During the summer vacation, I conducted a five-day social practice activity in Anhui with the Department of Social Practice. The main event venue is China University of Science and Technology. Our main venue is China University of Science and Technology. It is one of the few top universities in China in the inland provinces. After 30 years of construction in Hefei, HKUST now has two campuses, East and West. The campus environment is very elegant. The department belongs to the Chinese Academy of Sciences. The advanced basic experimental facilities are a major feature of the University of Science and Technology. Just take the "National Synchrotron Radiation Laboratory" we visited as an example: this laboratory covers an area of ​​100,000 square meters, consisting of 200MeV electron linear accelerator, 800MeV electronic storage ring, and six synchronization. The radiation beam line is composed of six test stations. This laboratory was built in the late 1980s and was completed and put into use in the early 1990s. It is not only at the leading level in China, but also has a place in the field of international synchrotron radiation. There are more and more users of this experiment, and the fields involved are becoming more and more wide. The students of HKUST can get close to the most advanced development of the profession and the cross-disciplinary research in many fields, and their advantages in scientific research ability. It is indeed unmatched by other schools.
Extraordinary children's education is also a major feature of the University of Science and Technology. In 1978, the juvenile class founded by the Chinese University of Science and Technology opened the precedent of super-children's higher education in China, and the juvenile class has been in the world for more than 20 years, and the student base of the juvenile class is solid. The comprehensive 貭素高 is getting more and more people's approval. We even felt this when we had a discussion with the teachers and classmates of the HKUST Junior Class. The investigation at the Hefei Branch of the Chinese Academy of Sciences has opened the eyes of those who have rarely touched the cutting-edge physical laboratory equipment. The Institute of Plasma Physics is a research institute of our focus, which is mainly engaged in plasma physics. Research on controlled nuclear fusion technology and related technologies. Its main experimental devices include the superconducting tokamak device, which also has the highest 200,000 Gaussian hybrid magnets in China and the largest cryogenic liquid helium liquid nitrogen system in China. The role of HT_7 is mainly to study related theories such as nuclear fusion. Look at this classic physics theory into a group of experimental instruments, a familiar test equipment is displayed in front of us. Our joy is full of words, and we finally see that the physics theory we have learned over the years has really played a role. This kind of experience is really good. We have a deeper understanding of the physics knowledge we have learned before. Along with the Institute of Plasma Physics, many of the Hefei Branches of the Chinese Academy of Sciences are located on a small island with beautiful scenery on three sides. Comrade Jiang Zemin personally wrote the "science island" for the island. Now the island is becoming more and more the focus of the students of related majors. A group of outstanding young scientists have taken root here, sprouted and made great achievements.
Xiaogang Village in Fengyang County is a stop for our practical activities. It used to be the vanguard of rural reform in China. Under the leadership of a dynamic new team, Xiaogang Village has also opened a new chapter. Xiaogang Village is located in the central part of Anhui Province. The natural conditions are general. After ten years of catastrophe in the Cultural Revolution, the life of the peasants has become more and more difficult. The current village chief Yan Jiachang wants our practice group to carry out the contract responsibility system for contracting them: in 19178, most of the villagers passed the days when they didn’t go down again. The reason is not that the crops are not growing in the ground. The people who grow crops are not at the heart. At that time, the big pot rice system was about eating rice, eating everyone, living in a house, doing more and doing the same. This seemingly perfect system seriously damped the enthusiasm of the majority of farmers. After a long period of communalization, many people do not think about progress. The result is a vicious circle. The whole village is hungry and frozen. There will be no pies falling in the sky. The eighteen villagers in the village will wake up first. It is better to separate them from such starvation. There may be a way to live. But at the time it was a risk of breaking the policy and killing the head. Although they signed the contract to write who is going to be taken away, others raise their children to 18 years old, but in the years when they are not enough to eat, who will manage other children? At that time, the people who did the big bag were holding the idea of ​​not stealing and stealing anyway. A year later, the relevant national policies were promulgated, and the Xiaogang villagers dared to let go. Today's Xiaogang Village is no longer guilty of food and clothing. The villagers are not only based on the land that has been grown for generations, but also lead to outreach, road construction, and create a more brilliant tomorrow. After listening to this story, we are not only impressed by the politics of the Xiaogang Village, the daring and the character. At the same time, there are deeper thoughts on rural issues. In the past, when we thought of these peasants again, we have deepened our understanding of the responsibilities and tasks of our college students. It is the people of Xiaogang Village who have learned this!
During the trip to Hefei, we saw the style of our classmates under the ivory tower, the style of high-tech researchers in the field of physics, and the past and present of the majority of farmers in China. All of this is something that can't be learned in books. This visit is even more enlightening me to think about my values, roles and responsibilities. As an explorer in the field of physics, we are going to work hard and strive hard. We are saying that "there is no end to things, and transportation is always."
