A clear sky - summer social practice report


Under the call of the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, on the morning of July 22, 14 teachers and students of the School of Engineering embarked on a car to Zhoujia Village, Bianbu Village, Pingdu City, and began a five-day social practice.
Zhoujia Village is located in Cuijiaji Town, southwest of Pingdu City. It has a population of more than 230 households and more than 800 people. The village has 1550 mu of cultivated land and 1.2 million fixed assets. The economic income is mostly for economic crops. The annual production value is 1221. Ten thousand yuan. Since 1992, the village has planted 6,000 persimmon trees in six main streets and several alleys. In the late autumn, red fruits and green trees, such as the clouds, such as the morning glow, are breathtaking. It is reported that this year alone can create an economic income of more than 400,000 yuan for the whole village, that is, beautifying the environment and creating economic income. The villages in the vicinity are eager to follow suit and become a major feature of Zhoujia Village.
It is understood that the village has 200 acres of orchards, with an annual income of more than 800,000 yuan, and is currently actively cultivating new varieties. In addition, the village is preparing to create deep processing of economic crops and many sideline businesses to achieve the flexibility and autonomy of economic development.

One hundred square meters
Walking into Zhoujiacun, the first impression that surprised me and imagined was the environment of Zhoujiacun.
Zhoujiacun, located in the northwest of Qingdao, is no longer a distance away from the sea. There is no sea breeze here, and it can only rely on one side of the flat land, and work hard from generation to generation. This is true in rural China and typical of rural China.
Zhoujiacun's housing is a collective building, streets and alleys, tree houses, and there are traces of neglect. Obviously this is a trace of reform and opening up, and it is also a side of rural development. In the past two decades of reform and opening up, for the rural areas with the majority of the population, the concept of "village urbanization" has been deeply rooted in the hearts of the people.
Of course, housing is not only a reflection of the standard of living in the city. In the countryside, he also represents the overall strength of a village. In the five days of my practice, Zhoujiacun, the traffic is very strange, and the requirements for "village urbanization" are in place. "Village urbanization", as its name implies, is gradually built on the existing basis of the village, and gradually moves toward the urbanization model. Among them, "village" is a feature, and "urbanization" is a goal. Of course, urbanization on the basis of existing land and folk customs in rural areas is quite complicated. We know that there is a big gap between urban and rural areas in terms of geographical location and economic foundation. Some of them are very small. However, some of them are judged to be muddy, which also determines that this process is necessarily a step-by-step process.
At this point, I suddenly thought of the construction of Huaxi Village. Of course, Zhoujiacun's current economic strength is not as good as that of Huaxi Village. However, as a typical example of the development of rural China, there must be inextricable links among them, and this is the focus we are looking for. The practice of Huaxi Village proves that a village must be driven by a large wheel. This wheel can be a farmer, but it can be a forestry and animal husbandry. However, from the many examples of success today, economic development is a big direction. From the current system of Zhoujiacun, deep processing of crop seed production is very necessary.
The construction of Zhoujiacun was successful. However, he also has many drawbacks. Of course, unified housing is a manifestation of the economic strength of a village. However, if it is not estimated that the change in the economic strength of the whole village is likely to cause some direction of suppression, this suppression is sometimes very huge.
Judging from the survey of villagers in Zhoujia Village, many of them have a tendency to improve existing housing. That is to say, no matter which rural area, unified housing is difficult, building houses must take into account many factors. Qizhong seeks a balance point, and this inevitably violates the policy of some people getting rich first, which affects the entire process of urbanization.
The dense persimmon trees are surrounded by rows of neatly arranged houses under the breeze. There are many rural features and how much urbanization is built. This is a reality before us. It requires different levels of housing construction to answer.

When I came to Zhoujiacun, another one that impressed me was the life of Zhoujiacun people. Housing conditions are the embodiment of material civilization, while spiritual life is related to the construction of a village spiritual civilization.
Material civilization determines spiritual civilization, and spiritual civilization counteracts material civilization. For the rural areas, economic development is the premise, spiritual civilization must follow the material civilization, so that it will not lose coordination under the premise of the rural economy.
In his spare time, he walked away from the streets and lanes of Zhoujia Village. Every evening, when the sun sets, there are a lot of old people gathered together. Some of them shoot the ball, while others draw the ground for the game. They fight with a branch and a stone. At this time, people tend to be surrounded by a group of laughter and laughter, and the old people in the village are very happy.
It is reported that Zhou Jiacun has never had criminal cases in the past decades. Especially since the village secretary Zhou Yunshan took office for 28 years, spiritual civilization has been closely following the construction of material civilization, and it is a typical spiritual and civilized village known far and wide.
The Communist Party of China is the vanguard of the Chinese working class. What kind of political party is directly affecting people's lives. The good spirit of Zhou Jiacun is, in the final analysis, inseparable from the leadership of the party. The members of the two committees headed by Secretary Zhou are strict with themselves, adhere to the principle of party style and party spirit, and gradually make the party members of the entire village fulfill the requirements of the "three represents", thus satisfying the various needs of the people and achieving unity in the whole village. A good situation to contribute to the reality.

Five days of social practice, Zhou Jiacun gave me the most impressive person is their village secretary Zhou Yunshan. In the newspaper, I saw an article titled "Zhou Jiacun Three Questions" which stated that he and the village women director went out to the table when others went to the table, but they had four eggs and two bowls of noodles. A little thing in life, but how big it is, I think everyone is very clear.
The current political system of Zhoujia Village is very perfect. From the village committee of the Party branch to the three-life service group of "Life, Production, and Fertility", they all perform their duties and work diligently. The "three represents" requires the Chinese Communist Party to be built to represent the requirements for the development of productive forces; to represent the direction of Chinese cultural development; and to represent the most fundamental interests of the people. Four fruit trees, silver flowers, mulberry
Through the practice in the past few days, I deeply feel that development has always been the top priority of Zhoujiacun.
As the saying goes, "The mountain is eaten by the mountains, and the sea is eaten by the sea." Zhoujiacun does not rely on mountains or sea, but can only rely on the cultivated land with less than two acres of land per capita. In the past few years, they have signed contracts with South Korea and Hong Kong to jointly develop the seed economy. This current contract specifically provides seeds for seed production from South Korea and Hong Kong. After the fall, the crops are mature and the villagers carry out simple processing and then recycle them. After years of hard work, the current income per mu of the village has reached: 10,000 yuan for pepper; 5,000 yuan for zucchini; 4000 yuan for tomatoes.
It can be said that this is the result of reform and opening up. In the past few years, Zhou Jiacun has embarked on the road to prosperity. However, this kind of economic system for many years has not made the villagers comfortable. South Korea has deep-processed these recovered seeds and made them into brand sales, benefiting from them and making huge profits.
Zhou Jiacun is not without funds to carry out deep processing of economic crops. The difficulty lies in the fact that the processed seeds are not sold. Therefore, Zhoujiacun must take the road of self-reliance and must have a larger company to set up a production plant here, establish a relatively complete production process, and achieve a one-stop production and sales. Only in this way will Zhoujia Village really develop, and the villagers will be comfortable.
Regardless of the income of persimmons or the income of fruit trees, these are not the general direction of the development of Zhoujia Village, and can only be regarded as auxiliary industries. As a result, Zhoujiacun began to look at the sideline industry. The construction of the aquaculture industry has not yet formed a large climate in Zhoujiacun. This is not because they have no conditions, but because the rural economy is weak, and the ability of the villagers to withstand risks is poor. On the whole, there are many roads that Zhoujiacun can take, but the road is full of thorns. It is by no means easy to move.
In the final analysis, science and technology is the primary productive force. Zhoujia Village, which is in the forefront of modern rural areas, has not neglected the magic of science and technology. They have invited a large number of experts and scholars to make reports and lead them to the fields to guide villagers to carry out planting and production. The new era requires people to respect knowledge, respect science, use knowledge, and apply science. Scientific farming, scientific Xingcun has increasingly become the top priority in the hearts of the entire village, which requires the investment of education, Zhou Jiacun said that it also did.
Five bright windows
The first contact with Zhou Jiaguo was on the second day, neat classrooms, and a few windows. The school is not big, but don't have a bit of love. This time, the most important thing in our practice is to set up a remedial class to teach in the countryside.
We have set up three remedial classes, language math classes, English classes, computer classes, and the children in the village are very active. They rushed to register and rushed to the school half an hour earlier. I am often moved, these unusually naughty children on the week are up to class, but they are full of energy and concentration. We get along very well. Under the class, they often put us together and listen to the historical stories from ancient and modern China and abroad.
Zhou Jiaguo teaches students from 6 villages. Zhou Jiacun is very rich, but they know the meaning and requirements of rich, neat computer room, chic newspaper column, and learn in this environment, the children are happy. They are the flowers of the motherland tomorrow, they are eager for the moisture of the knowledge rain.
"Education must be oriented towards modernization, facing the world, and facing the future." This requires the search for an updated system on the basis of adhering to the existing education system. The national government must increase the investment in education. If it suffers, it will not be able to suffer from the child; In the context of the development of the contemporary world, the competition of knowledge has gradually become the center of comprehensive national strength competition. The strategy of "rejuvenating the country through science and technology" has been deeply rooted in the hearts of the people. Zhou Jiacun's education system is perfect. In a nutshell, Zhou Jiaguo is training technical talents who can build their homes. To put it bluntly, it is to send a batch of intellectuals to the country. Five days of Zhoujiacun's life, feelings of the same heart, a lot of laughter, a lot of nostalgia, Zhou Jiacun is not perfect, at least in my impression there is a slight gap. However, Zhoujiacun is beautiful, with a patch of melon fields, rows of dense yellow smoke, and fruit trees, silver flowers, cattle and sheep crops.
