In the work, we always insist on accepting the supervision of the National People's Congress as a prerequisite and guarantee for doing our job well. I have personally supervised the proposals, opinions and suggestions put forward by the NPC for the handling and supervision of the NPC, and the suggestions and opinions put forward by the NPC deputies during the NPC session and the letters and visits. At the same time, part of the time is taken every year to visit NPC deputies, listen to their opinions and suggestions on the unit and my personal, and constantly improve the work. Since I took office, I directly or indirectly supervised 13 suggestions and opinions of NPC deputies, received 116 letters and visits from the people, and mediated 34 environmental pollution disputes, and implemented everything and responded.
Second, carry out urban construction, urban management and environmental protection work in a solid manner, continuously accelerate the process of urbanization, continuously improve the level of urban construction, and comprehensively promote the standardized management of the construction market. In the past two years, in accordance with the requirements of high standards, my colleagues and I actively cooperated with the district. The commissions, district governments, and relevant departments and units of the city and district directly or indirectly participated in the construction and coordination of Nancheng District and successfully completed various urban construction tasks. In the construction market management, in accordance with the concept of standardized management and stylized operation, simplify the procedures, implement the separation of fees and management, and create a good development environment for the economic development of the whole region. At the same time, further standardize the qualification examination, quality, safe production management and floating population management of construction enterprises, and construction enterprises, project managers and employees who do not have qualifications shall not be allowed to enter or work. In the project quality management, the quality supervision is carried out in strict accordance with the construction procedure, and no construction project quality accident occurs. In the safety production management, we carried out the safety production month activities in a solid manner. The safety production of construction projects in the whole district was basically up to standard, the safety awareness of construction workers was generally enhanced, and the safety production coefficient was steadily improved. The construction rate of construction enterprises under construction in the whole district reached 98%, and the construction market The fatality rate of safety accidents is less than 0.5‰ per year. Continue to improve the city's management functions, and strive to improve the quality of law enforcement personnel. First, grasp the propaganda and education, and do what it takes. The district has completed 26 buried installations and added 600 tons of sewage treatment capacity per day, exceeding the task of the municipal bureau. I have always included investment promotion and industrial projects into the important agenda of the whole year, and widely launched cadres. Workers use all opportunities to attract investment, and the network and work pattern of investment promotion are basically formed. In 2001, the investment evaluation score was 99.8 points. In 2002, the bureau was rated as “the winner of the economic target assessment of the whole district” and the “advanced unit for attracting investment” by the district committee and the district government. In 2003, investment promotion and the introduction of industrial projects also had certain results.
In the past two years, I have worked with relevant comrades to concentrate on the handling of the remaining issues related to the demolition of the 207 National Road. So far, the demolition task has been basically completed, and the construction of the 207 National Highway has been completed on schedule.
For a long time, due to various reasons, there have been many problems left over from the history of our bureau, and the debt is relatively large. The debt of nearly 3 million yuan and the debtor of more than 100 creditors have always been my heart. Therefore, I always put stability and ensure the safety of one party. On the agenda, as the primary task, we have put the steady work in our hearts, in our arms, in our hands, and we have not shirked our duties. Faced with all kinds of creditors, "squatting on the table, kicking the stool", not paying contradictions, not intensifying contradictions, and patiently and meticulously resolving various contradictions at the grassroots level. Over the past year or so, through various channels, a total of 1.55 million yuan of debts have been resolved. Among them, the double star cabinet project debt of 720,000 yuan, Changchun Road project debt of 500,000 yuan, the bureau office building, family building debt of 142,000 yuan. In January 2002, some residents of Chengnan New District appealed to the municipal government to solve the problem of hardening the road in the community of “a sunny day, a gray body and a rainy day”.
