Since I became the Director of the Student Department, I feel that I have great responsibilities and heavy burdens. The pressure of work has prompted me to be stricter in all aspects. With the strong support and cooperation of the leaders and colleagues, I have made some progress. The report is as follows:

First, progress in thinking, democracy in style.

In order to improve the policy theory level and professional quality of all staff, we will take the lead in studying political theory, actively participate in various business trainings, comprehensively understand and accurately publicize the party's line, principles and policies, and conscientiously implement them in light of the actual situation. Respect the opinions and suggestions of the subordinates at work, broaden the mind, broad-mindedness, and be kind to others, regardless of personal gains and losses, clear work ideas, clear organization, strong organizational skills, courage to take responsibility, be strict with self-discipline, and set a good example .

Second, seek truth and be pragmatic, and do everything in a down-to-earth manner.

1. Plan and organize the relocation of student residences and complete them successfully.

2. Do a good job in the orientation of the freshmen of the 05th grade and the new entrance education.

3. According to the requirements of the Ministry of Education, cooperate with the Academic Affairs Office to revisit the Student Handbook and organize students to study and implement the new student management regulations.

4. Complete the assessment of various scholarships. In the current year, the comprehensive evaluation was carried out twice. In September, the evaluation of national-level scholarships and provincial government scholarships was carried out. It was open, fair and just, and was well received by teachers and students.

5. Efforts have been made to help the poor to attend school.

The first is the student loan work. In March 2005, the Bank signed a cooperation agreement with ICBC. After working with teachers from various departments, 844 student loans were issued in May, totaling 3.74 million yuan. In the second half of the year, they negotiated with the bank several times. Currently, there are 859. The students signed a contract with the bank. The bank promised to release the quota before the Spring Festival. At the same time, it strengthened the management of the loan students. Before the loan was issued, the students who applied for the loan held two honest education reports.

The second is work-study work. In this issue, we actively cooperated with the Suspension Center to provide 1,152 job-study positions for poor students, and paid wages of 450,000 yuan, and formulated the “Working and Studying Methods for Work-study”.

6. Strengthen the daily maintenance management of student residences.

In order to make the daily maintenance of the student dormitory in place, the daily maintenance program was developed together with the colleagues in the office, and the maintenance situation was checked to ensure the reasonable use of maintenance funds. For example, in November, more than 100 daily maintenance of student residences in three campuses, the cost is as small as a few yuan, up to hundreds of yuan, totaling more than 20,000 yuan maintenance costs, I will review each maintenance one by one, for the existence of The problem was promptly fed back to the Logistics Infrastructure Department. Although the workload was large, the management and use of daily maintenance fees were strengthened.

7. Try our best to do mental health education for our students.

In the absence of staff, I and my colleagues worked hard to do a good job in the mental health education of college students, set up a psychological counseling room in three campuses, and personally participate in the psychological guidance of graduate employment. At the same time, organize teachers to conduct new students. Comprehensive psychological survey, established a new mental health record, conducted a variety of lectures to strengthen publicity, so that mental health knowledge is popularized.

8. Grasp the daily management of students in a down-to-earth manner.

In order to do a good job in my job, I often go deep into the department, the community to understand the situation, solve various problems, and physically lead the students to run the teacher to check the situation of the students returning to the house and renting the house. Every dormitory should be checked, every time it is about 1:00, especially the teacher of the new campus, there is no car to go home, the time is too late, they all go to the intersection, and then go home by car. They didn't complain, and they didn't get a penny for overtime. These all reflect the good qualities of the teachers, which made me very moved. Thanks to the joint efforts of the teachers, the student management work has made great progress.

The above is the basic situation of my thoughts and work, and I need to redouble my efforts in the future work.
