Corporate Group Internship Report Model
First, the internship overview
On November 2, 2019, we started our two-week internship. Under the leadership of our teachers, we visited the Baotou Steel Group and gained a lot.
Baotou Steel is an important steel industry base in China and the largest rare earth production and research base in China. It is the largest industrial enterprise in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Established in 1954, restructured into a company in 1998. The company is headquartered in Hexi Industrial Zone, Baotou City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The central factory covers an area of 36 square kilometers. Baotou Steel owns two listed companies, namely Baotou Steel Co., Ltd. and Baotou Steel Rare Earth. In 2019, Baotou Steel's economic aggregate and major technical and economic indicators reached the best level in history. The sales revenue exceeded 40 billion yuan for the first time, reaching 43.264 billion yuan, an increase of more than 10 billion yuan, an increase of 31.7%; steel output reached 9.839 million. Baotou Steel has a unique resource advantage. Baotou Steel Bayou Obo Mine is a multi-element symbiotic mine with iron and rare earths. It is the largest iron ore deposit in the northwestern region. The rare earth reserves rank first in the world, and the reserves of strontium rank second in the world. Baotou is also due to the Bayan Obo mine. Known as "the world's rare earth capital."
Baotou Steel has entered the ranks of China's 10 million-ton steel enterprises. It has cold and hot rolled sheet and wide and thick plate, seamless steel pipe, heavy rail and large material and wire rod production line with international and domestic advanced level. It is one of the main steel rail production bases in China and has the most complete seamless steel pipe production base. One of the largest thin plate production bases in the Northwest.
Baotou Steel's rare earth industry plays an important role at home and abroad. The total amount of rare earth oxides accounts for more than 40% of the national market share. The production capacity of functional materials such as NdFeB, anode powder and polishing powder accounts for more than 20% of the national market share, and rare earth metal bismuth accounts for 30% of the national market share. It has China's authoritative rare earth scientific research institution - Baotou Steel Rare Earth Research Institute, "Ruike Rare Earth Metallurgy and Functional Materials National Engineering Center", once for the US Discovery Space Shuttle Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer, China's "Shenzhou" spacecraft launch vehicle and "嫦娥The No. 1 launch vehicle provides important magnetic materials.
Baotou Steel has always been committed to scientific and technological progress and independent innovation. The two technical achievements in the field of csp and high-speed rail have won the second prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award. It is the first CSG technology training base in Asia and the second csp technology training base in the world. It is the only grinding machine training center of Italy pomini company in China. The production, management and seamless pipe production technology of thin plates are realized for foreign export.

The series products are well known both at home and abroad.

Baotou Steel always saves resources and protects the environment with a high sense of social responsibility. It is the first in the industry to achieve blast furnace dry-cleaning and take the lead in building a national demonstration eco-industrial park. It is listed as one of the first pilot units of circular economy in China, and it is the first in China's XX annual evaluation of “China's Energy Green Enterprise 50”. Baotou Steel ranked first.
Baotou Steel adheres to the enterprise spirit of “Toughness, Beyond Self”, and the “Eleventh Five-Year Plan” has achieved sales revenue and total assets worth US$10 billion. Second, the internship content
1. Baotou Steelmaking Plant
On November 5th we visited the steel mill. Baotou Steelmaking Plant is one of the important secondary plants under Baotou Steel. It not only produces steels for various markets, but also undertakes the task of providing raw billets for other secondary mines in Baotou Steel.
After entering the factory, we saw two large converters on the stairs. There are two 210-ton converters in Baotou Steel. The 210-converter steelmaking project is the key construction project of the National “Ninth Five-Year Plan”. It is a thin slab continuous casting and rolling project of Baotou Steel. The supporting project, which undertakes the task of providing high-quality molten steel for the new thin slab continuous casting and rolling production line of Baotou Steel. According to reports, the converter equipment used in the project was introduced in 1994 by Shougang for the construction of Shandong Qilu Iron and Steel Company. It was transferred to Baotou Steel due to the cancellation of the Shandong project. Baotou Steel Converter is a set of high-tech converter equipment. The dry dust removal project of Baotou Steel Converter has obvious energy-saving and environmental protection effects, which has made Baotou Steel's circular economy construction take a new step. When Baotou Steel Sheet Plant was completed and put into production, the dust removal method of steelmaking process adopts wet dust removal. With the international steel industry, the environmental awareness of enterprises is enhanced, the weak energy consumption of wet dust removal and environmental protection effects are gradually exposed, and gradually Replaced by mature dry dust removal technology.
Baotou Steelmaking Plant was established in 1954. It was originally introduced by experts and technology from the former Soviet Union. It has three open hearth furnaces and three converters. At the end of XX, the plant stopped the last open hearth steelmaking and dismantled all the open hearths three years ago, all using converter steelmaking. There are now 7 converters. 5 continuous casting machines. The main steel products are: steel for heavy rail and steel for oil casing. The main cast steel billets include: blooms, large round billets, billets, small round billets, and molten steel casting methods. In addition to continuous casting, partial casting is also used according to customers or actual needs. The principle of steelmaking is to remove excess carbon and other impurities contained in the pig iron into gas or slag by using oxygen or iron oxide under high temperature conditions. The essence of smelting pig iron into steel is to appropriately reduce the carbon content in the pig iron, remove most of the harmful impurities such as sulfur and phosphorus, and adjust the content of alloying elements in the steel to within the specified range. The main reaction principle of steelmaking is also to use a redox reaction to oxidize excess carbon and other impurities in the pig iron into gas or slag at high temperatures. Therefore, although both steelmaking and ironmaking use redox reactions, ironmaking mainly uses reducing agents to reduce iron from iron ore, while steelmaking mainly uses oxidants to remove excessive carbon and other impurities from pig iron. It is removed by oxidation.
The process of the steel making process is roughly as follows:
Early stage: iron ore → ore → ironmaking
Steelmaking: hot metal → steel mill → smelting → molten steel → pouring → billet
Converter steelmaking method: The oxidant used in this steelmaking process is oxygen. The air is blown into the molten pig iron to oxidize impurities such as cerium and manganese. A large amount of heat is released during the oxidation process to achieve a sufficiently high temperature in the furnace. Therefore, converter steelmaking does not require additional fuel.
Converter steelmaking is carried out in a converter. The shape of the converter is like a pear. There are refractory bricks on the inner wall. There are many small holes on the furnace side. Compressed air is blown from these small holes, also called the side blow converter. Initially, the converter was level, injecting 1300 degrees Celsius of liquid pig iron inward, adding a certain amount of quicklime, then blasting the air and turning the converter to erect it. At this time, the surface of the liquid pig iron reacts violently, and iron, bismuth, and manganese are oxidized to form slag, and the convection of the molten steel and the slag is utilized to cause the reaction to spread throughout the furnace. After a few minutes, when only a small amount of lanthanum and manganese remained in the molten steel, the carbon began to oxidize, and carbon monoxide was formed to cause the molten steel to boil vigorously. The furnace mouth has a huge flame due to the burning of the overflowing carbon monoxide. Finally, phosphorus also oxidizes and further produces ferrous phosphate. The ferrous phosphate is then reacted with quicklime to form stable calcium phosphate and calcium sulfide, which together become slag. When phosphorus is gradually reduced in sulfur, the flame is retreated, and brown steam of triiron tetroxide appears at the mouth of the furnace, it indicates that the steel has been refined. At this time, the blast should be stopped immediately, and the converter should be turned to a horizontal position, the molten steel should be poured into the ladle, and deoxidizer should be added for deoxidation. The whole process takes only about 15 minutes. If the air is blown in from the furnace, it is a low-blowing converter. With the development of oxygen technology, oxygen top-blown converters are now widely used. This type of converter is blown by high-pressure industrial pure oxygen, and the reaction is more intense, which can further improve production efficiency and steel quality.
2, Baotou Steel Bar Factory
On November 6th we visited Baotou Steel Bar Factory. The responsible person of the tour gave us a detailed introduction to the relevant situation of Baotou Steel Bar Factory. Bar production process All rolling line equipment is arranged on the +5.00m platform with an elevation of +5.80m. When the hot billet is used, the qualified continuous casting billet is fed from the continuous casting hot billet gantry to the conveying roller in a single manner, and the conveying roller conveys the billet forward. The billet is weighed by the billet scale provided in the roller table during transport of the conveyor roller, and the weight of each billet is automatically recorded. The blank which is unacceptable on the conveying roller can be removed by a culling device provided on the side of the conveying roller. The qualified blanks are lifted to the roller table of the +5.00m platform by the lifting mechanism and fed into the furnace through the furnace roller. The temperature at which the hot feed blank enters the furnace is about 600 ° C. When cold billet production is used, the billet is transported forward through the conveyor roller in a single manner, weighed during transport, and an unqualified billet reject device is placed on the other side of the roller table, and surface defects and bends are manually inspected. Blanks that do not meet the requirements are removed here. After the blank, the billet is lifted to the roller table of the +5.00 m platform by the lifting mechanism, and sent to the furnace through the furnace roller to heat. The regenerative push-type heating furnace heats the billet to 980~1150°c according to the heating system of different steel types. The heated billet is pushed out from the side of the heating road by the tapping machine according to the rolling rhythm, and the billet after the tapping is transported by the conveying roller to the first rolling mill of the roughing unit. Unqualified billets are removed from the billet rejecting device. The billet is first rolled into a 6-stand mill and then rolled to the 6-row mill by the 1# fly shear. Rough rolling and medium rolling are micro tension rolling. The rolled parts are sent out from the middle rolling mill through the 2# flying shears and the tails are sent to the 6-stand finishing rolling mill. The finishing mills are provided with loopers before the racks to carry out tension-free rolling to ensure the dimensional accuracy of the rolled parts. For the production of iii grade ribbed steel bars, a pre-through water cooling device is set after the middle rolling mill to control the temperature of the rolling stock into the finishing mill, that is, to control the finishing rolling temperature of the rolled stock.
All the rolling mills are arranged alternately in a horizontal position, and the 16# and 18# vertical rolling mills of the finishing mill can be turned into horizontal rolling mills, that is, two flat and vertical transfer mills in the finishing rolling mill. This not only can cut and roll small-sized ribbed steel bars of 12~18mm, but also lays a foundation for broadening the product variety in the future. In addition to the cut products, the whole line of rolled products is non-twisted and rolled, and products of different specifications are rolled out from their corresponding frames. The ribbed steel bar with a maximum rolling speed of 18m∕¢12 is distributed and rolled by 3-wire cutting, and the ribbed steel bars of ¢14,16,18mm are distributed and rolled by 2-wire cutting. At this time, the 16# and 18# rolling mills stand by The roller position is changed to the flat roller position. When there is a fault in the downstream of the rolling line, the 1# and 2# flying shears are automatically started, and the cutting is continuously cut, and the rolling stock is broken to prevent the accident from further expanding. The ribbed steel bar of the finishing mill immediately enters the water cooling device for on-line residual heat quenching treatment, that is, the rolling material is forcedly water-cooled through the water cooling box, and the surface temperature thereof is drastically reduced to about 300 ° C to form martensite structure and water outlet cold box. After that, the heat dissipation from the core of the rolled product tempers the surface martensite structure, and finally the surface is tempered martensite structure and the core is fine-grained pearlite structure. The product of this structure has high resistance. The tensile strength increases the strength of the ribbed bar by one level. According to the product requirements of different steel grades and specifications, the number of water-cooling devices used, the amount of water, etc., are set to achieve the required rolling stock temperature. The water-cooled or rolled piece is clamped by the pinch roller and fed into the multi-segment segment flying shear, which is segmented and cut by the segmented flying shears and cut into a multiple of the length of the cold bed. The segmented rolled piece is sent to a 120×12.5mm stepped rack type cold bed by a cold bed input roller and a steel throwing device, and the rolled piece is naturally cooled by stepping on the cold bed. Before the lower cooling bed, one end of the rolling piece is aligned to one end of the cooling bed output direction by the alignment roller, and then the steel group is formed into a row by a chain conveyor at a certain interval and quantity, and is discharged to the cooling bed output roller by the unloading device. The on-line cooling bed output roller conveyor transports the steel unloaded from the cold bed to the cold flying shears and cuts to a fixed length during travel. The fixed-size material is transported away by the shearing roller. After the cold-flying shear, the end of the roller road is set with a short-length collecting device, and the non-fixed-length finished product finally cut by the cold flying shear is collected and removed. The qualified fixed-size steel is tightly braked by the two-roller, and then traversed by the lifting and traversing machine to the transfer gantry and then sent to the finished product straddle by the transfer gantry. The transfer gantry is composed of three sets of chain conveyors. The fixed sizing materials are inspected, sorted and manually counted during the transport of the transfer gantry, and then collected on a collecting roller with a vertical roller to collect bundles, and then manually bundled. Finally, it is sent to the collection rig for weighing, hanging signs and collecting steel bundles. The bundle of finished products is suspended from the double hook crane in the finished product warehouse to the stacking area and stacked in a "well" shape. In the rolling process, the size sample is taken manually on the cold bed, and the test sample is selected at the cold shear. All the rolling mills in the main workshop are arranged alternately in flat/stand-up. Except for the cutting requirements due to the process requirements and some passes, the other ones are not twisted and rolled, and the products of different specifications are rolled out from the corresponding racks. The cutting head and rolling waste generated during the rolling process are first collected by the cutting head box, then transported by the crane, transported out of the workshop by the car or directly transported out of the workshop by the forklift. Both designs are available in the design.
Baotou Steel Bar Factory was established in 1987. In XX, it carried out technical transformation and introduced 500kw initial rolling mill and imported finishing mill. A total of 6 initial rolling mills, 6 medium rolling mills and 6 finishing mills, the main equipment is heating furnace, rolling mill, cutting head broken flying shears, double-foot flying shears, cold bed, 500 tons cold shear, fixed length machine , baler. The process flow is raw material continuous casting billet → heating → rolling → double-cutting → cooling → cut-to-length cutting → inspection → packing → weighing → storage. We visited the production workshop and saw the production line of bar production. We had a general understanding of the production of bars, and also gave me a deeper understanding and practical experience of Baotou Steel.
3, Baotou Tiancheng Wire Factory
On November 12th, we visited Baotou Tiancheng Wire Factory. Baotou Tiancheng Wire Co., Ltd. was established on July 30, 1994. It is a wire rod manufacturer jointly established by Baotou Steel Group and Hong Kong Chenghua Company. The shareholding ratio of Baotou Steel Group is 75%. Registered address Baotou Steel District, Kunming District, Baotou City, legal representative Lin Donglu, registered capital of XX million US dollars. Business scope: production and sales of smooth wire and threaded steel. Baotou Steel high-speed wire rod is a single-flow full-line twistless rolling. The annual designed production capacity is 380,000 tons. The current production capacity is 650,000 tons. It can produce φ 5.5-20 mm mm high quality smooth wire and φ 6 - 16mm high quality. Rebar. The bar production line directly uses 150 square continuous casting billet as raw material, with an annual production design capacity of 500,000 tons. The product specification is φ 14 —φ 40mm round steel and ribbed threaded steel. It can be used for construction steel, standard steel, machining. For materials and special steel, the length of the product is 6 - 12m. In recent years, by tapping the potential of the 45-degree twistless wire mill of Morgan Scientific in the United States to produce high-quality wire products, at the same time, the bar finishing mill has been transformed, and Baotou Steel can produce high-quality bar of international fixed length.
For medium and rough rolling mills, the nickel-chromium-molybdenum infinite chilled ductile iron composite roll in centrifugal casting was gradually selected. The finishing mill used nickel-chromium-molybdenum infinite chilled cast iron composite roll in centrifugal casting. And to ensure that the hardness of the roll body before k13 is hsd62 ~ 67; k7 to k12 roll body hardness is hsd65 ~ 70; k1 ~ k2 roll body hardness is hsd70 ~ 75. Due to the excellent roll material, reasonable stacking relationship, sufficient cooling water and strict roll change groove system, the finished product size and wire surface quality are guaranteed. Moreover, the k1 to k2 passes can roll 100t per tank, and the k3~k8 passes can roll more than 200t per tank, which can basically maintain the stability of the rolling mill.
The flat-hole guides of the finishing mill are made of cast-steel splint with copper-tungsten-based and the high-nickel alloy splint that can be reworked multiple times. The finishing guide is a combination guide made of seamless pipe forging and chamfering. The length of the pipe is 420mm. The width of the straight section of the finishing plate is 0.2-0.5 larger than the maximum thickness of the red blank. Mm; square hole type cleat plate straight section opening width is 0.9 to 1.2 times the red billet diagonal. The process flow is 150 square billet of raw material. 150×150×12m, the total weight of billet is about 2.5 incoming materials→upper frame→checking→weighing→heating in furnace→rolling→pre-finishing, using wc rolling ring,→ Finish rolling, driven by 6300kw motor, speed 130m / s to the required size → online measuring instrument → pinch rolling → silking machine → raceway → emergency roll → finishing, → storage.
Through the analysis and research on the production, cost, equipment and daily administrative management process of Baotou Steel High-line Factory, the optimal business relationship model is formed. The web-based enterprise information system of Baotou Steel High-line Factory is designed and implemented. In the system implementation process, the project management is adopted by the rut methodology to reduce the risk of system development and ensure that the project goes online as scheduled. The technical architecture adopts j2ee's b/s technical architecture, which is the first time in Baotou Steel's information construction project, providing real-time query and analysis functions in different places. It enables managers to control production in a convenient and effective manner, which greatly improves the efficiency and market competitiveness of high-line factories. It also gives us a better understanding of the process of the wire factory.
Third, internship experience
After a few days of internships, it has greatly broadened our horizons; during the internship, we continuously recorded the knowledge related to our majors, and then linked this knowledge with theoretical knowledge to better understand the theory and practice. The combination further deepens our understanding of theoretical knowledge and stimulates our interest in learning knowledge - hopefully in the future learning process, we can apply what we have learned to actually create more things.
After the internship, we all had deep feelings and learned a lot of knowledge that we couldn't learn in the textbook - making up for our own knowledge defects. We have learned a lot from the company's development process, and the company is developing.
