1. Since the SARS epidemic in XX, there have been major public health events closely related to the respiratory department. The h1n1 outbreak that began this year began in March and there are still no signs of improvement. In this protracted battle, our department undertook the heavy consultation tasks in the province, the city and the hospital, and successfully completed the investigation and treatment of the provincial, municipal and foreign-related h1n1 cases. Others also did a lot of work in obscurity. If they stayed up all night, they were on call, and they went to the front line to seriously investigate suspicious cases. Even in the middle of the night, suspicious patients need urgent investigation, and they took taxis at home. Come to the patient in time to get the patient to get the right treatment in time. At the same time, under the influence of h1n1, our department showed fewer personnel and heavy tasks, but still completed the medical work index for 2009.

2. This year, our department took the lead in launching a clinical study on the efficacy of systemic steroids in tuberculous pleurisy. It is also the first multi-center clinical study in the world.

3. Actively cooperate with the regular in-hospital case discussion activities carried out by the hospital. The department hosted and cooperated with the thoracic surgery to hold a case discussion for one time, which was well received by relevant parties.

4. Pay attention to the education and construction of medical ethics and other disciplines. Continue to repeatedly emphasize the importance and necessity of anti-commercial bribery in the conference, and educate everyone to self-discipline and obey the law in relevant cases reported by the media.

5. This year, the department has strengthened the popularization of science popularization, and published relevant science articles in newspapers and magazines for influential times such as international asthma day, copd day, smoking cessation day and World Tuberculosis Day, and conducted consultations on radio and newspapers.
