College student metalworking internship report

We conducted a 10-day metalworking internship at the school school workshop in XX.1.2-XX.1.11. During the period, we were exposed to several types of work such as car, clamp, milling, grinding, welding, casting, forging and planing, as well as more advanced machines such as linear cutting and CNC milling machines. Every day, everyone has to learn a new skill and complete the process of making a finished product from the ignorance of each type of work in a few hours of internship. Under the patience and meticulous teaching of the masters, and with our active cooperation, I thoroughly understood that practice is the standard for truly testing the truth. The vernier caliper readings I have learned before are very vague and the error requirements are high, so I still feel that I can't afford it, but the internship requires that the error of the workpiece is 0.1mm, which makes me unprepared. Under the guidance of the teacher, I have basically mastered the reading of the vernier caliper through this internship. Things that seem simple are really not as simple as they are applied.

During the internship, I learned to work as a mechanic and a blacksmith. We have made our own handicrafts, milling and lathe internships. Everyone can learn the most fundamental knowledge of milling machines according to the teacher's requirements. The hardest is the number of lathes and fitters. The mechanics are the most dangerous. The students must first master the essentials of driving the lathe. Among all the types of work, the fitter is the most labor-intensive. Through the tools such as boring tools and hacksaws, an iron block is manually ground into a hex nut, and then through the steps of punching and tapping. A beautiful nut. 1. Through this internship, we learned about the production methods and processes of the modern machinery manufacturing industry. Familiar with the main forming methods and main mechanical processing methods of engineering materials and the working principle and typical structure of the main equipment used, the use of measuring clamps and safe operation technology.
