Telling job search skills: from being rejected to a monthly salary of 6,000 yuan

Before graduation, I had almost no strength. In general, the school is only an electronic project; the results are also poor. I have not received a scholarship in 4 years, and often make up the exam; except for the degree certificate and the four-level certificate, I have no other certificates. But I still "sell" myself, and is a well-known IT communication company in China, engaged in IT hardware development. And in addition to this work, I also got more than 6 offers. The students around me felt that this was impossible! Although there was a door interview that was still rejected, four words could describe my university for four years: a few years. It’s not that I don’t want to learn. I really don’t know how to learn, or even what to learn! Fortunately, I know that I’m planning for the rainy day. I started preparing for work in the first four years. In August 2002, I tried every means to get an interview opportunity through relatives, friends and other relationships. In the evening of the interview, I have been thinking about what I should say when I was interviewing. Because I know very well, if it is not recommended by a friend, I can't get this interview opportunity! After analyzing for a long time, I feel that my strengths are only good at expressing, but I am very guilty: I really didn't learn anything! Interview On that day, the technical manager asked: "Do you bring your resume? Your resume is on my computer, I didn't have time to read it." At that time, I thought: After the end, people didn't even look at my resume. It was a walk through the scene. I immediately handed the resume I had prepared to the manager who looked very capable. The manager asked: "Are you learning electronics?" I said, "Yes." The manager then said, "Then you should introduce your situation." So, I started the one so far, I don’t know how much I spent. Long time self introduction. This introduction lists all the advantages I can think of, up to my ability to adapt, to learn, to a social practice I have ever done. Finally, the manager took the initiative to interrupt my explanation. He said: "Like this, we just want to find a research and development staff. Do you talk about your experience in electrical engineering when you were at school?" All my thoughts have stopped. I have to tell the manager honestly that I have not done any projects, and I have a bit of sophistication: "You also know that schools generally teach textbooks." The manager saw I glanced and smiled and said, "Oh, that's it. If we need to try again later, then contact you." I understand that I lost this job. But I am still a student, I can't have work experience, because I have no experience, so I can't get the job. I am caught in a dilemma of a chicken or an egg. Is it that I am a dead end? The seniors pointed out that looking for employment once and chatting with a fellow who is engaged in IT work, I inadvertently told him the experience value of "chicken eggs or eggs and chickens". I said: "The employer must have work experience. It is difficult for our graduates to find a suitable job." The fellow said: "Your statement is not completely correct! I work in an IT company myself. I know this line clearly. The staff who do technology development sometimes have graduates, but at present, they want graduates who have done some projects in the undergraduate stage! Have you ever done some projects while studying, this is the key Where! The fellow said: "The employer is not interested in the so-called many certificates. He only cares a little: Have you ever done a project? He wants this, you give him this! The problem is actually very simple: first, decide In which R&D field you will be employed; then, write one or two real project cases in this field in your resume; and finally describe as little as possible what you have learned, what certificates, what social activities to attend, etc. The training flew to the OFFER countless me, and I went to a small R&D institution to start my three-month short-term study and training under the recommendation of the fellow. This organization is run by a group of "old hands" who have many years of experience in IT hardware development. It is specially designed for people who are eager to change their salary in the field of IT hardware development. It is still famous. This three-month training made me feel more than I did in college. I really understand that in the field of hardware development, if there is an experienced person to take you, you can at least take two years of detours. In December 2002, a new round of resume delivery was started. During the week, I received 11 interview calls. The core of all interviews revolved around the following questions: “Internship and project development experience during my school” on my resume, and the rest is the technical manager's repeated inquiry about the project I did. Since I really accepted the training on the project, my interview was very smooth. After my choice, I finally entered a well-known IT company in China, and I have enjoyed the salary of employees who have been working for one year during the trial period. My job search experience proved that I used 3 months of training to give myself the "experience" and easily jumped out of the "chicken egg or egg chicken" cycle. Facts have proved that opportunities always belong to those who are prepared, and only to those who rely on their own "thoughts" to circumvent obstacles!
