Our garden is located under the embankment of the Huangpi moat. Every year, parents bring children or children to take a bath in the river, which brings great hidden dangers to the safety of young children. Starting from the height of “safety first, prevention first”, kindergartens attach great importance to the organization and implementation of prevention of drowning education activities among primary and secondary school students, as a way to enhance children’s parents’ safety awareness, improve their self-protection ability, and do a good job in kindergarten safety management. An important measure is to pay close attention to it. The kindergarten thoroughly researched and analyzed the current situation of the prevention of drowning education in our school and the characteristics of the occurrence of children's drowning accidents. In combination with the actual work, we carefully formulated the activity work plan and targeted the prevention of drowning accidents and the improvement of self-protection awareness and ability. Publicize educational activities to effectively enhance children's safety awareness and self-protection.

2. Strengthen education and carry out activities

Xiahe swimming is the cause of the children's drowning incident. Kindergarten makes full use of classroom teaching, class meetings, group activities and other carriers. Through the teacher's explanation, watching the "Safety with Me" propaganda film, blackboard newspaper and other forms, the organization carefully carries out the prevention of drowning. Educational activities, efforts to enable the majority of young children and their parents to participate in the activities, establish a safety concept to prevent drowning, master relevant knowledge, and improve self-prevention ability. During the activity week, the following “five ones” activities were carried out:

Hold a class meeting. Let the children and their parents tell the danger zones and waters that are prone to drowning in our daily life, and launch the parents themselves to analyze how to prevent the occurrence of drowning.

A blackout newspaper to prevent drowning. With the theme of preventing drowning, the children and their parents should be informed about the basic common sense of preventing drowning; children are not allowed to swim freely without the parents or teachers, and they are not allowed to swim with their partners without permission to play in the moat.

And send a "To Parents Book." Strengthen the contact between kindergartens and parents, enhance parents' awareness of safety and the sense of responsibility of guardians, and inform parents of kindergarten admission, departure time and holidays, school start-up time, and matters to be observed by young children. Parents should be responsible for the safety management of young children.

5. Hang a banner that cherishes life and prevents drowning. Kindergartens hang banners and slogans at the entrance of the park to create a profound atmosphere of publicity and education in the park.

3. Strengthen supervision and conscientiously summarize

During the activity, the kindergartens supervised and evaluated the development of each class. In this way, the main class teachers were urged to strengthen management and earnestly carry out activities to ensure that the activities were solid and effective.
