In order to resound the call of the school, I finally decided to go to Xinxiang Pump Factory Co., Ltd. for social practice activities. I participated in the social practice survey activity at the Xinxiang Pump Factory from August 1st to 15th.

Xinxiang Pump Factory Co., Ltd. is a well-known enterprise in Xinxiang City. It mainly produces various pumps, such as industrial pumps and large pumps. It has more than 200 employees, including excellent leaders and some first-class Office workers, senior technical designers, skilled operators, and some apprentices, with independent cutting workshops, turning workshops, and installation workshops, the entire processing process to achieve assembly line processing methods, workers in their own jobs Operate your own machine tool, process and produce, and the whole production process is well organized.

When I first arrived at the company, I found the manager of the factory, Mr. Chen, and Manager Chen told me about the production and assembly of the processing workshop. I also briefly introduced what kind of talents the company needs now. I gave a preliminary understanding of the basic situation of the plant. In addition, he told me about the development status of the factory and then led me to the front line of processing and production. The first thing I heard there was the sound of the machine tool. The workers there were all working in front of their work tools, and some of them were holding special measuring tools to measure the size of the workpiece. Unacceptable deviations occur. Secondly, I saw some processed and assembled finished products there. The pumps are used differently, of course, the size is different, but the types of processed parts are basically the same.

As a college student majoring in mechanical engineering, we should understand the basic production and processing methods and processes, so in order to combine with the theoretical knowledge we have learned, I carefully watch the operation of the worker's master in the processing workshop, and learn the processing method from it. Therefore, you can have a little practical work experience in the future processing and production process.

First of all, I came to the blanking workshop. There is a broaching machine on which the keyway can be machined. I used to just teach the teachers of our professional class to talk about the structure and working principle of the broaching machine. I have never seen a broaching machine, so when I look at it It was a surprise when I pulled the bed, because now the broaching machine is not a lot in the factory. Its broach material is made of high-speed steel, which is quite complicated to manufacture. It has a certain tooth height difference between the teeth and the teeth. The outer teeth are a little higher than the inner teeth, which can broach the workpiece, so the cost of the broach It is very expensive, and the precision of the keyway it processes is also the highest. The sawing machine is mainly used for sawing raw materials. In order to carry out the next step of production smoothly, there must be a certain supply of raw materials in the factory. Otherwise, the production of the factory cannot be carried out smoothly, so the sawing process is also very important. .
Then I came to the turning shop, where some of the lathes were old-fashioned lathes, because some of them were very large, mainly processing the pump parts of some pumps, and the chucks needed to fix the workpieces on the lathe. But how is such a huge workpiece installed on it? There is a special crane in the factory, which can hoist the workpiece to the proper position, and then the worker master can physically load the workpiece onto the chuck to achieve the required requirements. The tools for lathe machining are also varied and used to machine different workpieces. Machining threads on a lathe is a very technical task. If the feed is not well controlled, the processed product will become a waste product. So when I watched the masters processing the threads, they were all careful. There was no sloppy intention. The workpieces were completely in line with the requirements of the drawings. I think that is because of the professional production, and because of the mechanics. The masters have a wealth of processing experience. The milling machine and the grinding machine are also in the processing workshop. The milling machine mainly processes the keyway. The various keyways can be processed on the milling machine. The machining accuracy is quite high. Because the installation requires a certain precision in the installation of the pump, the workers are all Meticulous focus on processing and production. The grinding machine mainly processes the workpiece with high end face precision. It is generally used in the factory, but it can meet the precision requirements of the workpiece installation. The drilling machine is a machine tool for drilling holes. It can process a wide variety of holes. Most of the machines used in the factory are now universal rocker drilling machines. It is easy to use and requires two people to work together because it is very large when drilling. The vibration, so one can grasp the position of the drill bit, and the other person fixes the workpiece. Only in this way can the large deviation occur during processing.

Finally, I came to the installation workshop, where there were all kinds of parts and an assembly drawing. Some of the workers’ masters held various tools, some looked at the drawings, and some adjusted the position of the workpieces. The accuracy of the installation can be guaranteed.

During my stay in the factory for a while, I often consulted with the workers' masters about the processing methods and process characteristics. The masters were very responsive to me. The workers’ masters said that the factory will implement fixed production. If you complete the quota for one day, you can get the salary you deserve. If your processing exceeds the prescribed tasks, the extra processing tasks can be paid according to the number of pieces. Mobilize the production enthusiasm of the workers' masters, which can greatly improve work efficiency. I also made some suggestions to the workers' masters for the production of the factory: 1. When processing, it is necessary to remove the chips on the work surface and the tool in time to prevent the chips from adversely affecting the processed parts. 2. When processing the workpiece, try to improve the precision of the machining to facilitate the installation of the pump and improve the mechanical efficiency of the pump during operation. 3. After the workpiece is processed, the lighting of the machine tool should be turned off during the rest, which can save certain power resources. The above points are just my personal opinions.
