The effectiveness of serving farmers is an inspection standard, which provides effective technical service support for farmers to continue to increase income and comprehensive development of the rural economy.

The corn planting area in Yanggao County is about 500,000 mu, accounting for 57% of the actual planting area of ​​the county's crops. In order to transform agricultural technology achievements into productive forces as soon as possible, we use our county as an opportunity for national agricultural technology extension demonstration counties, with farmers' professional cooperative economic organizations as carriers. Focus on the introduction of new varieties, the promotion of new technologies, and subsidies for new equipment. There are 360 ​​households in the village of Longbao Village, Yanshi Township, Yanggao County, with an agricultural population of 1,200. The existing cultivated land area of ​​the village is more than 7,000 mu, including 3,000 mu of irrigated land. Due to the vast land of the village, the farmers' cultivation methods have been extensive. The output of grain per mu has been smashed by about one kilogram. In order to guide farmers to change the way of planting, we seized the opportunity of our county to be a national demonstration county for agricultural technology promotion. With the professional cooperative economic organization of Longbao Village as a breakthrough, a demonstration base for high-yield corn production was established in the village.

Second, the basic situation of the base

Longbao Village Yingjie Planting Professional Cooperative is a planting professional cooperative mainly based on farmers. The registered capital is 60,000 yuan. The registered persons are Cao Yingjie, Cao Jianguo, Cao Jianzhong, Cao Wengui and Cao Maoqing. The person in charge of the base is Cao Yingjie. The corn demonstration base is located in the north of the village, and covers an area of ​​25 acres. In order to truly make the base a demonstration base for new varieties and new technologies, the County Agricultural Committee designated a special technical instructor Cao Ren. At the same time, special personnel are also appointed to communicate with the base in time to help the base solve problems in the production process.

Third, the technical measures and economic goals of the base

In order to give full play to the role of the typical guidance and demonstration of the demonstration base, we have divided six production links for the entire production process. 1. Preparation before sowing: seed selection, land preparation; 2. sowing; 3. planting; 4. water and fertilizer management; 5. pest control; 6. harvesting and storage. Through field investigations, people's meetings, and consulting experts, we have developed relevant technical measures for all aspects of production:

1. Soil testing and formula fertilization technology. Through soil testing, according to the law of crops requiring fertilizer, we timely supplemented the necessary elements for the farmland, and changed the blind fertilization of farmers in the past, relying on the feeling of fertilization.

2. Choose good varieties according to local conditions. In the past, farmers planted corn varieties were relatively simple, crop immunity was poor, and yields were not high, but farmers were reluctant to accept new varieties. After investigation, we recommended to the farmers the Yongyu No. 3 and Zhongyu No. 6 which are suitable for planting, high yield and stable production in our county.

3. Scientific fertilization. According to the higher fertility foundation of the water-maintaining water, the yield is higher and the effect of fertilization is higher. We are doing farmyard manure at the base, and weigh both NPK fertilizers and at the same time apply enough trace element zinc fertilizer.

Through the use of new varieties, with scientific management, increase the demonstration of new technologies, and strive to make the base corn yield reached 600 kg, an increase of 20% over the average annual yield per mu.

Fourth, base construction subsidies

The base has a clear demonstration effect and has a radiating effect on local and surrounding farmers. We took out 30,000 yuan to support the base, mainly for the introduction of new varieties, new technologies, subsidies for production materials, and scientific and technological training for villagers in the village of Longbao Village.
