Instructed Nanning Songyan Trading Co., Ltd. to improve the “three defenses” facilities for smelting waste residue. Due to historical reasons, Nanning Songyan Trading Co., Ltd. has about 24,000 tons of smelting waste residue in the open air. These waste leaching solutions contain arsenic, mercury, zinc, cadmium and other components. Once these wastes flow into the Xinyi River or Minjiang River due to rain or other reasons, they will seriously pollute the first-grade drinking water source of the Minjiang River, causing arsenic, mercury and zinc. Heavy metal pollution of cadmium threatens the safety of drinking water in Nanning citizens. After the city environmental protection bureau handed over the company to the supervision of our city, the city government attached great importance to it. On the morning of August 17, the deputy head of the city’s official ancestor Lin led the relevant personnel to the site for investigation and research, and decided to build a metal shack on the spot.
