2012 volunteer's practice report

Volunteer activities are a social atmosphere that advocates unity, friendship, happiness, and courage. It is a very noble cause of contemporary Chinese socialism. It reflects the traditional virtues of the Chinese nation to help others and help the poor. It is a promising cause. On the morning of July 3, I just finished the test. In the afternoon, the college and the mobilization meeting for volunteers at the Science and Technology Museum. I am deeply sorry that my classmates were unable to attend because of my visit. But I am also happy to be able to complete the volunteer tasks in full and sufficient time to find a good plan for summer social practice. In our volunteer team, I am just an ordinary one, not a team leader, but I have a deeper understanding of what to do as a volunteer, and at the same time, through the initial contact with the society, I also have a personal experience. That is, I am more and more deeply aware that our society is still unfair. There is a gap between the rich and the poor. Everyone, especially college students, needs to work hard to improve this.

Let me talk about the basic situation of volunteer work. Every morning at 7:30, we take a super slow bus to the Science and Technology Museum on the east side of Quancheng Square. It wastes about an hour and a half on the road. Usually, when you arrive at 9:00, you will be directly employed. The Science and Technology Museum is divided into four floors. About 7 people on each floor are responsible for arranging and supervising our work. Our work is simple but also very boring. Of course, it is also a test. I hate to deal with children from a young age, but I have to look at a boring train model. Many children and their parents are waiting in line. Go up and play. I have to master the time for each child to play the train, otherwise the children will be able to cope, and their parents will stand behind me and feel furious at me. I was really annoyed later, but also told the children that the model was quite boring, don't wait in line, boring, go play other things. This is certainly not what a volunteer should do. When the model is not in the presentation time, I have to work with a partner in a booth to explain some things to the person asking the question, but it seems that everyone, including adults and children, is not interested, except for someone with a differential. Ask other. It may be that those things are too complicated, and parents feel that they will learn that the children will have no future, because it is a steam engine, a diesel engine, and it looks ugly and complicated.

Another job I did at the Science and Technology Museum was even greater – look at the elevator, hehe. However, this is more than a diesel engine to challenge and ask. I looked at the escalator at the top floor. The escalator was running up most of the time. From time to time, a child ran over and had to run against it. As a watchman in a wheat field, the task was to stop them from falling off the cliff. I have a lot of drinking because I am more fierce and they are afraid. However, there are several successes that fall countercurrently, and there are still several falls. I don't feel sorry at all, I think they deserve it. The adults seem to be very interested in them. They all came to ask me, how many layers of the Science and Technology Museum are there? Is there any elevator going down? I doubt it. Can they not see it? But we are still very patient.

In the event, the most welcome of us is the children. They often say, "You are doing this very well. I hope that you will come every day!" Parents think that we have solved a big problem for children's extracurricular knowledge education. The long-standing problem of insufficient staff on the holiday season has also disappeared because of our arrival. Maybe we have lost a lot of time and energy. However, the reward we receive is more and more encouragement and care. However, in the face of honor, we feel that the burden on our shoulders is even heavier. How to make the activities better and more meaningful, let more people come to know China's glory for five thousand years, is our duty and mission.

The duty of volunteers is to serve others. We use practical actions to vividly and concretely explain the true spirit of volunteer service. During our work, we have different areas of responsibility, each with different responsibilities, but the service areas are not limited to their own jobs. We insist on the idea that there is no limit to real service. On the basis of handling our work, we can take the initiative to go to other places to help other volunteers maintain order, answer questions from visitors, or use the rest time as a guide for visitors, lead them to visit the exhibition hall and conduct one by one for each exhibit. Commentary. Our enthusiastic and positive service attitude and comprehensive and meticulous work have won the praise of the visitors.

Although we work in different jobs, our work standards, our obligations, and the starting point of our volunteer service are the same. During the break or during lunch, we sat around and exchanged work experiences, work feelings, work experience, problems encountered in the work, and brainstorming for solutions. Or from the description of others to find out the problems of the other party at work, point out and tell him how to avoid the recurrence of such problems. Through communication, we can not only do our work better, but also further improve ourselves, and also promote cooperation between team members, adding a harmonious atmosphere to both the team and the science and technology museum.

These days, I pay more attention to the children's interest in different things. They are not interested in the seven stumps of the presentation tone, but they are fascinated by the rocket returning to the parachute; they are electromagnetic induction and high voltage. There is no interest in the placement, but there is interest in several computer games in the exhibition hall; they are not interested in jet engines, but they queue up for the virtual boring train model for so long; they are conserving the momentum of the demonstration angle. Things are not interested, but they drive a forklift model to shovel balloons. What I want to say is that their direction of interest is too singular, and they all develop in a direction of simplicity and entertainment. This is a science and technology museum, not a playground. If they come to find entertainment, there are some professional places, why come to the Science and Technology Museum? What? Not only children, but also adults, they seem to be afraid of those complicated things, no wonder their children. In the meantime, a parent talked to me and saw the clothes of the School of Energy and Power Engineering that I wore. She immediately said that you are from Shandong University of Technology. I said yes, it was originally a mountain worker, XX Since the beginning of the year, Shanda is big. He also said that he is looking for a job. I said that the employment rate is still very high. She also suggested to go to the civil servants and said that the civil servants of their units are well tested. However, we need not only civil servants, but also people who need to do the same as diesel engines. From this, I realized that our college is not prosperous because of the misunderstanding of these people and their lack of support for us. I am worried about their children.

Besides, the ticket for the Science and Technology Museum is 10 yuan, which is actually not expensive. But will poor people come with their children? In the days of the Science and Technology Museum, there are a number of groups to visit. They are wearing uniform clothes and wearing uniform hats. They also write about what is igniting technology and what I have forgotten. It means to provide them with these people. A chance to get in touch with technology so that they are interested in it. This should actually be a collective visit organized for the children of the poor. Everyone will think so. But they all seem to be rich children, because they are holding a mobile phone, a digital camera, and shooting. I think again, the government gave the opportunity to the wrong person. They are not endless, so they also violate the original intention of the government. They are just a little away from the city center and usually do not come often. Thinking of this, I am thinking about where they will wear t-shirts with uniform texts. Will they wear them after this time? Will their parents wear it? I don't think so. The poor never have a chance to come here, even if they have time to have money, although many people in this place are dismissive.

Now, as a member of the science and technology volunteers, when I complete this report, I have not only commemorated the unremitting efforts of the past to get out of the predicament, but also hope for the future to create new achievements. And our wish is only one: Let our efforts of one inch and one inch turn into the enthusiasm and dedication of volunteer activities, let more people enter the team of science and technology volunteers. I have observed and experienced this. When I practice it later, I must go deeper into society and understand the society.
