On the second day of returning home, I began to make plans to go to the community, units, buses, transportation posts and other places to carry out my Expo propaganda - "I am walking with the Expo" activities, so that the Expo is deeply rooted in the hearts of the people, so that everyone can understand More Expo knowledge, learn more Expo English, and better do your own for the Expo.

I. Planning and preparation

As a student of the Foreign Language Department of the Institute, I should give full play to my own strengths, teach and promote the Expo English, spread the Expo culture, and promote the spirit of the Expo. When I had an idea in my heart, I immediately made a plan and called my classmates to carry out this activity together to form the “I am walking with the Expo” Expo propaganda team. I am the captain. Then we made detailed planning and arrangement for the event. It is highly efficient to decide to be responsible for several communities and to act separately. After allocating their respective tasks, I was excited and excited, bought the Expo shirt and the Expo flag, and integrated into the boom of the Expo. I decided to promote the Expo to wherever I went during the summer vacation and always walk with the Expo. After a week of hard work, I personally produced the Expo English card with an intuitive and easy-to-understand World Expo project icon. Gathered little knowledge about the Expo. After the preparations were completed, I started my "I am walking with the Expo" activity.

Second, I am an Expo promoter.

Let the Expo enter the community, enter the residents, enter the common people, and promote the purpose of the event to the level of the Expo. This is the most valuable and meaningful. In front of the residents' buildings and in the small gardens of the community, there are many residents who exercise and enjoy the cold. They are gathered together in twos and threes, which is a good time to promote the knowledge of the Expo. I will start my project from here.

I am a girl who is not very likely to talk to strangers. To start my practice, I am completely forgotten when I am ready. I am standing in a place not far from the crowd and hesitating to go forward. How do I speak the first sentence? Everyone talks well, so happy, I am a stranger in the past, will everyone care about me? Are people interested in Expo knowledge? Will you listen to me? What if no one cares about me? How many shame? The more you think about it, the less you dare to go. Turn around around a cluster of people, this group of people are chatting and can't go. The uncle of this group of people looks so fierce, I dare not go. This group of people are sitting and not talking, so dull, I will not care for me in the past... So I have to make excuses for myself again and again, and I have been in the same place for a long time. "No, no, I will never start, I will never be brave, don't think so much." I told myself over and over again. In the end, when I closed my eyes, I walked into a crowd. This is a group of old grandmothers who are chatting. I said, "Grandmothers are good. I am a student of the Chengdu Institute of Physical Education. During the summer vacation, I will do social practice to promote the Expo." "Okay, well, we all especially support the Expo, we listen to you..." Grandma said happily. I only discovered that my fears and concerns are completely unnecessary. At this time, the things prepared in my head are back. The story of the Expo is one by one, and Grandma is particularly happy to listen. They are also particularly willing to learn English. Although some of the sounds are not accurate, but the grandmothers have learned to be very energetic, follow me over and over again, I feel the enthusiasm of the hometown people's Expo, and suddenly the confidence is multiplied...

A group of children are playing happily, and I talked with them about the Expo. They are very excited. When they talk about Expo English, they are smarter and more eager to learn. I read the English words olympic, swiming, volleyball, diving... I remember, they waved the flag and excitedly ran. Running and shouting English. We learned English together while playing games, and attracted many children to participate. They became teachers and other children to learn English.

The old grandfathers are more talkative and enthusiastic. After I introduced the Expo knowledge and English, they talked to me about more topics. Appreciate my actions and encourage me to contact the society, enter the society, and deal with all kinds of people. I also taught that I have to lay a good foundation. If I have a stomach, I will be confident. Young people should exercise more. I have benefited from the experience and teaching of these people.

The residents are very enthusiastic, very simple, support the Expo in their own way, are happy to understand the Expo culture, and learn Expo English. Every time I take a card with English words and the Expo flag into a crowd, there will be a lot of people around, want to listen to the information and anecdotes of the Expo, and want to learn what they don't understand. This made me very moved, but also improved my work enthusiasm, work enthusiasm and self-confidence. For the first time, I realized that as long as you are sincere, confident, and enthusiastic, you will be touched by others. Even if you are a stranger, they will also give you back with sincerity and enthusiasm. I not only promoted the Expo culture, the Expo English, but in the conversation with them I also learned a lot of books that I could not learn.

After a few days of practical activities, when I saw people, I could not restrain myself from promoting the passion of Expo culture. Residents with inconvenient mobility went deep into the residents’ homes, introduced them to Expo knowledge, and taught Expo English. The residents are very welcome and very enthusiastic. From their attitudes, I feel that their support for the Expo, the desire for learning, and the concept of lifelong learning have been deeply rooted in the hearts of the people.

I also went to the community's senior universities and welfare homes to promote the Expo knowledge, and together with the staff to help the elderly widows do housework and chat with them.

I deeply feel the harmony and beauty of the big family. As long as you are willing to pay and think a little more about others, you will find that everyone is so kind and enthusiastic. A grateful feeling arises spontaneously. Living with a heart and living with gratitude, you will find life so beautiful. Man is a social animal. It is impossible to live without being separated from others, or even to survive. We must learn to communicate with others and integrate ourselves into society. In this way we can adapt to society and learn to survive.

Third, participate in traffic management

Traffic posts are the hub of traffic. I came here to help the traffic coordinator to do a good job of transportation. When they are resting, they will introduce them to the World Expo and explain the Expo English. It is the duty of the Expo propagandist.

In July, the temperature is high. I took the heat to the traffic junction at the crossroads. I saw the uncle and aunt of the co-management holding a small red flag. After the quick guidance of the traffic police uncle, I put on a small yellow hat, hang a small whistle, held a small red flag, and started the co-management work. I am very excited, very excited, and very proud, but I am very dissatisfied with myself when I see that I am not a standard commander. After five minutes, the sweat flowed down the face. It is still gratifying to see pedestrians being able to stop on the line neatly in the red light and obey the traffic rules. I finally waited until the change of the post, I used the rest time to practice the command movement. Uncles and aunts watched me sweat and persuaded me to rest for a while. I insisted on practicing the standard of the movement to rest. They admire my dedication and give it to the side. I am doing guidance and making me improve quickly. When I changed my post and chatted together, I introduced them to the Expo and taught them the English words of the Expo project. Although their pronunciation is not standard enough, but I have seen everyone's enthusiasm for the Expo, I think it makes a lot of sense, so that the Expo has entered the crowd and is close to the people, so that they understand the Expo after work, learn English, and improve the Expo. Consciousness has enriched their lives and is very popular with them.

In the following week, I went to work with the coordinators, one morning and one morning, and one shift every hour. One day the squadron leader and another traffic police uncle personally came to hang the Expo propaganda slogan, just in time to catch up with my laid-off, and helped in the past. It is our common aspiration to let more people know about the Expo and enter the Expo.

At first, looking at the traffic management is very simple. Isn't it just standing there blowing a whistle and waving a small flag? Anyone can do it. Now I know that any seemingly simple thing is not easy to do. When the car goes there, my traffic coordinator will do it. Always remind pedestrians to abide by the traffic rules, do not ride people, do not cross the road, and leave a good impression on foreign tourists from Kaifeng to Kaifeng. I also assist the traffic police to promote the Expo, hang banners, promote Expo knowledge, Expo civilization, and manage traffic. The traffic police uncles and aunts are very satisfied with my work, highly appraised and hope that I can often assist them in their work. My work is recognized and I am very happy.

Fourth, into the unit

After so many days of Expo promotion, I feel that my work is more meaningful. I decided to walk into the unit and carry out the promotion of the Expo. I came to the company, the store, introduced the Expo knowledge to employees and customers, and taught the Expo English. When I walked the streets, I would wear my “work clothes” – the Expo shirt, bring English cards and small flags, and see the store units go in, to promote the Expo knowledge and Expo English to employees and customers.

I went to **Apparel Co., Ltd. to catch up with the staff meeting. When I explained the idea to the person in charge of the company, they attached great importance to it. I felt that my ideas and activities were in line with the corporate culture of their company, and I decided to let me at the meeting. After the end, start my activities in the conference room. When I walked into the conference room with sixty employees sitting in the conference room, I was not fully prepared and still nervous. For the first time, I was doing the Expo propaganda on such a formal occasion. I silently told myself that "I must do it, no problem!". I confidently embarked on the podium, from the history of the Expo to the fun of the Expo, from the Expo project to my experience of insisting on swimming training all the year round, from the spirit of the Expo to the fitness of the whole people, from introducing me from the Foreign Languages ​​Department of Chengdu Sports Institute to teaching the Expo English... ...wined everyone’s applause, I succeeded. Really very fulfilling. After the meeting, everyone still did not know what to do. I continued to consult the Expo English around me and agreed to teach English after work the next day. The enthusiasm of the staff and the passion for the Expo inspired me and gave me great encouragement.

I contacted the "** hospital". They have a very good routine activity. Every day at 7:30 in the morning, all the medical staff wearing work clothes before going to work, neatly lined up at the entrance of the hospital to do sign language exercises - grateful heart, attracting the attention of many passers-by every day. I think that a song related to the Expo that can inspire people to fight - "Sunshine is always after the storm" is very good, I suggest that the dean add this song. The dean readily agreed. So I followed the Guangxue Society and went to the hospital every day to teach the medical staff to do sign language exercises. After four days of continuous practice, we finally got tidy. After the sign language exercise, I will come to participate every day, because there is already a fixed position in the queue. When I heard that I was a foreign language student, the Dean said that the spirit of the Expo can encourage medical staff to be more dedicated. In order to improve the overall quality of their medical staff, I would like to ask the medical staff to teach English every day. This made me very moved. When I asked for a request for Expo propaganda in the hospital, the dean immediately decided to hand over the language, and the ten-minute preaching time before going to work was completely handed over to me. In the past two weeks of promoting the Expo in financial hospitals, I not only carried out my "I am with the Expo" activities, but also exercised my social practice ability and speech skills in all aspects.
