Internship report on the activities of college students in the winter in 2019

Now the country has been constantly advocating the scientific concept of development and realizing the rise of the rural economy. As a child who grew up in the city, I have not lived in the countryside for a long time. The only time I went there during the day, I went home in the afternoon, and I didn’t have any deep experience. I know that the school has to organize students to go to the countryside and realize the activities of going to the countryside. I am very excited. I want to participate. This is a good training for me.

From July 11th to July 17th, 2019, a 35-member volunteer team from the Summer School of Economics and Management of South China Normal University came to Gongcheng Town, Xinxing County, Yunfu City to carry out the summer vacation of the university students. "Social practice activities. In the theme of “focusing on society, paying attention to life, and paying attention to health”, we have carried out many activities in the seven days of Gongcheng Town, volunteering for local students, networking with local students, investigating in farmers, and paying attention to poverty. The situation survey, publicize Deng Xiaoping's thoughts in the local area, publicize the peasants' poverty alleviation, publicize the knowledge of bird flu prevention and the maintenance of the rights and interests of migrant workers in cities. In the local countryside, we have learned a lot of things that we can't learn in textbooks, and we have seen some problems. This is the first time that these college students have been so keen and deeply thinking about rural issues. Of course, the most concerned about the most important issues are the economic development of local rural areas and the issue of educational development.

I. Developing the economy---Accelerating reform

Entering the 21st century, China will begin to implement the third-step strategic deployment, build a well-off society in an all-round way, and put forward higher requirements for agriculture. Only by strengthening the agricultural base and opening up the rural market can we support the rapid growth of the national economy. The issue of agricultural benefits and peasant income is not only related to rural reform, development and stability, but also to the overall situation of the national economy and the development of society as a whole. Therefore, the development of the rural economy is particularly important. In the town of Gongcheng, we are delighted to see that in recent years, because of the local conditions, we have formulated better policies, guided farmers to vigorously develop planting and breeding industries, and supported the development of township enterprises. The local rural economic development has shown good results. The momentum of the development of some township and village enterprises, farmers' income has been greatly improved. At present, there are three or forty sweet potato processing factories in the town alone. Although the scale is not large, it has better solved the sales of the locally grown green plums, and also solved the income problems of some farmers.

Although it has made great achievements in recent years, Gongcheng Town is still a small town with relatively backward economy, lack of material resources and low income of farmers. Some farmers still live a very hard life. In our trip to the countryside, there was an activity to visit the families of the teaching students. During that visit, we learned that many farmers rely on farming to plant thin fields, work as short-term workers, live in poverty, and even read children. All become a problem. In the co-conformity, we have also truly felt the poverty and backwardness of the common development. After going out from the Gongcheng Middle School, I went to the center of Gongcheng Town, the most prosperous place in the town! However, it is the most prosperous place in the town, so there are two or three streets plus a few alleys. It takes a long time to go shopping and the things that can be bought are extremely limited. In Guangzhou, how busy it is, shopping can be done without a day's time, it can be described as a far cry! It is no wonder that before coming to the three-country activities, the teacher repeatedly emphasized the necessity of bringing ourselves and carrying out activities.

There is only one way to go in the face of backwardness and poverty. That is to - vigorously develop the economy. I feel that the local area should broaden the field of increasing agricultural revenues and increase the income of farmers.

1. Vigorously develop individual, private and township enterprises, encourage and organize the export of peasants' labor, and actively and orderly transfer surplus labor of peasants.

2. The government strengthens economic guidance

The local government should proceed from reality, rationally adjust economic policies, strengthen economic guidance to farmers, and ensure the interests of farmers. For example, in view of the lack of communication and disorderly competition among many local cool fruit factories, we can try to establish a dessert fruit processing factory association, coordinate the interests between the factories, strengthen communication, avoid disorderly vicious competition among factories and lower prices. Damage the interests of farmers.

3. Develop agricultural socialization services

Encourage farmers to serve organizational innovation, strengthen agricultural quality standards system, agricultural product quality testing and market information system construction, create some agricultural product wholesale markets, vigorously promote fine varieties, do a good job in science and technology education and training for farmers, and provide farmers with technology and services in a timely manner.

4. Vigorously promote agricultural industrialization management

Encourage the adoption of various agricultural production modes such as company plus farmers, order farming, etc., adopt preferential policies in terms of finance, taxation, credit, etc., form an operating mechanism that shares benefits with farmers and share risks, promote agricultural mechanization, and reduce agricultural production costs.

Improve the processing level and efficiency of agricultural products, and apply deep processing of primary products through the use of high technology, which can provide a very broad market space for the growth of agricultural products. For example, the local fruit production is large, and the fruit processing industry is vigorously developed.

Second, backward education ---- more need to pay attention

The backwardness of the common development, I feel that it is not only in its economy, but also in the backwardness of the common education! The level of education is relatively low, and some rural children lose their educational opportunities. They go out to work when they are young. As a single middle school in the town, Gongcheng Middle School has a small area and a very simple facility. Because there is no runway in the middle school, there has not been a school sports meeting. I heard that the students I brought to me introduced me so much. I can't believe that the Games is a very important cultural and sports event for any middle school, but it is an unattainable dream. We are obliged to teach activities here. We are faced with simple classrooms, lack of teaching aids, and students who are in urgent need of improvement at the cultural level. During the event, we had talked with many students. Some students told us that after graduation, they will not study anymore, or go out to work or learn to work on their own. Listening to their plans to stop reading, we are very sad, the lack of material is not sad, the spiritual backwardness, ignorance is sad. However, maybe these are not their intentions. I know that for college life, they are as full of yearnings as we were when we were young, otherwise they will not be so happy to be with us, both in class and under class. Willing to stay with us, and not so interested in asking about our university life. What we can do is to communicate more with them, persuade them not to give up their studies, and tell them that there are many poor but aggressive young farmers in the ivory tower.

In this teaching activity, Lan Huanhuan gave a class to the local students about the goal of life. This class may have been heard a lot for us, and the reason is also understood, but for local students. Such a class is a timely rain. Through vivid examples and explanations, Lan Huanhuan tells everyone to determine their own life goals and tell them how to face the setbacks and failures in their lives, and do not give up easily regardless of any difficulties encountered. This is also true in academics. Economic hardship is nothing. As long as you persist, you can go to college and you can achieve your own ideals. Although the class is over, it has only begun to give students a thought. I don't think anyone wants to end their student life in the middle of the country.

In the co-formation, time does not leave people, the time of the week is like a gap, and the fleeting moments pass. But the end of the trip to the countryside does not mean the end of the truth between us and the local students. Even if the time goes by, I am convinced that the truth will last forever in the hearts of each other. The trip to the countryside has given us a lot of feelings and thoughts!

There are still many things I have to learn in the future. This internship makes me feel that we have to realize the difficulty of building a socialist well-off society in an all-round way, because many peasants’ living conditions are far from what I imagined, and building a socialist well-off society with Chinese characteristics. Social tasks have a long way to go. We must be aware of the arduous task and not be blindly optimistic!
