Social practice report on tourism

Since the beginning of the "11" last year, tourism has been popular throughout the country, tourists from various tourist attractions have surged, and tourism revenue has risen rapidly. At the same time, tourism services and other aspects have also exposed some problems. In the peak period of summer tourism, in order to understand the people's demand for tourism and its views, the China Economic Climate Monitoring Center and the CCTV "China Financial Report" have conducted nearly 600 urban residents in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou. A random sample questionnaire was conducted. The results show:

Travel preferred train form prefers self-help

According to the survey, if traveling at their own expense, the train, the aircraft are considered in terms of price, time and comfort. 66.9% and residents are more willing to take the train, and 24.5% of the residents prefer to take the flight, indicating that the train is the current majority. The preferred means of transportation for residents to travel. At the same time, 38.5% of residents are more willing to personal self-help travel in the form of two kinds of holiday travels, including group and self-help. The main reason is the freedom of personal self-help travel, including free choice of transportation, bus routes and attractions, as well as savings. And can save some unnecessary trouble. 16.2% of the residents are more willing to choose to travel with the group. The main reason is that the group tour is safe and worry-free, the atmosphere is lively, and new friends can be made. In addition, 36.9% of residents indicated that they would be subject to availability.

Most residents affirm the holiday travel style and its promotion to tourism and economic development

Regarding the leisure and consumption patterns of longer holiday travels since the “11th” in 1999, 64.3% of the residents expressed their approval, while 23.2% of the residents did not. Specifically, the maximum benefit of residents’ relatively concentrated tourism in a week’s holiday is 41.1% and 26.1% respectively, which is considered to be driving tourism and economic development, because it can promote the tourism industry more powerfully. Developments in the economic fields of transportation, commerce, etc. related to tourism. At the same time, under the current situation that China's residents' consumption demand is seriously insufficient, it is also an effective way to promote the growth of consumer demand. In addition, 29% and 21% of residents respectively believe that the greatest benefit of holiday travel is to relax personal mind and body and increase their knowledge. Because of the increasingly fierce competition and the rapid development of economy, technology and information, the use of longer holidays for tourism can more effectively get rest and all kinds of knowledge and improve the quality of life of residents.

Need to further regulate and strengthen the tourism environment and tourism management

According to the survey, the price of transportation, tickets, catering and other prices fluctuated to varying degrees during the peak period of holiday tourism. For example, only 10.8% of the residents who are traveling expressed their willingness and acceptance, and the residents with the opposite attitude accounted for 13.1%, indicating that the residents who were reluctant but accepted 66.9 %, residents who are reluctant to accept and reluctant but accept 80%. In response to the measures required for the development of the holiday tourism government and relevant departments, 33.4% and 30.6% of the residents respectively considered that they need to increase transportation capacity and regulate tourism companies. 26.8%, 24.2% and 22.3% of the residents respectively suggested strengthening price management. To improve travel services and improve scenic area management, 12.1% of residents advocated the development of new scenic spots, and 2.9% of residents believe that other measures are needed.

It can be seen that the problems reflected by the public on holiday tourism are mainly concentrated on the lack of transportation capacity and the management of tourism companies, prices, tourism services and scenic spots. To develop holiday tourism, we must solve these problems reflected by the people, and gradually explore and form a holiday tourism model that conforms to its laws and public requirements. At the same time, only by continuously increasing the income of residents can the holiday tourism and the economic highlights continue.
