The typhoon is a general term for tropical cyclones. It is the most destructive large-scale weather system and one of the most serious natural disasters in the coastal areas of Zhejiang. Wenzhou has a developed economy and concentrated migrant workers. They live in a poor environment, rented houses are easily blown down by the wind, and many of them lack the knowledge of typhoons. Especially for migrant workers who came to Wenzhou in the first place, this lack of manifestation is very obvious, and it is most likely to cause casualties. In order to enable these migrant workers to better understand the typhoon, preventive measures can be better done when the typhoon comes, so as to reduce some casualties and economic losses. The publicity work of migrant workers is especially important. And some elderly people living in some surrounding villages, their houses are relatively worn, and the typhoon is very dangerous.
Therefore, a group of eight people from the China Society of Metrology's Sunshine Summer Social Practice Team came to Cangnan County, the southernmost tip of Zhejiang Province, which is known as the “South Gate of Zhejiang”. That is the main birthplace of the Wenzhou model, one of the first batch of coastal open counties in the country, and one of the top 100 counties in the country's county economy. There are a large number of foreigners there, and it is also a frequent occurrence of typhoon login.
At that time, our main active people were migrant workers and some vulnerable groups living in the surrounding villages. Foreign workers: On the one hand, we have a deeper understanding of the situation of their preventive and emergency situations when the typhoon hits, and their understanding of the anti-Taiwan resistance knowledge; on the other hand, we Also made a publicity list on anti-Taiwan anti-Taiwan related knowledge, so that some migrant workers who have not experienced the typhoon have a relatively good awareness of anti-Taiwan and anti-Taiwan, and can better resist typhoon when the typhoon comes, reducing Some casualties and economic losses have led some people who have already experienced typhoons to find a better way to prevent Taiwan. At the same time, we also investigated how the living conditions of some lonely widows and others when the typhoon struck, how the government arranged. We hope that through this social practice, the migrant workers and the vulnerable groups such as the elderly will get more attention and get more warmth. I also hope that more people will understand and value the knowledge of Taiwan against Taiwan, so as to better fight against typhoons.
During the event, we visited the largest luggage market in China, the migrant workers in the town, and participated in the actual exercise of the typhoon in the Cangnan County Water Conservancy Bureau. They visited the lonely elderly residence in the surrounding villages of Qianku Town. Going to the largest group in Cangnan County, China. From this we learned that due to the increasing number of migrant workers in Cangnan County, most of them have not experienced typhoons, and the knowledge about preventing Taiwan against Taiwan is very lacking. At the same time, they are usually busy with their livelihoods, lack of learning, insufficient sources of knowledge, coupled with poor living conditions and poor housing. When the typhoon struck, there was a large-scale transfer. In the absence of understanding, they had a great fear of the typhoon. At the same time, from their joy and careful reading after seeing our leaflets, they can also reflect their desire for this knowledge and their fear of typhoon.
The following are some of the issues that we have summarized in this action, as well as some suggestions for solving them.
