Experience in the practice of social education in the summer of 2019

In the practice of more than 10 days, I felt a lot. On the first day of our practice, what made me most shocked was the geographical location there and the economic situation there. Xiqiao Township is 700 meters above sea level. There are several kilometers between each other, and there is no vegetable farm in the local area. There are only two buses on the bus. The local houses are empty, and most of the remaining villagers rely on their own food to maintain their lives.

Just arrived at this place on June 26, we lived in the small dormitory of the center of Xiqiao Township. After we had everything ready, we enrolled in the surrounding villages and made a physical and mental activity about the students. Questionnaires on family status and the status of the school. In the next few days, we strive to make students feel the joy of learning in cultural knowledge and hobbies. After a few days of getting along, I deeply feel their desire for knowledge and love for the interest class. Because of the school teaching environment The constraints, the teaching facilities here can not meet all their needs.

We have received strong support from the township government, women's federations and schools here. On July 3-4, we organized a small team to come to the Daruoyan Scenic Area to conduct a fundraising campaign for caring for left-behind children. And we have developed one-on-one forms to help children who are difficult to stay. Although we can't provide a lot of material, I hope that we can give them the greatest encouragement at the spiritual level.

Time is always fast, and practice is coming to an end soon. On the last day, we launched a fierce senior student speech contest on the small stage of the old central country, which was interspersed with many of their performances. I realized that they are not without talent, just missing such a stage for them to show themselves.

On the night before I left, I and a few teammates were watching the stars in the sky on the fence of the school. The night in the mountains was particularly dark, and the stars were particularly bright and special. Looking at them, we couldn’t help but leave. This place we practice can't bear to be separated from those innocent and lovely students. That night, we were insomnia.

On July 6th, we took the shuttle bus and said goodbye to Xiqiao Township, bid farewell to the students there, and ended our social practice. This practice has made me unforgettable.
