Years are like a shuttle, time flies. In a blink of an eye, this semester has come to an end, and the students have all invested in the intense final exam preparation. Looking back at the work done by the Association in this academic year, under the leadership of the Association of Reading Associations, under the hard work of all the readers and with the support of the library and associations, the reading associations read "good reading, reading good books, The purpose of the "Reader Service" is mainly to carry out the following activities.

In September 2019, we made some adjustments within the association and formulated the "Working System of the Readers' Association of Fujian Institute of Engineering". At the same time, we planned and prepared for Naxin in October.

On October 11th, 2019, the Cultural Square Readers Association Naxin, after a rigorous interview program, we absorbed a number of outstanding new members, which laid the foundation for our next activities.

At 2 pm on October 23, at the West Second Assisted Library, the "The Use of Tongfang Database" lecture was held for the fifth edition of the Library Reading Festival. The lecture was jointly undertaken by the Propaganda Department and the Organization Department.

The preparations for these two reading salons were insufficient, and there were fewer members and a single form. Reading Salon is a special activity of our association. It aims to provide a communication platform for all members, enhance the cohesiveness of the association, encourage members to read more books, read good books, and create a good atmosphere for reading and communication.

On November 12th (Wednesday) at 2:00 pm, the Association assisted the library in the Beijiao 6#204 to hold the “Chongjing Net Data Usage and Current Real Estate Status” of the Library's 5th Reading Festival series. On November 12th (Wednesday) at 7:00 pm, the Association held a lecture on the “Use of Wanfang Database” in the fifth edition of the Library Reading Festival at the University of Western Education. This lecture is the responsibility of the Propaganda Department and the Organization Department.

On November 15th, 2019, our association and the English Society conducted a networking event at 4#405. Through this networking, the exchanges and friendship between our two associations have been deepened, laying the foundation for better co-hosting of the 5th Chinese and English speech contest.

From October 25th to November 22nd, 2019, the Association and the English Society jointly hosted the 5th Challenge Cup Chinese and English Speech Contest with the theme of “Book Review and Reading Impression”. The competition was hosted by the library. The selection of two outstanding players was selected by the departmental elections in the departmental speech contest. The final was successfully held on the evening of November 22nd in Daquan Dongji. This contest showed the youth of our school. Grace and enrich the campus culture.

On the evening of November 29, 2019, at 7:00 pm, the Association held the third reading salon event and Thanksgiving theme event in the East.

At 7:00 pm on December 13, 2019, our association held this semester summary and commendation meeting in the 4#201 semester. At the conference, the vice president Lin Shanshan presided over. At the conference, we commended seven prominent members such as Huang Zongyi who were outstanding and active during the semester. At the same time, we have summarized the problems existing in the internal and various departments of the Association during the semester and the difficulties encountered in the development of the activities. By summarizing and learning from the lessons, we have further clarified the goals and positioning of our association.

In the development of the above activities, the main problems of our association are the following aspects:

1. In the process of activity development, there is a lack of good coordination and coordination between departments, and each department is more independent and independent.

2. The preparatory work for the activities was insufficient, and the publicity before and after the activities was insufficient.

3. The activities were not carried out in accordance with the established plan, making the plan too formal.

4. Some of the planned activities were suspended as shown in the book, the collection of the monograms, and the book fair because of insufficient preparation in the early stage and school policies.

The reading association does have the above problems, but the efforts of the Association to successfully organize the above activities and the efforts we all work together cannot be ignored or denied. We have seen that most of the members are more active and can participate actively. This is reflected in the attendance of the semester and the performance at work. Everyone hopes to improve themselves in the reading association, work hard with everyone, and contribute their own strength to the development of the Association and the campus culture. We have a lot of deficiencies, but we have many excellent members working together for the same dream. We believe that we will do better by carefully learning lessons.

The reading association is like a big ship that is driving at sea. We are gathered together on this big ship with the same dream. The big ship is now sailing towards a target.
