I managed to win an interview at McDonald's.

Two months after coming to London, I started my first career in my life. In fact, it is purely accidental to be able to go to McDonald's to work. In the days before Christmas, I was bored to prepare for the IELTS test in January. Every day I did a mock exam and I was so dark that I felt pain at the end. I thought it would be better to give myself two days off and go out. Sitting on the 93 bus to Wimbledon in the three districts, suddenly a huge poster of a McDonald's outside the window attracted me - We hire you ?many vacancies here ?? We hire you? I thought, I was able to recruit people in such a big way, indicating that they are really too lacking, otherwise those vacant positions of the baby have long been taken up by relatives and friends of internal employees. My person is naturally curious, thinking about it is boring anyway, just go to the interview, just right to practice speaking! So I got out of the car and walked in and out. The online version of a Chinese female "Child" served on Till received me. I just spoke: "Can I talk to your manager?" She knew that I was looking for a job, so I took the time to recite the interview, what requirements, etc. I thought to myself: It is estimated that I am familiar with the degree of familiarity. On the day of the interview, I deliberately arrived half an hour earlier. But who knows that there are five or six people who are younger than me. It seems that I should have a joke of my classmates: No way, the global economy is sluggish, and work is hard to find! At 9 o'clock, the General Manager appeared on time. He greeted us for the interview and took the application form on the second floor. Under this order, a lot of people suddenly emerged from all corners of McDonald's, what skin color is there, and the invisible pressure has come up. However, I secretly told myself that it was a speaking simulation test, and it didn't matter if the work didn't get. After sitting, Manager tells us that only two of us today can stay and work. Then I started to receive the application form, and one person called the interview in person. I took a breath. Look at the people around you, everyone seems to be extraordinary, there are two white people, fluently speaking in English, count about 15 people. Looking forward to the left and right, a black girl next to me and I clamored for a few words, then began to ask where I live and what to learn. When she heard that I only came for two months, I made an extremely exaggerated mouth shape and said, "You cool? You can speak so good English?" The taste of being praised is still good, which also makes me Be confident before the interview. About 10 minutes after the interview, Manager called my name, I ran a little, and gave him a big smile. He was obviously satisfied with my friendliness, and then I took the opportunity to say "Hello" and shook his hand hard as the teacher told us during class. He politely let me sit down, then my eyes began to sweep over my application. I asked, "You Chinese?" I nodded and said, "Yeah I am from a very ancient city name Xi'an. Well? you must hear about the terra-cotta warriors. It's the eighth wonder of the World."Manager may have reacted to me in the beginning from the beginning, and the expression looked at me with a confused look. I think he doesn't seem to know much about Chinese culture. Then he said, "I've heard from my friend working in McDonald's that you all got at least three weeks holidays with salary per year? didn't you? Well? I think it will be a good choice to visit China. It's really worth going." Manager is obviously surprised by my understanding of paid holidays, and I am very satisfied with my initiative to understand McDonald's before. So, nodded again and again: "Not bad idea? I will think about it." Then he turned over the application form to see my hobbies and work experience. Seeing my football in the Hobbies column, obviously he is very interested, "You like football? Play or just watch?" I said with a smile, "I had played in the primary school for 3 years. But now I am Old so? I played football for 3 years in the country, but now I am old, so...?..." He smiled and nodded. I was thinking about finding something to talk to him on football. He asked, and asked if I knew that a young Chinese player had come to the Tottenham Hotspur team for a workout. This problem really hit the muzzle, and I blurted out and said, Qu Bo! He immediately came to the interest and told me that Tottenham was his favorite team. He went to the home almost every time and said that he liked Qu Bo. He also scored the ball when he came. By this time I almost didn't talk much. He started talking about football and his home team. I just said something like "Really? Oh? that's cool?" at the right time. His topic is of strong interest. After talking about 5 minutes, he asked me, "Do you think Qu Bo will come back to play for us"? To tell the truth, how do I know this, but in order to please him, I firmly replied "Sure", he is very happy. After the interview, I talked so much about it. He looked at the watch time and it was almost the same. He said that the assessment of me was over and asked me if I had any questions. I asked professionally about pre-job training and salary issues. Finally, I said: "The last question? have you made your decision if I can work here with you?" He smiled mysteriously: "I have to finish all the interviews? haven't I? But I am eager to see You soon." When I heard him, I had a bottom in my heart. So, politely say goodbye to him, and happily came out. Unsurprisingly, I received a call from him in the afternoon, informing me that I would receive induction training the next day. I was admitted at the same time as the black girl who chatted with me before the interview. When we met again, we looked at each other and said nothing.
