Today, I am honored to be able to communicate with you on behalf of our High School class on community service.
Since the beginning of the first year of high school, my class has always adhered to community service activities, and the ups and downs of it have become a valuable asset in our social practice.
When Gao Yi just started school, we conducted the first community service activity. Under the leadership of the Communist Youth League, everyone used their spare time to come to the senior apartment in Heping District with great interest. Everyone is very happy when they think that they can give back to the society with meager strength. In order to let the grandfather and grandmother in the apartment enjoy the comfort of their old age, everyone worked very hard. Although the heat of the summer had not dissipated, everyone did not complain about the sweat, wipe the glass, wipe the table, sweep the floor, wipe the floor, water the flowers, although they are all simple work, but everyone is serious, to do Keep improving. Seeing the old people's living environment is completely new, a sense of accomplishment suddenly emerged from everyone's heart. Our performance was appreciated by the heads of the apartment and the old people. We also used the rest to talk with the old people, asking about the physical condition and living conditions of the elderly, and educating them about the excellent school spirit and the ever-changing developments. . In a pleasant atmosphere, we ended this social practice. With the afterglow of the setting sun, everyone set foot on the way home. When the evening wind gently stroked our cheeks, the warm feeling was still there. The heart is rippling.
After this time, we have continued this "habit". The group secretary has carried out further overall planning, divided everyone into several groups, selected each group leader, and ensured that each activity can achieve good results. Everyone's enthusiasm is gradually rising, sacrificing their spare time and conducting community service. Although some of my classmates live far away, they still insist on participating in activities and cherish this opportunity to exercise themselves.
Soon after, we moved to Tianjin Middle School in Huayuan to study. It took an hour to get back and forth by shuttle bus every day. Everyone was very hard, but it was such difficulties that did not extinguish our enthusiasm. We also contacted the Wenjingli Neighborhood Committee of the Racecourse Road, which was led by the Communist Youth League every week and used taxis to carry out community services. At that time, it was a cold winter. When the white garbage was rubbed, everyone's hands were frozen red, but no one called it tired. Our perseverance was praised by the director of the neighborhood committee. Although it was hard, everyone's heart was sweet.
This time and again, the community service activities have become the classroom for everyone to move into the society. It not only exercises our perseverance, but also cultivates our diligent and simple labor quality. More importantly, it gives us the love to give back to the society. We will continue to adhere to it and show the elegance of the young people in the new century with practical actions. We also hope that everyone will join us in carrying forward the glorious tradition of one and the other and jointly contributing more love to the society.
