This summer, I have been fortunate to come to the Tianjin Architectural Design Institute for ten internships. This is the place I dreamed of. As the best design institute in Tianjin and the top ten design units in the country, I am honored to be hard-won. The opportunity is cherished.
First, the first time, familiar with the workflow
After four years of study at the university, I think I have learned a lot about architecture. I have designed a lot of coursework during the school, and those things I feel when I come to the design institute are all fur. Looking at everyone so busy, I really want to go to help, to brave the courage, to help everyone, to work, have been rejected by everyone euphemistically, and later I know that the construction drawing period is tight, the drawing is complicated, for a new school The burdock is simply not competent. In the communication with the same room, I found that architectural design is a very large project. It is not something that can be done in a few pictures. Everyone plays their own light and heat in a certain link.
The general workflow of the building is as follows: investor investment - national review and approval - design institute to make the architectural plan - winning the bid - design institute to carry out the architectural design - construction department approval approval - construction unit construction - supervision unit to carry out Audit - construction completed - decoration company to carry out renovation - delivery - there are investors and real estate companies to buy and sell. In fact, each process is divided into several parts, each of which is responsible for some of them. The architectural design institute plays a leading role in the entire design process and is also a key part of the entire building. Familiar with the workflow, I was transferred to the project design team and started a new life.
Second, the architectural design
Today, with the booming construction industry, every architect is carrying forward a huge work task, carrying forward the "5+2", "white + black" work spirit, dedicating his youth for architectural design.
Architectural design is a complex process, and during these months of internships, I have been exposed to the design of several programs.
Just catching up with the unit has just one Langfang residential project, and it is Li Gong. My task is to complete all the supporting buildings in the whole project, including small buildings, kindergartens, commercial and other supporting facilities. I have been tested for my chance. I am very excited. I am under great pressure to face so many lives. Clear your mind and step by step. First design the national small, the national small in the school did not touch, all have to start from scratch, read the information book, check the norms, consider what function of the 24 classes of the national small, the area is how much, after two days of inspection, I List a menu, including classroom, office, laboratory, music, dance, art, multimedia, classroom, exhibition room, event room, bathroom, etc., as well as a football field, grandstand, sports equipment room. Combining these tasks has a rough table of area indicators. Function and area began to think about the layout, Li Gong has set the general building block, basically an L-shaped layout. The listed function table is arranged according to the area, favorable traffic organization, and the utilization ratio of each function. When designing the plane, the shape of the facade should also be considered, and the overall physical relationship and various problems are coming on the scene. After a day and night, the improvement was repeated. The building area with a total construction area of 13,100 square meters has been completed. I will give Li Gong a lot of suggestions. I will give you some guidance and tell me to draw sketches and compare more flowers. Later, two or three different layout planes were made, and the functions were recombined, and the design became more and more rational. After a week of repeated corrections and adjustments, the national small was basically completed. After this week's design, I realized a lot of problems. First of all, I admire Li Gong's design ability and my careful guidance. His smooth picture is the model for me to learn. Secondly, I also realize myself. The practical operation ability is limited, you should learn with humility, look at the design made by others, enrich yourself, improve your ability. Finally, architectural design is not a simple process, but functions, planes, elevations, shapes, and body relationships must pass. Repeatedly determined.
I thought that my design could be completed. Unexpectedly, the design of the real project is not something that the architect can do alone. There is also Party A and the Planning Bureau. After a round of reporting, it is revised again and again. Today, Party A will let you change it. Tomorrow, the Planning Bureau will let you change it. As an architect, you should find a balance between Party A, the Planning Bureau, and yourself. A plan must be passed by both parties. To make a plan can not only express one's own thoughts, but also enable all parties to achieve a satisfaction. Architects have a very important role in the overall design, to be able to carry on and off, but also to balance the needs of all aspects.
In the following days, I continued to work with Li Gong to design a Xinhua Middle School opposite the People's Park in Hexi District, Tianjin. The construction area is also about 10,000 square meters. Because of the tight land use, the design removes all kinds of rigid planning red lines. Except for some facilities, the last block is an L-shaped one. This program has been changed, about once a week, the plane function adjustment is basically the same, and the facade has three styles of architecture. Both the Planning Bureau and Party A have reported countless times, and the program has not been fixed until now.
The longer the design institute is, the real design requires the cooperation of the various units, and finally the overall goal can be achieved. The design phase of the project is the most consuming phase of human and material resources. It is necessary to go through repeated refinements, and perhaps change to change back to the original point, so we have to constantly try. Sometimes I feel that I will see the dawn immediately. Some places may not meet the requirements of the relevant units, and will be reworked. Everything starts from scratch. The design phase of the architectural plan is the most test of the willpower and endurance of the architect. As a small designer, I am struggling to move forward.
Third, the construction expansion design
Once the building plan is approved, the expansion design will begin immediately. If the scheme is a painting, then the expansion design is a painting for analysis and decomposition, and a small stroke to be accurately expressed, to be accurate to every millimeter. Now the design division has a clear division of labor. From the design of the project to the final construction drawing design, there are different teams to complete, each individual is a small screw. I did the design in the program group. There was a small business that I completed myself. Because the construction period was tight, the design industry fell to my head. This is a small public building, a main street façade and two side façades. The design phase is repeatedly refined, corrected and finalized. When I first contacted the beginning of the expansion, I didn’t know what to draw. I found the first picture of the previous unit’s painting. I looked at it in turn. In fact, to be honest, it’s always a low-key, and it’s quite simple when I look at it. Once I actually painted a picture, I found a lot of problems. I started to draw pictures and asked Li Gong if I didn't understand the place. The time for the initial design was very short, usually only about a week. Because when designing, the sketches are sketches, and some simple cad maps, so it is very difficult to expand, but I am still full of confidence, we must draw them. The beginning of the expansion is the beginning of the real implementation of the building, the impact on the layout of the plane, the column net, the column spacing, the wall and the opposite side must be considered, this stage undergoes a lot of minor adjustments, and finally the plane and facade are determined. When all this is done, I thought that I was done, and I gave it to a colleague with rich experience to expand the design. The problem came out again, involving the material, color, size of the window frame, etc., which I didn’t know before. problem. At that time, I suddenly collapsed. As a designer, I don’t know what the material is. I just gave it a color. When I encountered a problem, I asked Li Gong. After communication, I fixed all the problems. . There is still a certain gap in the real requirements of the first picture I have drawn. Because the time is tight, so the colleague took over the work. I was very moved. I didn’t sleep for a night. After the change, I played the next day. Figure, get this book, I first felt the power of the team.
After this expansion design, I have mastered a lot of professional knowledge, the height and width of doors and windows, the width and thickness of the door frame, the installation method of the glass curtain wall, the diameter of the column, the span of the beam and the ratio of thickness and width, etc. problem. I also realize that my knowledge is lacking. I am like a hungry lamb, a blank piece of paper, I need to describe it, learn with humility, constantly improve and constantly grow.
Fourth, construction drawing design
The construction drawing is a pattern used in construction engineering, which can accurately express the outline, size, structure and material practices of the building. It is the basis for building construction.
Now the design mode of the design institute, it is rare to draw the construction drawing during the internship. Fortunately, one project was very tight, I started the project and drew the construction drawing. On the 15th place of Tianjin Zhongxin Ecological City, first familiar with the expansion plan of the plan, the residential plane, and then facing the detailed view of the node, I still can't read it over and over again, and ask Li Gong for help. Li Gong let me build one myself. The sketchup model is used for auxiliary understanding, a detailed door and window sample, and several sections are repeatedly cut for comparison, observation, and analysis. Finally, we finally understand what each line represents. The plane has lines, window sill lines, and window frames. Line, glass, the color of each line is different, there are cut lines on the section and so on. After sufficient preliminary preparations, the three planes of the three buildings were drawn on Monday, and the communication with the structural design was continuously carried out during the drawing process. The position of the shear wall was adjusted, the distance of the deformation joints, etc., and the plumbing Professional people communicate, through continuous coordination, the construction drawing is improved step by step. There is a small problem in the last simple illustration frame. I won't go into details here. The construction drawing is a very complicated process, and every step must be done carefully.
V. Summary
Through this half-year internship, I went out of school and entered the society. I learned a lot. This half-year internship has perfected my knowledge structure system. The combination of theory and practice has enabled me to make rapid progress in the professional field and laid the foundation for my future work. Part 2: Design Institute Internship ReportUnderstanding the architectural design process “Get a plan, you have to know where the program base is, what is the environment?”
This is what Mr. Ding, the product development department of our company, said. Ding is responsible for the day-to-day affairs of the entire company and is responsible for the creation of architectural design solutions. He likes to be with employees, especially our interns. The interns have come and gone, but his personality remains the same, that is, he likes to work with interns to do programs and discuss programs. Whenever a new design task comes over, he will let our intern work alone and he will comment. At the same time he will also make a plan and then communicate together. The design of each project can be said to be a long process, or a short process. In the long run, if you encounter a large residential area, hundreds of thousands of square meters of the community, built in stages, at least one or two years. For a short period of time, such as some bids, or some commissioned design, it will be a week or two, or even a day or two. But whether it is a large community, a small bid, or a commissioned design, there will always be a design start, and there will be a design end.
The boss said that if you get a plan, you must know where the program base is. What is the environment? In fact, he is talking about the preliminary work of the plan. The preliminary work of the program is the basis of the entire design. At this stage, a large amount of information and materials are needed, and a comprehensive understanding of the plan is required. Generally speaking, each program has a design task book commissioned by Party A. The information contained in this task book is the starting point of the entire design process. But it is certainly not enough to rely on the contents of this task book, so it is necessary to deepen the content of the task book. This process is actually the formation process of the most original plan, because the deepening of the task book is also the entire program. Make a preliminary answer to the problem to be solved. Therefore, the pre-construction work is not just as easy as collecting information. The work that needs to be done in the early stage is probably the analysis of the program base, the analysis of the entire environment around the base, the starting point of the design, and the problems that need to be solved in the design. In this process, the data collection difficulties may be encountered. If necessary, you need to go to the scene to observe, take pictures, and then summarize the data. Usually, this process will be summarized in the form of a preliminary report, and then communicated and discussed with colleagues. Through communication, discover new problems and then solve the problem in the next step of the project design. Then there is the design process of the program. This is a key process for the formation of the program. Perhaps the initial plan is just thinking, but this stage requires us to move our brains and show the program. Hand-drawn sketches are necessary and one of the most direct and convenient expressions. At this time, the boss will not bother us and will let us play freely. After the sketching process, there will be another round of exchange meetings, and a brief review of each plan will be made to find a breakthrough point in the design. But this is not the final solution. The program process is long, and it may be necessary to wait until the construction drawings or even the construction drawings. The design of the program has a process of continuous repetitiveness. Even so, the final solution is not the most perfect, but only the most appropriate. In the preliminary design of the program, computers, manual models and other tools may be used to devise the solution. The model is a good performance tool, which is a lot when I used the company I worked in. Almost every program has a model, and some programs even have several models. In the design process, some practical solutions will be formed. The company generally forms a slideshow file that is convenient for everyone to discuss and summarize. The solution formed after this has already been feasible, but it needs to be deepened. The deepening plan will form a program text. This text can be used for more Party A communication, or internal company communication. But this is still the initial design process. Then there is the process of deepening the plan. The deepening process of the program means that the plan is basically settled, and the construction drawing can be designed. The construction drawing design of the company internship in our institute is carried out by people with different design schemes. The rationality of such arrangements is open to question. Although it is carried out by different people, as long as there is team awareness, it can generally be completed smoothly. In this way, a general solution design process is also the case. During my internship at the company, I also listened to a design return. The company’s CEO, Mr. Chen, summed up a plan that has been designed. That is to say, for each of the already designed schemes, it is necessary to re-filter once in the head to summarize the foot and the deficiencies in the plan in time so as to make fewer mistakes in the future design work. Sometimes the design of the program is often repeated because of Party A's opinion. In China's construction industry, Party A even exceeds the architect's overall control over the building plan. Therefore, the program is often not completed in two rounds, and sometimes it will be done many rounds. What's more, after doing a lot of rounds, Party A took out a set of pictures and said that it would be done according to the set of pictures. Therefore, the process of architectural design is not a straight-line development process, and some are a process of twists and turns that can be followed, full of repetition, full of negation. We must ensure that the final result is clear and clear.
Understanding of professional division of labor and cooperation

The entire architectural design process is not a simple process, including the division of labor between the interior of the building, as well as the cooperation between the Ministry of Construction and other departments. The design process and construction drawing design process of my company is undertaken by different people. The company is divided into four architectural design teams, each of which has two responsible for the construction drawing design. But recently, the company's new regulations are that the person responsible for the construction drawing should also participate in the design of the plan when necessary, and the plan designer should also participate in the drawing of the construction drawing. Learn from each other and infiltrate each other. In addition to the division of labor within the group, the Ministry of Construction also has close cooperation with the Ministry of Landscape, Structure, Equipment, Heating, and Electrical. The cooperation with the Ministry of Landscape is mainly the site greening landscape design part of the architectural design of the project stage. Sometimes the program is urgent, and this part of the work is handed over to the landscape staff. Such results have also achieved good results, and there are no effects. Sometimes, the green space designed by the landscape department has to be changed through the construction department, or simply abandoned, resulting in waste of resources.
Cooperation with other departments is also very close. A mature project includes not only architectural design, but also other structural design, equipment design, electrical design and so on. These designs sometimes bind the design and require the architect to take it seriously. During my internship, people who had seen the structural department came over to communicate with the people in the construction department and adjust the architectural design. My roommate is engaged in building electrical. I talked to him about building electrical affairs. He said that if the map of the building is accurate, it is very easy to get them to them, and there is no need to change the layers. Therefore, the final result is often not the result of personal efforts, but the result of the joint efforts of the entire company. But after all, it is still necessary to return to the profession, to perform their duties, to do their own professional problems, the entire design process will be less detours. There is a special phenomenon in the Chinese construction industry, that is, the problems that should be considered in the overall architectural design are refined in layers. There are many outsourcing companies that are responsible for one of the architectural designs. For example, the effect chart company, specializing in renderings, architectural animation or something, should also have a sense of cooperation with them. There is also a clear division of labor within the design team. Each designer has his own strengths. For example, if he has a good picture, then he will be responsible for the overall design of the drawing in the design. If he has a strong capacity, then he is designing. In terms of the size of the apartment, there is also a prominent styling ability, which is more important when sharing the façade. However, if the division of labor is too obvious, it will also cause waste of human resources. Duangong said that when the company didn't have a group last year, when a project came in, everyone was divided, and the general manager was responsible for the general level. Responsible for the facade, it is really fast, but the personal quality of the architect is reduced. Therefore, the comprehensive professional quality of the individual and the comprehensive professional knowledge are particularly important, that is to say, to be a comprehensive architect.
Understanding of architectural design methods

There are many differences between the architecture student's coursework and the actual architectural design work, and one of the biggest differences is the reality, that is, to solve the practical problems. Of course, for an undergraduate student who has just graduated from school, there is still a lot to learn. The architectural design method is not static, nor is it customary. Each architectural designer has different life stages, and different life experiences will have an impact on the architectural design, which will be reflected in the architectural design. Entering the design institute, we have to deal with many relationships, designers, customers, users, and legislators. These people have formed some external and internal constraints, basic constraints, formal constraints, and The constraints of practical problems are also symbolic constraints. All kinds of constraints are directed toward the architectural design itself. What a professional architect faces is balancing the relationship between these constraints. Here, the designer refers to ourselves, the architects who look at them with a professional eye. The customer is generally Party A, and the investor does not necessarily end up living in the house. And the user is the one who finally enjoys the house.

During the four-month internship period, I further understood the profound connotation of architecture, from the theoretical level of writing to The new height of the actual combination, at the same time, the requirements of the specific design process, plan, elevation, section and renderings have a deeper understanding, the concept of space is gradually clear, and a new positioning for the future, I believe this internship experience will play an irreplaceable role in my future architectural design career. The following is my experience and experience.
On the first day of the internship, when I came to the design institute, I looked at the new colleagues who would accompany me for four months of internship, looking around at the new environment that was totally different from the school, looking at the stack of drawings on the desk. And the results on the wall, the mood is too much to describe, it is not overwhelming, the strong impulse to express my heart, I made up my mind to use this as a new battlefield for life, to take a good step in life, to prove myself, Beyond self.
When I first came, the director gave me a teacher. His name is Wang Wei. Since I moved to the computer myself, the design that I usually do at school is stored in the computer. In the days that followed, he was my instructor.
In the first two weeks of this, I don’t know what to do, I can’t insert anything, just look here, go shopping there, sometimes read a book, look at other people’s drawings, and find something for yourself. After two weeks, the Wang engineer in the company finally pointed me to the road. He told me some simple requirements. Let me use CAD software to draw a two-story floor plan and elevation of the office building. Finally, there is something to do. So, I started to make a picture. To be honest, I used to draw pictures when I was at school. The speed and quality were relatively high, but when I finished it at a very fast speed, Wang Gong pointed out a lot of normative deficiencies, and then he patiently told I designed the process and design specifications for different building types.
First of all, it is an understanding of the entire process of the building. After a general understanding of these aspects, we did the actual operation - drawing. The program used for drawing is AUTO CAD--computer-aided design. The program has two-dimensional, three-dimensional drawing capabilities. The work I did was a two-dimensional drawing of the building's flat, vertical, and sectioned sections. To draw, you must first understand the function, and then familiarize yourself with the usage of each tool. There are also steps when drawing: axis--wall line--doors and windows--stairs--in-house layout--marking. Also modify while drawing. I just started to draw some simple floor plans and learn to use shortcut keys to make drawings. In the process of drawing, I also encountered some difficulties, such as the intersection of arc and line, the closing of the figure, the drawing of the stairs, and often made mistakes during these times, affecting the next operation. In these operations, you need to be careful and patience to modify.
In the days to come, I entered the mode of going to work, helping others to do some small work, and also involved in the design of several small programs, but my design is generally not used, because my plan is still in the intersection of reality and ideal. That is, it is not combined with reality, but this can exercise my thinking and accumulate more experience to pave the way for the future. The design of the scheme is a long process. The release of a good plan requires more thinking and more experience. Backed up, and I am a student who has just come out of school, is not so familiar with everything, this has learned from practice.
In the office as an intern, what little work is done, it can be said that there will be a senior to tell you to do it, sometimes give someone a plan to call you to draw the facade and profile, are designed, such It is not easy to live, it also needs to develop brain resources and full imagination, and there are many modifications to be prepared. Good solutions are completed in many revisions, and I am no exception. Sometimes someone gives you a community to let you use PS, this is a common thing, so learning PS is also a top priority. In the course of this internship, the level of PS has also been improved, the key is to learn and ask, no There are experts in the meeting, most of them are elites. In our company, 3D is not commonly used. Generally, the renderings are all obtained by the rendering company. Most people use SketchUp to draw the renderings to express them, so it will not be 3D, but it must be SketchUp
This is also a form of program expression. These are all means of drawing, and they are indispensable. If you want to improve your self-cultivation, the key is to learn from time to time. There are many books in our design institute. When there is nothing to do, we use books to improve ourselves. In short, we learn something. Just fine.
In the process of internship, in addition to practicing the theoretical knowledge learned, we must also learn to deal with the relationship between people. In a real society, complicated interpersonal interests are like a network of people, connecting everyone in this society, and when you can continue to expand this network and keep it in good condition. There is a foundation and a development opportunity in the society. Maybe we don't have to think about this relationship too complicated and overly important. After all, we just got out of school. It takes a certain amount of time to build up and precipitate. Due to the short time of this internship, there is not much time for me to have a detailed exchange with colleagues in the design institute. Generally, I can only grasp the chat to promote understanding during the daily eating process.
In addition, during my internship, there were two opportunities for dinner and a group of outdoor activities. I also participated actively, which will increase my communication with my colleagues. I was able to recognize a group of designers in a short period of time. I believe this is a valuable interpersonal resource I gained during my internship. But I am not active enough in communication and the limited nature of their communication. Part of the failure lessons in the internship process.
Six, internship experience
In fact, four months later, I found that my university’s four-year knowledge was too little and too little. Professional knowledge only touched a fur. I suddenly found my future, my hopes, and I have to dawn... I have to work hard. Study, in the year before graduation, I want to make up, enrich every day, every day has new gains, and every day has progress!
During the period of designing the institute, I will fully understand and understand more. Through indirect communication with other colleagues, indirect understanding of some aspects of the norms and control regulations, previously only theoretical research, now in the design institute through the drawings, the actual project to contact, do not have a taste!
Overall, I feel that this internship at the Design Institute is quite satisfactory. First of all, this internship met the minimum requirements I set for myself: a preliminary understanding of the design and workflow of the design institute, the working environment, the daily work of the designer, and the recognition of some architects and designers engaged in design work. and many more. Secondly, I also improved my level of application of computer graphics software, and learned some graphics software that I have never learned before. In addition, during the process of refining the drawings, I have deepened my understanding of the design. However, there are still many places that I feel dissatisfied: I am not active enough in daily communication, which causes difficulties in my work. In addition, my computer software has a limited level of operation, and I often encounter considerable problems in my work. Difficulty...
