During the period of volunteer activities in Zhonggang Township, Wuxi County, Chongqing, almost every day my heart touched, and the biggest thing that touched me was the status of left-behind children in rural areas.

The left-behind children there occupy a considerable proportion of all children. These left-behind children are basically living with their grandparents or grandparents, and some are living with their uncles and aunts. Most of the parents All work in the field. The left-behind children in the local ministry also account for a large proportion of all left-behind children. They are scattered at home, and they are born in poverty-stricken mountainous areas, so they simply do not have access to formal pre-school education. Although preschool education does not belong to the state's compulsory education at this stage in China, children at this stage are in a very critical period in the formation of behavioral habits and intellectual development, and should be highly valued together.

I asked some local left-behind children. Most of the left-behind children are very eager to learn, and they are motivated. I hope that I can be admitted to a prestigious university in the future to contribute to the country. Some left-behind children just hope that they can live with their parents. A warm home, and a small part of it has no ideals and ambitions at all, and it is a loss to the future.

Most of the left-behind children have a difficult family economy. Parents are trying to create a good learning and living environment for their children to go out to work and earn money. But at the same time, because one or both parents are not around the children, the family manages the children. Insufficient care, inadequate care, and improper education have brought a series of problems to the feelings and psychology of left-behind children. Many parents of left-behind children work abroad for many years. In the past six months, one year, or even several years, it is difficult to make a phone call, write a letter, and meet once in a row to maintain family ties, connect ideas, listen to troubles, and encourage others. Advance, give your child enough care. Some parents did not meet with their children for many years, causing their children to forget the appearance of their parents, let alone their family. Some left-behind children often fail to attend school, skip school, lie, fight, bully classmates, etc. due to lack of effective restraint and education. Some left-behind children rarely speak, often they are alone in a daze, always feeling unhappy. Look like. Most of the left-behind children are poorly educated because of their own existing guardians. The methods of parenting children are very poor. Many children’s grandparents, grandparents and children and teachers lack the necessary communication, and even some grandparents, Grandparents don’t even know which grade, which class, or which is the class teacher. Therefore, I never care about my children's learning. The children themselves do not take their studies into their hearts. Therefore, many children's academic performances are very poor. Some even don't graduate from colleges and universities and give up their studies at home.

The left-behind children in rural areas are a very special social group in China at present. They are still the future of the motherland and the hope of the motherland. They need social attention to help them grow up healthily. Nowadays, the problem of left-behind children in rural areas has attracted the attention of the state and the government. They have taken relevant measures to solve the problem of left-behind children. The problem of left-behind children has improved somewhat to some extent. However, the problem of left-behind children is the result of a combination of factors such as school, family and society. It is far from enough to rely solely on family and government. We need to mobilize all sectors of society to pay attention to the healthy growth and development of left-behind children and form a good focus on left-behind children. The atmosphere, helping left-behind children and solving the problems of today's left-behind children can only accelerate the development of the national economy and ensure the country's rapid and steady progress.

Article 2: Experience in caring for left-behind children

Throughout the ages, parents have the most earnest expectation for their children to be "seeking children and becoming a dragon." However, for how to train and educate their children, every parent is often confused and does not know where to start. The development and education of children is related to their future life journey, and it is also the responsibility of parents.

Some parents in my class are subject to the constraints of their own economy. They are not allowed to take their children to live with them. They can only stay at home and be looked after by the elderly or relatives, resulting in de facto "single parent education" and "intergenerational education." The phenomenon of "foster education" is not uncommon, making students become left-behind children.

These left-behind children and their parents can't see each other for years, even in a few years. The long-term lack of parental love and maternal love in the long-term environment is remarkable. As for these left-behind children, the five major problems of lack of care in life, lack of behavior in teaching, lack of counseling in learning, lack of ideological and moral constraints, and lack of security guarantees have a profound impact on schools, families, and society. In order to better solve the problem of left-behind children, the left-behind children can study with peace of mind, and the parents of left-behind children work outside the peace of mind. In the work, I constantly reflect on myself and try to make myself not sacred to the sacred duty of acting parents. Now I will talk about my work:

1. Pay close attention to children and enhance emotional investment. The school is the second home of left-behind children, and the teachers are the “parents” they are fully responsible for. Schools and teachers pay close attention to the learning, life and thought changes of left-behind children. First, let the class teacher do the "love mother" of the left-behind children in the class, and let the children in the class stay in pairs.

2. Conduct study counseling, ideological education, and life services for left-behind children. If the child is ill, I immediately lead the student to the hospital for treatment. In the study, they care for them in a meticulous manner. What is more important is to always pay attention to the cultivation of his behavioral norms, so that they can always be praised by teachers and complete the small school with excellent results. Let's play together, play games, and understand their specific situation, so that they are close and trust the teacher. In this way, students are emotionally invested in emotions, so that they fully feel that "teacher love" is better than "mother love." In addition, we also organized class cadres to assist teachers in the dynamic tracking of left-behind children, and targeted the relevant assistance work. In this way, left-behind children feel that they have a psychological sense of belonging to the “big family” and make the left-behind children feel at ease. Living and learning, let left-behind children grow up healthy and happy in the days away from their parents, greatly enhancing the effectiveness of education.

3. Determine the cooperation between the guardian and the home school. Nowadays, most of the students are only children, and the family is spoiled. This brings certain difficulties to education. At present, there are so many left-behind children in the school, which inevitably adds a lot of trouble to teachers in education and teaching. As for these difficulties, we are very confused in the face of our teachers. It is also a challenge in the education work. The school conducts collective discussions and individual visits to the left-behind children, truly understands the family situation of the left-behind children, and then asks the parents of the left-behind children. In conjunction with the school to determine the child's guardian, the school establishes a class teacher, guardian contact card, so that schools, class teachers, guardians can communicate with each other at any time to keep abreast of the specific situation of left-behind children. At the same time, we will establish a “temporary guardian” for left-behind children – “love mother”, “parent” who is fully responsible, and “love classmates” among students, and play a synergistic role of “parental education” and school education for left-behind children. Carrying out joint management and keeping the home and school working together will never disappear, providing a shortcut to the management of children, ensuring the normal operation of left-behind children.

4, sound "left behind" files, easy to capture information. We understand and analyze the actual situation of left-behind children in terms of personality, interest, study, thought, psychology, character, etc., and establish a special file for each left-behind child. The file includes the student's family situation, parents' information, guardian's information, and manages these files.

5, to maintain a harmonious relationship, to fill the deep gully. The parents of the left-behind children have been working outside for a long time. Although they always remember the children at home, due to the busy work and the negligence of consciousness, they can't keep in touch with the children at any time, which causes the children's emotional and spiritual trauma to be extremely serious. The low-quality, poor mentality, and stubborn personality of the left-behind children are also in the air. Our teachers can't watch the tragedy of these left-behind children. They will try to feedback the situation to parents and ask parents to call and write. Keep in touch with your child at any time, and ask parents to communicate with their children on a regular basis. At the end of the period, each parent will send a “letter to parents” to let them know the direction of the school and the situation of their children. Many parents follow this method to play a positive role. Over time, they have harmonized their feelings, filled the deep gap between the father and the son, and strongly promoted the children's physical and mental development along the correct path.

Caring for the care of left-behind students is not only a matter of school, but also a common responsibility of the whole society. In short, creating a good educational environment for left-behind children is an indispensable responsibility and obligation of schools, families, and society. It is necessary to raise awareness and coordinate, and make active efforts to make left-behind children enjoy the same blue sky as all children. The same care, the quality education is implemented on every child.

Part 3: Caring for the feelings of left-behind children

In this hot July, I participated in the summer social practice activities of Huaihai Institute of Technology "Joining Hands, Sharing Growth" and Caring for Left-behind Children Volunteer Service Group in Guanyun County.

During the eight days from July 8th to July 15th, I followed the volunteer service group to send warmth and condolences to the left-behind children, and publicized the Shanghai World Expo knowledge and earthquake avoidance knowledge. Through quality development games, academic counseling, home phone newsletters, family sentiment, questionnaires, etc., they learned about their lives and learning, and at the same time increased their knowledge, broadened their horizons and respected their personality. The contact and communication with the children, and the rich and varied activities also allowed me to learn a lot of things that I couldn’t learn in the books, which made me understand more about the "final feelings on paper, knowing that this thing must be done" The meaning of poetry.

Summer social practice activities provide a great opportunity for college students to step out of the campus, set foot on the society, and show their own beauty. It is also an excellent opportunity for college students to join the society, experience life and serve the people. From the investigation activities of our left-behind children in this car, we learned that because they lack the care and guidance of their parents, they often miss their parents, so that some children form a lonely character, and they will feel a heartache. But as the saying goes, "The children of the poor are headed home early," the vast majority of them are still able to study hard in this situation. I struggle to dream and I am gratified and happy for them.

Through the social practice activities of caring for left-behind children, I gradually learned about the society, broadened my horizons and increased my talents. "The ears don't smell the window, and the one-hearted reading of the sages" is no longer suitable for the development trend of modern society. We should recognize our position in social practice activities and have an accurate positioning of ourselves. Only by truly understanding the meaning of social practice and acquiring knowledge and ability in social practice can we solve it and overcome it with the knowledge and ability that we have tested in practice when encountering setbacks and challenges in the future. Social practice has enabled college students to find the best combination of theory and practice, and those who only value theoretical study and neglect the practice link cannot have long-term development.
