After graduating from college and becoming a people's policeman, I have worked as a police officer. After I went to work at the Economic Security Office in 1999, the leaders of the department and the Political Department gave us a special training for one month. As a police officer of the Insurance Office, I think that if I want to do my job well, I must first understand the job duties of the Economic Security Office. Focusing on the safety and stability of the shopping malls, establishing and improving the internal security system of the unit, cracking down on and controlling the occurrence of illegal and criminal activities, and striving to explore the reform road of the security work of the shopping malls to ensure that the malls do “five non-occurrences”.

To this end, I believe that the first thing we need to do is to change our mindset when we want to do our own job.

Since China’s official entry into the WTO, China’s reform and opening up has entered a new historical stage. The victory of the 16th National Congress of the Communist Party of China has drawn a new blueprint for development of China's socialist modernization and pointed out the way forward. All of this has created more favorable conditions for public security work and provided a broader space for development. At the same time, the new economic situation has also put forward new and higher requirements for the work of insurance. There are opportunities and challenges. In the face of these new situations and new problems, the first thing we must do is to innovate the system, not the technological innovation, but the innovation of the service concept. Emancipation of the mind is the premise of social change, and changing ideas is the forerunner of all innovations. We must change the following eight concepts to meet the political needs of “building a well-off society in an all-round way”:

First, the privilege is more responsible. At present, the world is advocating "responsible government". The police is the core department of the government. It is also the trend of the general public to propose a "responsible police". The law has given the police a certain "privilege", which is undoubtedly a magic weapon for the police to carry out their duties. But if the exercise of "privilege" is regarded as the only way of existence of the police, and even forgets the responsibility that it should bear, and privilege in front of the people, then the cart before the horse is turned upside down. We are the people's police, the responsibility is more important than Taishan, and we must fulfill the administrative responsibilities given by the party and the people. Only when the privilege is firmly restricted to a certain scope and set strict liability for it, can the real transformation of the power police to the responsible police be realized, and then the shoulder can be shouldered to "consolidate the ruling status of the Communist Party, safeguard the long-term stability of the country, and ensure the people live and work in peace and contentment." Political responsibility.

Second, heavy experience and more innovation In practice, we can easily find that our colleagues are repeating the same mistakes. The main reason is not paying attention to accumulating the experience and lessons of others. Completing the expected training does not mean that you will surely win the battle in actual combat, and you need to experience the experience of others too much. Last year, the Ministry of Public Security proposed to write a typical case textbook to enhance the viability of the police through the process of sorting, seeing, reflecting, and summarizing the case and experience. In the face of the increasing trend of high-tech crimes, traditional methods often appear to be stretched. From the "following the Internet" to the implementation of the "Golden Shield Project", it is an unprecedented pioneering work, which has made a qualitative leap in public security work. Let us be soberly aware that we must continue to improve our ability to innovate, especially our ability to innovate on the basis of experience, in order to achieve a leap in history.

Third, heavy secrecy and more openness The special nature of the police profession requires us to keep secrets, but we must see that although the mystery has produced the so-called authority, it has also created a distance and a gap with the people. In particular, the corruption caused by black-box operations exposed the biggest drawbacks of the mysterious police. The current "openness" has a tendency to change to "empty opening". The system must be used to protect the reality of the public, and truly improve transparency, so that it can be placed under the supervision of taxpayers, so that the people can win the trust. Fourth, heavy power and greater ability The police exercise power in accordance with the law is sacred and inviolable. The spirit of bravely going forward cannot be absent, but when the police are on duty, if they only go forward, they will not use the powers conferred by the law, and will not assume the countermeasures under a few unexpected circumstances, and it will be difficult to successfully complete the task, sometimes even due to carelessness. All are lost. Power and ability complement each other to achieve the desired goal. Moreover, the police's "deterrent" has lost its mystery, power is not a "altitude", and ability is the real amulet. It is necessary to convince people by their own charisma, instead of abusing their power to scare people; to rely on their own fighting ability to conquer people, rather than privilege to threaten people.

Five, heavy skills and greater awareness A strong body is the premise of competent work, but with the development of the four limbs difficult to adapt to the needs of the development of the new situation. Many successful cases tell us that the development of skills is the key to success. In some local public security organs, only the heavy body can neglect the training of the tactical ability of the police. Even the basic inventory skills are not popular among our civilian police. Strengthening the vocational skills training necessary for frontline police is imminent. Emphasizing the training of skills is the basis for the police to complete various tasks, but the correct disposal awareness is a necessary condition for the training results. The level of training is usually high. If there is a lack of overall awareness, service awareness, rule of law awareness, and risk awareness, wartime technology cannot be combined with reality. I am afraid that the wartime will be limited and it will be difficult to achieve the desired social effects. In fact, because there is no risk awareness in advance, many mistakes that should not occur often make the parties themselves unable to believe.

Sixth, the individual is more important to the team It turns out that there is a division of labor that does not cooperate, not only does not form the role of the team, but also vulnerable to loopholes. To reduce mistakes and casualties, the tacit cooperation between the players is essential. In the current complicated situation, we should see the limitations of our own capabilities and must reflect the team spirit. In particular, as a leader, it is necessary to fully mobilize collective wisdom and work enthusiasm while exerting subjective initiative. Only cooperation, mutual care, mutual vigilance, strong and rapid counterattack from different angles, in order to exert an unassailable overall synergy, so that the criminals do not dare to act rashly.

Seventh, the re-examination of the Department to pay more attention to rights The more open legal environment after the accession to the WTO has brought unprecedented challenges to law enforcement, the legal service tasks have increased, and citizens' awareness of legal awareness and rights protection has improved significantly. The police can't be soft-hearted to the offenders, but as a law enforcer, they can't be compatible with any privilege and program specificity. The people's police should consider whether they should prevent violent crimes or arrest criminals and must not exceed the necessary limits. They must not violate the law enforcement program. To avoid unnecessary risk of infringement and to protect and protect the basic human rights of citizens.

Eight, focus on practice and study more "Xiaokang society" is a learning society, lifelong learning is the trend of the times. Law enforcement officials can't wait to take it easy. Not only should we be a police officer with strict law enforcement and enthusiasm in the traditional sense, but also a policeman with the characteristics of the times who possesses the disciplines of Internet technology, foreign languages, sociology, and psychology. Therefore, in addition to work, we must constantly update our knowledge, we should not relax the theoretical study of learning and practice, seek solutions to problems, and adapt to the requirements of the times.

It can be seen that changing the concept is the key and the prerequisite for improving law enforcement capabilities. Both the leader and the general police should recognize its practical significance. Changing the concept can establish a more popular police image and better fulfill the historical mission of “building a well-off society in an all-round way”.

In short, if we are to adapt to and be qualified for our job, we must gradually update our concepts, challenge ourselves, overcome ourselves, establish a new image of the police, and reflect the police spirit of the new era.

After the change of concept, I think that we must start from the following ten aspects, so that we can truly become an excellent police officer:

1, the mentality is better

I feel that whether a person can succeed or not can achieve excellent results mainly depends on his own mentality. Successful people always have a positive attitude: the spirit of optimism, the confidence to win, and the determination to overcome all difficulties. I feel that the difference between people is just a little bit, but the small differences are very different. Numerous facts prove that a person's success or failure, progress or retreat, good or backward, happy or sad, are determined by the mentality of the person. Therefore, I feel that as a people's police, no matter what position, there must be a positive and good attitude. What is a good attitude? That is: the first to be positive thinking; the second to be brave; the third to improve self-confidence; the fourth to enhance courage; the fifth to cultivate sentiment.

2, the mind should live a little

The mind must live and not die. The human brain is the headquarters. When the brain is dead, the iron plate is one piece, and it is self-sufficient. Nothing can be done well. Efficient work is a basic requirement for our people's police. High efficiency means that we must act faster, do things a little more, and have a better effect. Mistakes in public security work mean economic losses for the people, and for the people's police, it means loss of reputation and loss of image. If a policeman makes mistakes in his own work, he will be derelict. However, it is forgivable to accidentally make a mistake. Accepting the lesson, taking the precepts, not repeating it, is still a good policeman. This is all proved by facts, so we attach great importance to it and resolutely eliminate mistakes in our work: First, we must be serious, do things in strict accordance with laws and regulations in our work, and we must not have the slightest deviation; second, we must immediately correct the mistakes. And guarantee the same mistakes will not be committed again next time.

5, innovation should be a little more

Innovation is the soul of a nation's progress, an inexhaustible motive force for a country's prosperity, and a source of vitality for a political party. Usually, good people are excellent innovators. Therefore, each of our people's police must have the courage to break the rules. We must dare to dare to try and dare to do it. We must dare to be first, and we can have innovative desires in everything. Energy sources constantly propose innovation. The proposal is to change the system and mechanism that the public security work cannot adapt to the current situation, and the unreasonable and unrealistic work methods in the past.

6, blame yourself to be stricter

Strictly blaming others, being more responsive to others, always thinking about others, learning to choose tolerance and tolerance, is the good character of being a man, and also one of the important qualities of being a policeman. At work, leaders and our colleagues, or between us and our customers, often have opinions and contradictions because of certain problems. If we only know to blame superiors or others, and do not know the initiative to take responsibility, it will often expand the contradictions. Work is in a state of paralysis. A people's policeman who has the courage to take responsibility will not only reduce his prestige, but will be respected by leaders and understood and supported by others. Therefore, each of our police officers must be strict with their own responsibilities, be more responsive to others, be ethical, be in law, and establish good interpersonal relationships, so that the team's cohesiveness and centripetal force can be strengthened.

7, the character should be higher

Talent is important, and the price of morality is higher. Therefore, in our public security police brigade, veteran comrades and old party members should lead by example and play a leading role in thinking and action. 8, the mouth should be sweeter

Smile and mouth sweetness is actually a good service, business activities to do a good job is a matter of course, and now our economic security office is also promoting service for enterprises. How to do a good job, the most basic, at the very least basic skill is politeness, that is, "speak with anger." I once saw a message saying that the Nanjing Drum Tower Branch changed the police work style, improved the police image, sent police to the hotel, and learned the two-hour smile service from the hotel waiter. 9, less ambiguous

The success of a person depends largely on whether a person is diligent or lazy. Diligence and laziness are two concepts of opposition: it is not necessary for one to be poor. As long as you are diligent, you can become poor and rich. If a person is rich, he will be lazy from the rich, and will be poor and poor. Therefore, as a young policeman, I must work hard and not be comfortable. In the daily work, we should do a good job of prevention and inspection, as well as training for employees and security personnel in the mall; if there are customers who have difficulties, we will help as much as possible under the conditions; in case of the current case, we will try our best to do everything possible. Strive to solve the case and recover the economic loss of customers or businesses.

10, learning should be stricter

The only way to do the above nine points is to learn in place. As the saying goes: "Live to the old school, the endless learning, learning is not satisfied," I want to take learning as the foundation of all work, seize all the time to learn, learn the business knowledge of insurance, learn political economy, learn to be human Living from the book theory, from the actual work of high school, in short, we must make learning become a conscious act!
