Semi-semester student union work summary

In the twinkling of an eye, I have been working in the student union for half a year. I haven’t really summed up what I have learned. I will take this opportunity today to talk about my feelings about working in the student union .

First, the basic situation of the individual

I am a freshman in the law school of the School of Grammar and Art. In September, with a few shackles and a few sorrows, I walked into the Youth Volunteers Association of the Student Union of the East China Institute of Technology – the department of “service first, harmony first”. I hope to do my best to help the students who really need help and become a veritable young volunteer.

Second, the work done

My role in the Young Volunteers Association is mainly the role of the internal secretary. The main task is to strengthen communication between the minister and the officer, to understand the relevant activities of the department in advance, to better carry out, and to do before each activity. Third, the overall review of the work

In the first half of the semester, the Youth Volunteers Association of this department has always adhered to the correct leadership of the Party Committee of the College, adhering to the fundamental purpose of “serving for the students”, carrying out self-education and self-management activities, and assisting the colleges to create a good teaching order. And study the living environment, and strive to improve the work and do better. Carrying out the tenet of "serving wholeheartedly for the majority of students", fully carrying forward the style of "service first, harmony first", taking service as the core, and promoting the all-round growth of all students as a goal, the work has achieved gratifying results, and is summarized as follows :

1. Welfare homes visit old people

In mid-October, the department went to the welfare home to visit the old people. In the early stage, the relevant preparations were made, such as buying the items needed for the visit. This event was put into action, and the enthusiasm was very high and achieved satisfactory results. The activities not only gave help to the disabled in the society, but also increased the practical experience of our young volunteers. Everyone has a lot of emotions for this activity.

2. Assisting the school's living room to conduct ballroom dance training and promotion

This event made our department officers understand that every department of the student union is not isolated. Everyone is one. From this activity, we feel the greatness of collective strength and the importance of unity.

3. International Deaf Day Love Donation and Organizing Donation Activities for Tan Yi

Both of these activities belong to the donation category. Before each activity, my duty is to arrange the staff on duty to be on duty at the corner of the headquarters and the dining hall in the Southern District. All of our officers carry forward the team spirit, with division of labor and collaboration. Seriously trying to do the best, achieved good results, and made some contributions to the society, made due contributions, and made me realize the great power of love, as long as everyone Dedicating a little love, you can also return the sky of love to those who need help!

4. Volunteer recruitment activities

Volunteer recruitment activities are mainly carried out by the department and Fuzhou City Love Supermarket to help people in the society who need help, to do things that can do what they can, such as helping the disabled and helping the disabled. Before the event, the department had sent an officer to visit the Fuzhou Aixin Supermarket to understand the relevant situation. The future work laid the foundation. During the activity, the officers of the department were quite active and arrived at the prescribed time. The corner of the canteen was on duty, patiently answering the questions of the students, and the activity achieved the expected results.

5. Call for the "Financial Crisis" text contest

A financial crisis on the other side of the ocean swept the world, and China was hardly immune from its influence. Under this circumstance, the department launched the “Financial Crisis” essay contest, so that the majority of students can express their own voices. They also participated actively and took the lead. I also believe that this essay contest will be a complete success!

The nature of my work determines that I can actively participate in the organization of the event. There are more natural harvests. I have been deeply touched by the work of the student union in the past two months.

First of all, everyone's enthusiasm has infected me. Each of our student union cadres started from scratch. In order to make the performance of this student union go down in history, we have tried our best. We not only organized the department. Internal activities, but also actively undertake school-level activities, have achieved good results. Although there are not many activities in the half-semester, but our efforts are obvious to everyone, constantly writing various plans, hoping to be in their own responsibility When we create a precedent for our own departmental work, we can't just look at the results, we must see every detail and every process that everyone pursues for the ideal.

Secondly, the friendship that everyone has generated from work is quite profound. Although our work is hard, and this cannot hide the happiness we have gained after we have overcome difficulties together. In order to be successful and strive to be perfect, everyone still can I worked hard together and felt very happy. Everyone did give up a lot of their own for this job. In addition, our president and secretary-general are also very good to us, and everyone is very happy together.

Finally, let's talk about the harvest. The biggest gain in the work is the harvest of practical experience and friendship. It’s the student union that brought us together. In addition, we learned that it is impossible for a person to do only one thing at a time, and it is also a growth for us to arrange various things.

V. Suggestions for the development of the Student Union

As we all know, the Student Union is the largest student organization among our students. It is the best platform for students to train themselves and improve their abilities. Whether it is a college student union or a student union , we must admit that all aspects of the students who have experienced the work of the student union will have a certain improvement compared with before, and some even have a great impact on life. Here, I would like to make the following suggestions for the future development of the Student Union :

1. I hope that the presidium of the superior leadership can communicate with the officers of various departments. For the new officers who have just entered the student union , they always have a sense of reverence for the leadership of the presidium. If this happens, it will inevitably remain. I have a heart, but I feel that if everyone can get together, maybe they can do their jobs better.

2. I hope that the student unions should communicate and contact with the student unions of each institution to organize the activities instead of simply organizing their own activities. If they can communicate with each other, there will be more and more experiences, and the overall Development is also very helpful.
