As a health education nurse work summary

As a full-time health education nurse, I feel that I should have the following qualities:

1. First of all, you should love the nursing profession. It is a prerequisite for health education to have a good professional ethics and nurse-patient relationship.

2. Have a high level of cultural accomplishment, language skills and writing skills.

3. Proficiency in operational skills is a guarantee of health education.

Under the careful guidance of the head of the department and the head nurse, with the patience of the nursing sisters, I was fortunate to be a full-time health education nurse in the department.

As we all know, the core of health education is to educate people to establish health awareness, to promote people to change unhealthy behavioral lifestyles, to develop good behavioral lifestyles, to reduce or eliminate risk factors that affect health. As a health education nurse in the ward, I think our responsibility is even more important. In addition to the above tasks, we also need to inform patients about more disease-related knowledge.

I have felt responsibility and pressure when I was preparing for health education. Especially at the beginning, I felt so tired and even had a little bit of energy. Health education has a lot of work, and it is cumbersome to prepare health education materials; because our department is a major in hematology and immunology. I am still familiar with the health education knowledge of the Department of Immunology, and I am still quite lacking in the health education knowledge of the Department of Hematology; in order to better explain the patients, I will collect relevant professional knowledge online after work. Sometimes a computer is next to the computer, and the hand is almost a "mouse hand". I know that only by studying hard, can we gain something.

I have been working in health education for more than two months. I think I still have a lot of deficiencies. I am just a health education nurse and I have a certain distance from a full-time health educator. In the future, I will continue to strengthen my studies, enrich myself, provide more updated knowledge to patients, and work hard to improve patients' health awareness and health.
