I have been the Chairman of the Computer Science Student Association since September xx. The main work of the Computer Science and Technology Association includes the organization of ACM, computer knowledge and skills competition and other traditional intra-school science and technology competitions, organized to participate in the Challenge Cup and other school-level science and technology events, promotion department The development of internal science and technology activities and the communication between students and teachers in teaching. At the same time, it is also responsible for the daily maintenance of the 9th building and the surrounding dormitory network.

After the recruitment of the Science and Technology Association in October xx, there were a total of 45 members, mainly class 0 students, mainly responsible for the class 9 students, as shown in the following figure:

Among them, the technical department is currently the largest number of departments, on the one hand, the collaborative network management team provides technical support for the network construction of Building 9, on the other hand, the platform development of computer knowledge and skills competition and a considerable number of website production.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs is responsible for the internal relations between the Association and the teaching of the teachers and students in the department. Internal construction includes lectures within the department, internal party and sports activities of the Association.

The Outreach Department is responsible for the promotion of several major events and some technical lectures.

The main task of the network management team is to maintain the network of Building 9, including BBS and FTP, HTTP services, and hardware maintenance. The current Association of Science and Technology, the network management team leader is also the vice chairman of technology.

Under the joint efforts of the Science and Technology Association, several work of this session of the Association was successfully completed.

In September 2001, he began preparations for the Tsinghua University Programming Competition and held the final on October 20. There were 36 teams and 108 students participated in the competition. Among them, there were 22 teams in the Information School and 14 teams in the non-information college. The competition process was relatively smooth, regardless of whether the professional team or the non-professional team showed a high standard, especially the non-professional team composed of non-information college students. Compared with the previous two years, the progress was very obvious. This event is very good for popularizing the knowledge of programming. In the future, the Association will further strengthen this work.

From September 2001, the team began preparations for the 6th Computer Knowledge and Skills Competition. This competition used the previous AI program confrontation mode with the theme of Snake. After two semester, nearly half a year of preliminary preparation and publicity, on the morning of March 31, the preliminary test of the competition was held in the Intel Lab of the East Main Building. After the competition, 8 players were selected to participate in the finals, including the professional group and 4 non-professional groups. On the evening of April 14, the final was held in 5th. In the end, Wenkai, a student of Science 02, won the championship of this competition, and Liu Xu, who was in 2004, won the runner-up. Teacher Yang Shiqiang, deputy head of the Department of Computer Science, and Xu Bin, deputy secretary of the Party Committee, and other leaders attended the meeting.

At the beginning of March 2002, the preparations for the 20th Challenge Cup began. Due to the lateness of the Challenge Cup form this year, all departments are facing difficulties in time. The Science and Technology Association has fully exerted its subjective initiative and actively strives for various projects. With the support of teachers and classmates in the department, 26 works were collected through the efforts of science and technology. On March 30th, the first evaluation in the department was held, and 12 works were selected to represent the computer department to participate in this challenge cup. From April 27th to 29th, the Challenge Cup Technology Exhibition and the Challenge Cup Competition were held in the General Gymnasium. The Association has invested a lot of energy and successfully completed the exhibition and evaluation of the Challenge Cup with the support of the teachers and students. In the results of the Challenge Cup Science and Technology Competition just announced, the Department of Computer Science won one first prize, two second prizes, one third prize and one innovation prize. The total score is ranked first in each department.

In normal times, the Association for Science and Technology will also put a lot of energy into the daily maintenance of the No. 9 building network, and actively strengthen the connection between students and teachers in teaching, and have been affirmed among the students. Through the organization and organization of a series of lectures, the development of science and technology activities in the computer science department was promoted.
