What is more serious is that the schools are all independent, and they are not open to outsiders at all. We are directly stopped by the guards outside the gatekeeper, saying that they are not allowed to enter, and finally they are secretly mixed in. This is the gap with some foreign universities. Foreign universities are completely open to the public. Public facilities such as fitness equipment and sports fields on campus are causing serious waste of resources if students close their doors during school holidays.

Campus location

The location of Changqing University City is too far from the city center, but it is also the purpose of its construction, in order to promote the economic development of the region, but the problem is that the transportation is inconvenient, making the university city an isolated island, which is not convenient. It is not convenient for people to come out to visit, so the economic action is not very obvious, and there is no close connection and communication with the city.

Campus traffic

Traffic plays an important role in a campus image and campus order. Campus roads should be convenient to reach all areas of the school. Because of the large space of the school, there are bicycles on the campus, and with the popularity of private cars. There are many cars in the school, so the roads should be divided into people and cars, and the width is not too narrow. However, when we visited several universities in Changqing, we found that the roads in Shanshi, Shanguang and other schools were too wide, about ten meters. It’s too dysfunctional with the human body scale. It’s especially uncomfortable on the road that is wide, it doesn’t feel like it’s at school.

This may be like the size of the mountain division, so the road is quite wide, like the Shandong Arts and Crafts Institute, the area is small, so the road there is relatively narrow, so the road width must be appropriate.

Parking problem

Walking on campus, we can see cars everywhere. It is more and more common that there are many cars parked in the entrances of various teaching buildings and office buildings, and there are parking spaces on both sides of the road. This is the adopted by most schools. of. I think it is possible to set up a small parking lot by planting trees or laying turf bricks on some side of the raft, or to set up an underground parking lot in the underground of the building. If the parking lot is unreasonably planned, parking too many vehicles at the entrance of the building will definitely be a large campus landscape. Discounted, bicycles are more common in larger campuses. I think there is a rest square in the Shandong Arts and Crafts Institute. It seems to be the default place for people to put their bicycles. Everyone can't rest here, which seriously damages the campus landscape. For bicycle parking problems, some schools such as Shandong Light Industry Institute do a good job. Campus environment planning

A good campus environment will affect everyone's mood. To create a good campus environment, we should pay special attention to the pleasantness of the environmental planning scale, and increase the comfort and humanity of the environment.

In this respect, I think we have done a good job at Shandong University of Architecture. The old school of Shanshi has done a good job in Linyin Road, visiting Changqing University City. When I was a few old schools, I thought that their campus environment did not have a very detailed plan. The shaded squares and lakesides that everyone loved were very rough, and the flower beds and large squares were also purposeless. In particular, there are a lot of mountain divisions, and the roads are not clearly distinguished. There is almost no treatment in the squares. There are no decorative elements, so that students don’t want to be there. There is no affinity. Some school green spaces are almost free of grass, not at all. Add trimming. Another problem is that there are not many benches in the schools of Changqing University City. The humanized design is not strong, and there are too few places for people to rest. However, one of the deep impressions is that Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine comes out of the library and has a two-story corridor. The campus is particularly comfortable to see from a distance. The wall on the side of the corridor has celebrity sculptures and is engraved with medicine. Classics, as well as many students reading books here, set off the cultural atmosphere of the campus.

Doing a good view of the water can add a lot of beautiful scenery to the campus. However, the Changqing University City is like a mountain teacher, a Chinese medicine school, etc. The pool is very rough, and we don’t want to build a mountain. The students contacted and enhanced friendship, but when we visited Changqing University City, we found that there was almost no contact between the schools, and there was no resource sharing. The schools were separate and closed, and no external students were allowed to enter. Causes great waste of resources. Some university towns in Guangzhou also use a card to concentrate the scattered campus card, meal card, telephone card, bank card and medical card on one card. At the same time, it is compatible with Guangzhou Yangchengtong traffic card function. It is very convenient to use and greatly enhances the university. The efficiency of teaching and administrative management in various universities in the city reduces the cost of management. This phenomenon has greatly inspired us to build a university city. The university city has become a real whole, and our Shandong University of Architecture is not doing enough here.
