Experience of the three summers in the summer of 2012


In the summer of 2019, 14 students from our Foreign Languages ​​College, a class of English, came to the second country of Liangkou Town, Conghua City to launch our three activities. The activities of the three rural areas mainly include the English summer camp activities in Liangkou Second Kingdom and the survey on the use of farmers' land and the development of modern agriculture. This is an unforgettable trip in our university life. The short seven-day trip has become a beautiful and unforgettable memory in my life.
In this English summer camp, the purpose of our activities is to satisfy the rural children's curiosity in an entertaining way and let them experience the city's high-quality education. Therefore, our teaching is not as simple as regular. In the classroom, we spent nearly half of the time engaging in activities. Small world, English singing competition, English corner `````` are the characteristics of our summer camp. Through these methods, our aim is to arouse students' interest in learning English and to feel the fun and colorfulness of English. In the classroom, our teaching methods are also slightly different from those of ordinary countries. We arranged some games in the classroom to let the students feel the fun while learning, and also cultivate their self-esteem and self-confidence.
I and another classmate of our group are responsible for the fifth grade b class. There are 30 classmates in the class. When I walked into the classroom on the first day, I was actually a little nervous. This is the first time I walked to the podium as a teacher. The eyes under the stage looked at me. The pure look of expectation, in addition to giving me the effort to let them learn the most in a limited time. The determination and confidence of knowledge also made me feel some pressure. How can I get close to the children, how to teach them the knowledge they have, how to mobilize their enthusiasm for learning, how to make them learn not only in these seven days, but also make these seven days of learning beneficial. For their future study?
With these embarrassment, I started the teaching of the first class. For students, everything is so fresh; it is even more so for me. Environment, role, things to deal with `````` Everything has never been touched before. However, when I understood my responsibilities and the purpose of the trip, everything went automatically to my head. After starting contact with the students, I found out that, in fact, I don't need to be nervous, the children are so kind and so cute, they just want to get the knowledge to water!
After I put down my heart, I naturally teach according to my own preparations; of course, because the preparation is before the start, and there is always some face-to-face preparation in the process of doing things, therefore, I will also Make adjustments based on a dozen situations. Listening to the students' neat and loud reading sounds, there is a warm current in my heart: It turns out that my little efforts can arouse their enthusiasm! Knowledge is so important, then, under their earnest eyes, in their enthusiasm, what I should do is to work harder to benefit them, to learn, to think ``````
The most important thing to summarize with the children in seven days is that the teacher's responsibility is not just to teach, but more importantly, to make the children receive the knowledge and the healthy and positive development of the mind. Therefore, in dealing with children, in addition to teaching in the classroom, I also find time to chat with them after class, to understand their thoughts, and also to ask their opinions, to help me make improvements, and thus more beneficial. For their study. In addition to the communication with the children, the cooperation between our teachers also made me feel deeply. If only I am alone to bring this class, I am afraid that I can do much more limited things; or, without a friend standing on the same front, I will lose a lot of courage. Moreover, we cooperate well in the seven-day summer camp, which is also the power of unity. The cooperation with other students, even if I feel that I will not be able to stand alone, but also make me feel very happy!
This trip to the countryside has really benefited me a lot, not only got exercise, but also got the heart. I will take the blessings of the children and work harder to make my own path and use my knowledge and skills to contribute to the society!
