First, a brief introduction to this business. Shunde Shengwei Office Steel Factory is located in Tancun Industrial Zone, Chencun Town, Shunde. It specializes in producing file cabinets, staff cabinets, safes, lockers and hardware. It adopts factory direct sales method and also undertakes custom-made samples. In terms of organizational structure, the department's department is relatively simple to set up, only the factory manager, accounting department, supervisor, workshop leader, and transportation team. Because this is a small-scale individual proprietorship, the size of the factory is There is no strict division of labor system for the director and the supervisor. It is understood that the head of the factory has been engaged in the manufacture of steel tools since 1985. In 1997, the factory was moved from another place to the Tancun Industrial Zone. Now the factory has more than 20 workers, usually The implementation of the piece-rate wage system is more work-intensive, so employees are more motivated. On average, ordinary production workers are hundreds of months, while some experienced masters have two or three thousand a month. . In fact, the basic situation of this factory is that we communicate with the person in charge of the factory and the employees. As for the main manufacturing process of the products in the factory, we are constantly conducting field visits and asking questions during the practice. It’s not easy to know the end.

We know that the original form of a product is raw material. Then, let's talk about the source of materials for the steel factory. Since the factory's filing cabinets, staff cabinets and other daily necessities are some steel products, the materials are mainly iron plates, steel plates, etc., and the supply is mainly in the Lecong steel market, because the nearest materials can save some transportation costs, and music. The steel output from there is stable and the price will not fluctuate greatly. Therefore, the factory usually purchases more than 10 tons of steel each time. Of course, in order to ensure smooth sales of products, materials are often purchased according to orders, so as to avoid material backlog. . However, there is a noteworthy problem here, that is, office supplies are also divided into seasons. Under normal circumstances, the market is more prosperous after the Spring Festival and during the holiday period, and the April and May after the Qingming period is lighter. Appropriate adjustments are made to the material procurement plan, and of course the inventory of finished products should be appropriately adjusted accordingly. After the materials are purchased, of course, they are manufactured. Usually, they are produced according to the existing product samples, but sometimes they are designed and produced according to the needs of customers. Management process problems and solutions:

Given the small size of the company and its simple organizational structure, its management process will not be too complicated. From receiving the order to recycling the goods, the main person in charge of the plant is followed. In the production workshop, workers in different processes form a group. The contractor is responsible for the division and coordination of the entire group. The contractor is supervised by the workshop supervisor or the factory manager, and there is no communication between the contractors. This practice is prone to a "chain reaction." For example, the opener has made the steel block size of the filing cabinet bigger, but the punch master found it but did not point it out, and continued to do the next process according to the wrong specifications, because they didn’t want to waste time discussing with the people in the feeding group, just thinking Make as many steel plate modules as possible as soon as possible, but by the end of the "quality inspection", the product is likely to hit the "in situ" and re-do it even become a waste product. In this way, it wastes time and increases production costs. Therefore, it is especially important to establish a good communication link between the contractors.

In addition, after the entire product is probably completed, the installer is responsible for the installation of each component and the quality inspection. This one-person and two-post approach can save the cost of wages, but it will reduce the quality of the quality inspection, because those installers Most of them don't have the professional knowledge to judge whether the products are qualified. Moreover, the installation work itself consumes a lot of physical strength and spirit, so they have no energy to deal with the quality inspection and feel that it is not necessary to spend too much time, plus The products they have checked can be shipped smoothly. In order to ensure the quality of the products, the factory should recruit several professional quality inspectors.

It can be seen from the improved layout that if the equipment placement in the entire production workshop is set according to the process sequence, the production time of the product can be shortened, and the employees between adjacent processes can be easily communicated with each other, thereby facilitating the entire workshop.
