■ I. Overview:
From July 26th to July 31st, 2002, a group of 7 people from the Summer Practice Group of the Department of Automation of Xiamen University went to Houpu Village, Lianhua Town, Tong'an District, Xiamen to hope that the National Primary School will carry out summer social practice activities. In just 6 days, we hoped that the small school in Houpu Village would carry out computer training, science and technology lectures, university life photo exhibitions, handwritten newspaper competitions, fun sports games, speech contests and other colorful activities, and Social practice is the combination of the people and the people, and at the same time it is the "in-depth investigation visit" that college students need. The event was warmly welcomed and strongly supported by the students of our department and the village, school leaders, students and parents who wished the country. Through this event, the students:

??, pre-planning: dreams----conception----start planning----the purposeful and step-by-step proceeding from April, the two committees of the 2000 class class hope to put the summer social practice of 2002 Run well, strive to provide students with various practical opportunities, and actively contact the practice units. In the process of contact, the two committees of the class constantly exchanged opinions with the counselors and the relevant person in charge of the student union, and finally targeted the "three rural areas, rural education, and social investigations".
At the beginning of June, in conjunction with the Ministry of Education of the Central Propaganda Department and the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League on the summer vacation of the college students, taking into account the professional characteristics and other relevant conditions of our department, we selected the practice unit in the Coca-Cola Hope in Houpu Village, Lianhua Town, Tong'an District, Xiamen City. Guo Xiao, and he was contacted by Ye Jinshe, the head of the Zehui Center of Houpu Village, and the headmaster of Hope State Xiaoye. In their contact with us, we learned that: Coca-Cola Hope Town, Lianpu Village, Lianhua Town, Tong'an District, Xiamen City, is located at the foot of Lianhua Mountain in Lianhua Town. The school building is jointly owned by Coca-Cola Xiamen Co., Ltd. and Houpu Village Committee. A full-time national minimum invested in the year, there are currently about 200 students. The school hosts the "Zehui Center Summer Camp" every summer. The Zehui Center was co-founded by several university students in Lianhua Town. The students are mainly compulsory and have successfully held two sessions. The main activity is to start various lectures. Contents related to study, university, humanities, science and technology, etc., invite all university students to discuss with students and hold various competitions. Our practical concept has received positive response and strong support from the other side, and the two sides have initially reached a cooperation intention.
??, medium-term planning: determine the details of the activity - funding application - constantly changing and perfecting In the next month or so, we started the event planning and funding application step by step. Taking into account the professional characteristics of our department, the specialties of our department and the hardware conditions of the practice units, we initially set the activities in the computer training, science and technology lectures, and social surveys with interviews as the main method. The participants are participating in the summer camp. The 5th and 6th grade primary school students, the practice time is initially set at the beginning of July, and the registration work for the 00 students of our department is started.
In the preparation process, we have made many changes to the time and content of the event in response to the actual situation of the small country: in order to cooperate with the hope of the small summer practice arrangement and the use of the computer room, the time will be changed from July 25 to 7. From the 27th to the 26th. At the same time, aiming at the psychological characteristics of primary school students, the content of the activities has been greatly enriched: the original computer training was compressed, and on the basis of this, activities such as handwritten newspaper competitions, fun games, speech contests, university life photo exhibitions, etc. were added and carried out. Fully prepared, and assigned tasks to people, and urged participants to complete their multimedia courseware in a certain period of time.

At 2:20 noon on July 26, a group of 7 people from the practice team arrived on the line as scheduled and arrived at the destination at 4:00. Our arrival was warmly received by the leaders of Houpu Village and the Zehui Center. We informed the village leaders about the practical arrangements for these days and learned about the general situation of Houpu Village. Ye Zhishang, deputy secretary of the village, said that the two village committees enthusiastically supported the practice and will fully cooperate. In our contact with the principal, we found that due to the lack of maintenance funds for the school computer room, the original three-day course can only be compressed to two days, which means that our arrangements must be changed again.
