Student Affairs Department's work summary for the first half of the year

The work of the Students' Union will soon be over. At the end of the year, I will summarize the work of the Ministry of Sports in this school year. I hope that we can summarize the advantages and disadvantages of our work and provide some reference for future work.

In the past year, our sports department has organized a number of activities. At the beginning of the first semester, our sports department organized the "Welcome to the Newborn" Cup Basketball League. In this league, the performance of each professional team is very exciting. This basketball game promoted the feelings between new and old students and made them more familiar with each other. In short, this basketball game is the best gift for the new students, and also prepares for the new work of the sports department.

After the end of the basketball league, our sports department began to recruit new jobs. This time, there are a lot of freshmen enrolled in the new recruits. Through lectures and interviews, six new officers with strong work ability and serious responsibility are selected to absorb fresh blood for the sports department and help the development of the sports department. At the beginning of the second semester, the student union began the general election. The Ministry of Sports, like other departments, elected a new minister and deputy minister through the election campaign. The work of the sports department is gradually on the right track.

In March, our sports department cooperated with the work of the Department of Culture and Sports, selected players to participate in the table tennis game, and finally won the third place in the software office. This is the result of the hard work of the players.

In April, the second "Sugawara" Cup football match at the Beijing base of Fuzhou University was held as scheduled by many football fans. Since this is the first large-scale event organized by the new sports department, the preparation time is not enough. The problems considered are not comprehensive enough and the experience is insufficient. As a result, some problems have arisen during the opening ceremony and the competition. For example, At the opening ceremony, the host appeared not in place, and the referee did not arrive in time during the game. Although there are not enough places, the results of the competition are still satisfactory. The visual professional team won the championship and the graphic image professional team won the runner-up. The annual basketball league of the cadre also started, and our department organized the training of the players. The final men’s basketball team won the second place and the women’s basketball team won the third place. This is the result of the hard training of the players.

In May, we hosted the first Fuzhou University All-Star Weekend event. From the start of the notice to the end of the registration process, there are only two days. Although the time is short, the students are very motivated and are actively enrolled, and there are also counselors. This activity requires both a certain basketball skill and a strong interest, which is liked by the students. In addition, the "Nine-Person System" football game of the Confucius Institute began, and the software office won the runner-up.

In June, in order to send out the juniors of our junior year, our department cooperated with the department to organize the "Send the Juniors" Cup basketball friendly match, and all the professional and faculty teams participated actively. The game was fierce, but some problems were found in the competition. For example, the referee was not fixed in time and was not prepared. Due to lack of manpower, there was a lack of scorekeepers and lack of referees in the competition. In order to avoid the next situation, our department will recruit more officers when recruiting next time. The “Sports Competition” in the courtyard also started. Our department also cooperated with the work of the Academy of Culture and Sports to organize players to participate in the competition.

At this point, the work of the Student Union has entered the final stage. In general, during the year, the work of the Ministry of Sports was supported by teachers and classmates. Although there were some shortcomings, it was still very successful. I believe that in the future work, we will do better and will go even better.
