Life is not coming back, what is greed?

I saw this slogan in the MRT station: I want, everything.

Seriously, when I saw this slogan, my first reaction was: I was surprised. I even stopped and stunned for two seconds, and the emotions of surprise slowly turned into heartfelt admiration - this sentence is well said!

I don't know how others think about this sentence, but when I saw it, I was really embarrassed. I am born in a traditional Chinese-style family. I have strict tutoring. I have to be humble, gentle, low-key, and uncontested when I was young. Don't talk too much about my point of view, and don't show too strong desires.

So, for me, it’s incredible to say "I want, everything".

I really want a lot of it. I want to achieve my ideals, I want to be thin and beautiful, I want to travel around the world, I want to meet love, I want everything better and better. However, I am used to suppressing and obscuring my own mood, and being ashamed to make them public, always feel that the desire to shine is too naked and too greedy.

Therefore, when I saw a sentence and said what I wanted to say but could not say, I was surprised first, then I was amazed.

Recently, my friend also surprised me.

She is very young, but she is full of courage. What went to Beijing last week, I feel like the city, just the boss of a company also appreciates her, so she went back and decisively refused the internship arranged by the school, packed the luggage, and went to the Imperial Capital alone. Yesterday, her position has been in Wangjing SOHO.

She said that her goal in life is to buy the most expensive bags for the most handsome men. This is incredible for people like me who are quite normal. I don't necessarily agree with her point of view, but I really appreciate her courage to speak out é. It’s fascinating that the young girl is arrogant and cute.

Before talking to her editor Mei Zijie, Mei Zijie said: She is such a little girl, perhaps representing a trend of the times, more and more dare to express herself, chic, fearless.

Some people want a lot of love, some people want a lot of money. Everyone can have a good nightmare about the future, and there is nothing to hide.

We are so young, there are so many dreamy bubbles in the sky. We have a lot of time in our hands, and our hearts are filled with heroic dreams. The road ahead is shining. We clearly have a lot of dreams that we want to chase. Why do we pretend to be old and pretend to be like a look of no desire?

I just want to announce to the world that I am young, I am full of courage, I want everything better.

In 2005, Jobs gave a speech at the Stanford Graduation Ceremony and finally gave it to the young people present: Stay Hungry, Stay Foolish. The most popular Chinese translation of this sentence is: If you are hungry, you are humble. In fact, this interpretation is biased from the original intention.

Someone on the Internet explained that hungry is not used in English to describe the pursuit of knowledge. For knowledge, the word "curious" is used in English. A person who is thirsty is called intelligently curious or eager to learn, but it is definitely not an intelligent hungry, and it is rarely hungry to learn.

When using hungry, it is actually "success", that is, hungry for success. So Jobs's stay hungry, not the meaning of seeking knowledge, but to encourage young people: to constantly pursue success, never knowing satisfaction.

Therefore, this sentence has a ridiculous translation on the Internet: to be a hard-working second.

Yesterday, I saw Lin Yutang’s second daughter writing her father’s article. The literary master who "follows Chinese and Western culture and pays attention to the cosmic article" is full of curiosity and desire for the world in his youth.

This article tells Lin Yutang:

"The world is so big, history is so long, his desire for knowledge is so strong, he feels different from others. They seem to have little demand for life, find a thing to do, marry and have children, and casually mix their lives. His demands are many. He wants to taste everything in the world. He wants to understand all the truths, what is life, what is death, what is beauty? He sometimes feels tears because he sees a beautiful scenery. He wants to have the opportunity to travel the world, to observe the life in the most remote places in the world, to go to the most prosperous capital city to meet the Sao people, ask questions to them, and ask for advice."

"He feels his greed, whatever the eyes can see, the ears can hear, the nose smells, the tongue can taste, he has to try."

I like such hunger and thirst, such greed, such endless desires. It is full of vitality and full of enthusiasm for life.

This kind of sincere and eager heart, the gold does not change.

In the Japanese drama "Sorry for Youth", there is such a bloody classic line: Life is not coming back, what is greed?

Don't blame me for being greedy, greedy people can live better. Our curiosity and greed are the infinite possibilities of future life. Those who are not dreaming when they are 20 years old, have to go to help others to dream in their 30s.

The life I want is this: dare to admit my inner desires, use all my strength to pursue what I want, and take on all possible consequences.

I want to be better, I deserve better, I am willing to work hard for everything.

May you and me live in frankness, live bright, live greedy and full of hope.
