The order cannot be matched, causing serious contradictions.

Although there are many reasons for this, I personally think that college students think that the work is difficult to find, the competition is too fierce, and they have an unshirkable responsibility. If we have more practical experience, we can quickly learn the theory we have learned. If we need to combine with work needs, then practical experience cannot be a stumbling block to us; if our education does not stay in junior college, but is further developed, then we will not be restricted to the largest number of competitors. But if we can have a long-term vision and don't expect to go to the sky, we can find a relatively secure job in the right city; if we are willing to start from scratch in the work, I believe in it. Our life will not stagnate.

In the face of the financial crisis, in the face of employment winter, we must adjust our plans in a timely manner. Since we cannot escape, we will make the worst plans and strengthen our beliefs. We believe that one day we will achieve something and we will be at the top. The mountains are small. We must have a long-term vision, a broad vision, a solid professionalism, a rich practice, a pragmatic attitude, and a pragmatic attitude. We believe that we have these things. For the work and the future, we will be happy.
