2019 Summer Teaching Practice Report

XX year summer teaching practice report

College: College of Education Science Student ID: XX10400002 Name: ***

This is the first summer vacation after entering the university. The school has arranged summer practice activities with the theme of “focusing on society, gratifying society, and returning to society”. During the summer vacation, the school requires students to use their free time to actively participate in various meaningful practical activities in the society. In order to complete the learning tasks required by the school, and to make a side test beyond the examination of the knowledge and ability developed in this school year, I am a student of a normal college, during this summer vacation. A teaching practice was carried out. The specific situation of the practice of teaching activities is now reported as follows:

Practice unit: The third class of the nine-year-old school in the 100 provinces of Napo County, Baise, Guangxi.

Practical content: school education and teaching work and school building public welfare activities.

Practice process:

This educational and teaching practice has been maintained for a week. On the 18th, it was just the local traditional street. Parents from classmates from hometown and even outside towns went to the school to visit their children, so this day, the author did not rush to carry out teaching activities, but to follow this opportunity to learn from the teachers and some parents about some of the students. Basic situation, I want to know something from it. On the same day, the author went deep into the student dormitory to understand the student's stay and the basic living conditions of the school, and in the spare time, with the student's consent, read through the semester's homework and exam papers for some students in the class, and to the teacher. Understand the students' learning situation and have a basic grasp of the basic situation of the students in this class.

The class has a total of 64 students, 42 in-house students, accounting for 65.6% of the class, and 22 outside students, accounting for 34.4% of the class. I found out that because the boarding students are staying at home or in loved ones, and some of the students’ parents have been working outside the home for a long time or are busy with business matters, they rarely take care of their children’s learning and education, or they are less concerned about their children’s learning. In this way, some students’ learning has been in a state of laxity for a long time, and even some students are tired of learning. Through the communication with the students, the author found that in this class, the academic performance of the students was generally worse than that of the students. Through in-depth understanding, it is known from some students that their parents do not want them to go to school at all. Parents let them come to school to study because they are helpless. If they are not a nine-year compulsory education, parents do not want them to come to school. Moreover, the so-called "distribution system" of the country, the so-called "iron rice bowl" no longer exists, the amount of money spent on reading, do not know whether to find a job after graduation, this is the most concerned issue of some parents in the local rural education system. . Besides, reading the money from middle schools and universities can already build a better house in the countryside. Some families have few labors at home, and the economic conditions are not ideal. They look at the people around them who are working in Guangdong to earn money to break down a burden for the family. Some people even come back to build a house, but they are busy. Farmers can't get away from it. They also hope that there are individuals in the family who are also part of the workers. Therefore, the hearts of some parents have long been shaken. They can't wait for their children to learn like their brothers and sisters in the south. The author is also a child from the countryside. Although these things did not happen to them, sometimes they really feel sad for those children. With such parenting education, the author seems to have felt the sorrow of being a rural child and worried about the future of these children. A student is in a passive learning and learning state. How can he study with peace of mind, can he learn well?

In response to the above problems in rural education, the author also put forward personal views:

First, the government should give more specific policies to rural education. Although the current government has given preferential policies to rural education, rural education has achieved certain results with the help of the government. This is certain. However, why rural education is caught every year, but it is not stable every year. The author believes that the chief culprit of this problem is the ideological concept of rural people. Many rural parents think that they have worked hard for their children to study, but in the end they went to work for themselves, and they think that it is "working", and it is the same thing as "working" for people without culture. Then why waste money! Their ideas have been stuck in the "iron rice bowl" era 20 years ago. Their purpose for children to read is to get ahead of their faces, but the times are different. They can't accept new society for a while. To break this concept, the author believes that the government should give special policies to rural higher education, such as special education systems, special employment distribution systems, and so on. This will allow some people to taste the sweetness of education first, and "red" in the local area, in order to drive the majority of parents to change an old backward education concept, and then drive some people to "learn".

Second, education must first be grasped from parents. We should understand that parents are the first teachers of their children. The quality of parenting education is related to the success or failure of school education to a certain extent. Therefore, on the first day of the new student enrollment, the school should first firmly grasp the parent education, ensure the family's support for school education, and let all students who want to learn but can't feel at ease due to parental reasons can let go of their studies. . Schools can carry out parent education in various situations, such as parent conferences and seminars, so that parents can recognize the importance of modern social education and cultivate parents' correct educational concepts, instead of just discussing how parents can give students material help. How teachers educate students, students' discipline requirements at school, etc. The author believes that these are only minor issues. As long as the parents' educational concepts change, the problems will be better resolved.

Third, teachers are not only the disseminators of knowledge, but also the guiding of the correct life of young students. The author believes that a good teacher is not only to teach cultural knowledge, but more importantly, to guide the young students who are in the youthful period of confusion to guide the correct life path, how to solve the problem for young people in this period, how to plan themselves Life, how to run your own future. In rural areas, due to the implication of an idea, the parental education of some students is not very scientific. If the teacher as a knowledge transferer does not correctly guide these students, the students will always be students, even students will go to evil. Health.

On the second and third days of the teaching activities, the author went deep into the classroom and conducted a two-day lecture. In these two days, the author has listened to five courses in physics, mathematics, English, Chinese, and chemistry. Finally, the author found that in the five courses, except for the teaching methods of mathematics and English teachers, the teaching methods of the other three courses are basically the same. This way of teaching is basically:

1. Review old knowledge.

Second, introduce new knowledge by reviewing the knowledge that has already been learned.

Teachers will receive knowledge points.

Explain the examples related to knowledge points.

Give the students a certain amount of time to complete the relevant exercises and then explain to the teacher.

Third, review classroom knowledge and arrange homework.

In the course of the three courses, one of the issues that the author pays particular attention to is the interaction between students and teachers in the classroom. Obviously, in the time of a class, it is basically the time when the teacher is talking and there is no student to ask questions, discuss problems, and solve problems. After class and the students exchanged, I learned that there are a lot of knowledge points in the class that they haven't figured out yet. I don't know "Why?", the teacher has already talked about other knowledge points, when thinking about the problems that can't be understood. At the time, new knowledge can't keep up. The students also reported that the assignments of individual course teachers were very repetitive, and the amount of work was relatively large, taking up a lot of study time in other courses, which led some students to “smash corn and lose watermelon”. Learning should be mutual communication, discovering problems, discussing problems, solving problems, asking questions if you don't understand, and answering questions. The author believes that these should be more reflected in the teaching activities of teaching and learning. Similarly, the consolidation of operations is not about more, but about precision. Teachers should teach students how to solve problems by “giving them to fish” rather than “giving them to fish”.

One of the drawbacks of rural education is that students' individuality is not promoted. Some schools pay attention to the student's rate of entrance to school. It is a kind of mechanical teaching and learning. Some schools even study for the sake of examination, for example, history, geography, Physiological health classes, etc. Because the senior high school entrance examination is not required for the entrance examination, many rural schools ignore these courses. Many rural school education neglects the all-round development of students, which leads to the phenomenon of “high scores and low energy” for students who are trained. As educators, we should know that education not only makes students understand “1+1=2”, but more importantly, it also requires students to think about why “1+1=2”, so that they can think more deeply about “1” +1=?”.

On the contrary, in the teaching activities of mathematics and English, the teachers pay special attention to the interaction between teachers and students. Let's take the teaching method of math class as an example.

I. Review the previous section

Second, apply the equation to solve the problem - a small blackboard form.

Question 1. The school library has 50,000 books at the end of last year. It is expected to increase to 72,000 by the end of next year, seeking the average growth rate of the two years.

Students think for 2 minutes.

Teacher analysis

Solution: Let the average growth rate of the two years be x, according to the title

5*=7.2

Solve the equation for x

The square of the unknown appears. How do you solve this problem?

Third, introduce new content with problems.

The concept of a quadratic equation

The general form of the quadratic equation: ax2+bx+c=0—analysis

Students think, ask questions, and discuss issues.

Targeted practice.

Supplementary examples.

Intensive practice.

Fourth, review the contents of this section, homework after class.

This interactive teaching method may take up more time in the classroom, sometimes it is impossible to complete the teaching task on time, but the pen thinks that if the teacher's teaching task is completed and the quality is not completed, the student can't learn the knowledge.
