Summer Social Practice Questionnaire Report

Questionnaire of bathing beaches in Qinhuangdao summer social practice

On July 7th, 2019, at 5:10 in the morning, with the slow stop of the train, we embarked on the practice destination of Beidaihe District, Qinhuangdao City. In the morning, after a short break, we started our preliminary work and went to Beidaihe. Learn about the beaches nearby.

We visited the Haibin Bus Terminal, three free beaches near Liuzhuang, recorded the environment around the baths and the conditions of the sea, and found the following problems:

1. The environment around the bathing area is not very satisfactory. In many places, there are beverage cans, paper scraps, peels and other waste left by tourists.

2. Some tourists turned a blind eye to the ban on climbing on the beach, and still climbed to see;

3. Some garbage items brought in by tourists in the seawater;

In addition, during the investigation, we inadvertently discovered the situation of some river ditch in Beidaihe City. These rivers are covered with green algae and will be close to asking for an unpleasant smell. We asked the people nearby to get the answer to this situation for some time.

When walking along the coast of the bus, we will see a lot of simple fishing boats on the shore from time to time. Most of these fishing boats are powered by diesel. Whether we often leave fishing for fishing boats will leave some diesel oil in the sea and pollute the ocean. Ecology has produced doubts.

In the evening, we learned from the Internet and local residents that the Qinhuangdao coastline had oil spill accidents in 2006, 2008 and early this year. At the end of last year, there was a red tide in Beidaihe, which brought difficulties to local fishermen and the government. We designed the questionnaire for the visits and information we learned on the day.

Early the next morning, we brought the questionnaire we designed last night to the beaches we visited yesterday, distributed questionnaires to some tourists on the waterfront, and exchanged with tourists and local residents to learn about Beidaihe. .

We also encountered many difficulties in the questionnaire survey. Some tourists and local fishermen were very unhappy about our investigation. We thought that what we did was useless. However, we still got most of the investigators. In cooperation, especially we have met an old man who has been half a hundred years old. He shared with us the changes in Beidaihe that he has seen for more than 50 years, and expressed his concern about the future of his hometown.

In the evening, we took back a hundred questionnaires and met the sea breeze. We left our footprints on the beach on this day. Although the sea water washed the footprints again and again, the investigation exercise in these two days We communicated with people, analyzed problems and other aspects, and realized that for a coastal city like Qinhuangdao, to build an environment-friendly city, the ocean issue is a major link that cannot be ignored.
