How to deal with students' absenteeism

Frequent school absenteeism is the most difficult thing for teachers. For these students, we can't simply punish things. I think we should focus on doing ideological work; supplemented with some necessary treatments, but we must also grasp the scale of their criticism. 1. Find out the reasons why students skip class and propose solutions to the reasons. Of course, there are many different methods. In fact, many methods are external factors. The most fundamental solution is to change them from the students' minds. What the class teacher can do is to help them as much as possible in their study and life, and the main reason for avoiding skipping classes is to look at the students themselves. Students are the main body of teaching. From the perspective of educational psychology, students' skipping behavior is a normal psychology, and we cannot completely adopt the method of blocking, and we must combine various methods. Seriously analyze this very common and normal phenomenon, but connivance is not acceptable. The class teacher should adopt a method of diversion, be close to the students, understand their inner world, kill the escape class in the cradle, let the learning and upward thoughts occupy their spiritual realm.

2, moving with emotion, knowing the truth, in the classroom to carry out ideological and moral education for students. Tell the students: For our study, the hard work of the parents; from the younger age, we must cultivate the concept of obeying the law, the importance of knowledge, the lack of effort, the sadness of the boss and so on. As a teacher, the student’s absenteeism should not be sloppy. We should have a student heart for the teacher, because we are from the students. It is a pity that many of our teachers , as if they were teachers, have forgotten that they used to be children. They used to be students. They even thought that they were good when they were students. They couldn’t understand it for their own students. Not pleasing to the eye, always love to criticize the right and blame the right, the old man said, "How can students now do this?"

3. For some students who have difficulty skipping classes, we must give help, but also give praise and encouragement, because she is hardworking and filial after all. A few years ago, my class had a student with excellent academic performance. Later, there were frequent absenteeism and lack of concentration during class, and the results plummeted. I did not immediately criticize it, but through understanding, to find out the reasons: the parents of the students go out to work, the grandmother is sick at this time, she has to take care of the sick grandmother, but also take care of the younger brother's study and life, and can't attend to study. After I knew it, I mobilized the students to help her in her daily life. I opened a small stove for her dropped lessons. After everyone's joint efforts, she has turned back to the former students who have excellent academic performance.

For the students' absenteeism, our teachers should not handle simple treatment. There must be a reasonable educational method. Education is not equal to treatment. Education requires wisdom and requires patience and love.
