Measurement is also an accurate job, and through the study of learning and internships, a basic measurement profile is formed in my mind. First of all, I am familiar with the use of level and optical theodolites, I have mastered the use of levelers, and mastered the methods of inspection and calibration of instruments. Secondly, in the process of checking and correcting data, I have understood the sources of various measurement errors. There are three main aspects: instrument error, external influence error, and observation error. Through engineering practice, I learned the things that can't be done in the classroom, such as the drawing of digital topographic maps and the measurement of broken steps, which greatly improved the ability of hands-on and brain-moving, and also expanded the ability of communication with classmates. Once a measurement internship is completed, it is not enough to rely solely on the strength and concept of a person. For more than a week, we have been adhering to our own "positions", observing, recording, calculating, and drawing... We work together to achieve better tasks. In the measurement process, we encountered many problems and problems:

When setting up the ruler, the ruler must be selected in an important place. Therefore, the selection of points is very important. At the same time, the more Philippine points are, the better. On the contrary, the excessive useless points will not only increase the time waste of measurement, calculation and drawing, but also cause large errors due to many points.

Calculate the problem. The calculation must be done by two people, a preliminary calculation, and a check. In the process, we also encountered similar problems, but we constantly calculated the correct data in the repeated test, and minimized the occurrence of errors.

We learned a lot of things during this internship. Measurement is first and foremost a precise work. Through the study of measurement in the classroom during school, I have formed a basic, theoretical measurement profile in my mind. In essence, the main task of metrology is to determine the position of the ground target in three dimensions and the change with time. In the information society, the role of metrology is increasingly important. Measurement results, as the basis of the Earth's information system, provide the most basic spatial location information. The construction of information highways, basic geographic information systems, and various thematic and professional geographic information systems are all urgently required to establish a measurement database and measurement results information system with uniform standards and sharing. Therefore, measurement is the most reliable and accurate means of acquiring and updating basic geographic information. There are many types of surveying, such as general surveying, geodesy, photogrammetry, and engineering surveying. As a student of the Department of Architectural Engineering, we have to learn all aspects of measurement. The foundation of surveying and mapping is the basis of these expertise.

Through this training, I learned that it is not enough to rely on the strength and concept of a person to complete a measurement internship. It is impossible to do the work to be done. Only the cooperation and solidarity of all the members of the group can make the internship complete quickly and efficiently. In addition, this measurement internship also cultivated the ability of our team to work together, enhanced the feelings between the students, deepened the friendship, and connected some of the original "strangers" closer. Of course, I believe that the other purpose of the school to let us train is to let each of our students have a deeper understanding of how to use the total station and level. And it is possible to complete a job alone, and then rotate after the corresponding exercise effect to achieve the purpose of joint development, instead of simply grabbing the time, rushing to the progress, and rushing to work, at this point our group is doing very well. Seriously, each team member conducts independent observations and records each station. The total station measurement is performed on the spot, and the problem is solved in time. There is no check on the previous step, and the next measurement is never taken. From this internship, I summed up a few points to avoid large errors, such as:

When we learn from the experience of our group of students in exchange measurement, everyone feels that there are many gains. Some say that the exhibition point of the instrument is very important, because it is related to the error. The winter days are dark early, so we must make full use of the daytime until it is too dark to see at night. Once a measurement internship is completed, it is not enough to rely solely on one's strength and thinking. Each of our team members learned the knowledge and actually operated it, instead of grabbing the time, rushing to the progress, and rushing to work. We know that what we need to do in engineering is to be careful and rigorous.

Through this internship, I also summed up some things that should be paid attention to when measuring. The ruler should be straight and try to avoid shaking.
