The "Three Rural Areas" Teaching Practice Report in the Summer of 2019
This summer, I was fortunate enough to participate in the “Three Rural Areas” teaching activities organized by our Youth League Committee and went to teach at Hedong Middle School in Conghua City. During the period, I was mainly responsible for acting as the class teacher of one class, teaching in the ecological class, and propagating the knowledge of science in the “Biology Street” – bird watching and bird watching projects. During this time, the harvest is really a lot. The friendship with students and teammates is so moving, cherished and memorable. These will become one of my precious life treasures. I really realized that our teacher gave us the gift. : "In the shortest time, the meaning of making things that are worth remembering in your life."
Here are some of the daily experiences and feelings I wrote during my teaching activities. I will share it with you here:
On July 17th, I found out that I am more and more liked the students of our class d. I feel that time flies a little faster. How can I live three days so soon? After three days of getting along, I have already met the whole class of our class d and also learned about the characteristics of some students. When I was in the class, both the students and me had the atmosphere of teachers and students, and it felt a lot easier.
What impressed me the most: this morning, the students in the class took to the area where our class was responsible for cleaning. During the exchange with the students, some students said these words: "Teacher, you are so good, we have not seen the teacher like you. So good--will clean up with all of us. It also includes teachers from other classes, and they just ask their classmates how to do it...". After hearing these words, I was really pleased that some of our usual small details could affect our students so deeply.
Today, I think the other thing worth mentioning is our morning class, we play the game of water. At the beginning, two of the more awkward girls in the class told me that they didn't want to participate. The two of their classmates also started to attend the teacher-student meeting and were encouraged by our teachers and the whole class to finally introduce themselves to the podium. They were still reluctant to participate after asking if they were physically uncomfortable. But when we all enjoyed our time, they took the initiative to ask me: "Teacher, can we join in now?"
It can be seen that as long as we give students the right guidance in words and deeds, we can give full play to their enthusiasm in all aspects, and you will find that our group of lovely students - really good!
Our class d students are really lively. When I was out of school in the morning, I was stopped by them and handed me a test--from the C. There are multiple-choice questions, and even more, there are translation questions, and it is a classic phrase to translate local Conghua. These students have to test our group of teachers and try to do the previous six-choice questions. They are all wrong. And they also asked me to do these teachers for us. The answer is to be given to us tomorrow.
