Summer tutor practice report


Because now I am studying in a normal college, so I usually pay more attention to the cultivation of teachers. In order to let myself have a full holiday and exercise myself in practice, I found a job in the middle school through my friend's introduction. When I got this job, I felt a sense of excitement in my heart, because I got an opportunity to exercise my own ability while embodying my own value. Through the interview, I got the approval of the parents, so my summer vacation. Life has added a beautiful scenery.

I. Communication with parents

By understanding, the child's parents work in the post office, usually do not care too much about the child's learning, and now the child is already in the third day, facing the severe situation of the senior high school entrance examination. For the children's learning problems, the parents personally traveled to various mediations, colleges and universities to choose the right tutor for the children, then I feel how lucky I am to be a responsible parent, I am determined in my heart, to help children learn with all their strength. And assure parents that they will pay attention to this job and do their best to get the job done. My student is a girl, the little name is Nan. In conversations with parents, I learned that children are tired of learning, lazy to learn, and greedy to play. For many of the above reasons, her grades are only average in the class. Parents have great expectations for her and hope that she will be admitted to the key high school and will come to the university for further study. I can feel the kind of eager expectation and eagerness of my parents in the minds of the parents. They look far and far, and everything they do is for the future of the child. They are very selfless and even blame themselves for not educating their children. I was deeply touched by my parents' feelings about my children, and felt that the burden on my shoulders was heavy.

2. Communication with children

The student I brought is a junior girl, a boyish temper, a childish face, always with a trace of tireless fatigue, and now all the rebellious after the 1990s. I have also experienced such an indulgent age, so I can also know that the current child does not understand the parents' intentions. On the first day I went, the child was quarreling with my parents. When I brought the child with tears in my eyes into her hut and looked at her grievances, my heart was sad. In fact, the first time I saw her, I did not regard her as my student, but as a younger sister. So, I decided to give her an ideological education class first. Standing on her position, I analyzed her current psychological problems and the situation she faced. I told her about some of my personal experiences and feelings at that time. When I saw my sincerity, she also revealed some of my own thoughts. She said that parents always put pressure on her. If they do not do well, they will not fight. Oh, she learned to collide and rebel. In fact, I understand that such a strong-looking child always has a fragile heart. She is just using a face that does not care to disguise her inner sadness. I encourage her to say that she is a smart girl and that she is not bad at learning. As long as she is careful, she will improve her academic performance. After listening to my long story, she nodded and we all smiled. From then on, we became friends in the true sense.

three. Family life

Both children and parents have proposed to focus on essays and history, so I have made a lot of preparations in these two areas. On the first day of the formal class, I asked her to take out the paper she had done before. She was very sloppy in her language, and she knew that she was very casual in her study. She was not strict with her own requirements. The mistakes were not marked. She said that she did not want to answer the papers and did not listen well to class. I told her about the importance of neatness and helped her correct the mistake. By analyzing her language, I found that she had a very good idea in answering the questions, but the attitude of answering the questions was not correct and she felt a little bit coping. However, her thinking is very clear and there is a problem with the attitude of the exam. The composition of this exam is based on the theme of running water. She wrote a fable of a stream and a waterfall, telling the truth of the dripping stone, the language is smooth, and the narrative is very vivid. From this, she is a child with quick thinking and unique ideas. If she carefully examines the questions and carefully answers, I believe she will have a very good result. I told her all my thoughts and ideas. She nodded and agreed. I also began to realize that the first priority now is not to give lectures, but to help her correct her attitude. Since then, I have often given her a similar course, from time to time to talk to her to learn the experience. Her class status has changed a lot, and I am also very happy with it.

As for the counseling of the composition, although I have a limited standard, I still know some about the exams for the students in the middle school. I usually write some things myself. I show her articles to her, tell her the thoughts of my thoughts, and the clues of writing, and sometimes explain some examples to tell her how to get a problem. What kind of concept should be established for the entry point. For the choice of stylistics, the use of language, and the beginning and the end, I have given her an example in each course, and I have penetrated some of the knowledge I have learned in college, such as obstructive language and defamiliarization. And so on. Sometimes I also impromptu a small topic to ask her how to write, she often tells me her thoughts very well, sometimes I am very surprised, I am also very happy to see her open the way, Active thinking.

In the history of teaching, because Nan's foundation is not good, the clues of books have not been clarified, so I started from the textbook, let her understand the content as a whole, and then explain according to the class, grasp the key points from the details. Because she is a course she has studied, she is not unfamiliar with what she said during class, and she can answer the questions she raised. In the explanation of major historical events, I also told some of my little stories and anecdotes to her in order to raise her interest and not to resent the boring written knowledge. But during the lecture, I found that when I talked about some extracurricular stories, the children liked to listen, and when I had the textbook knowledge, she didn't pay much attention to it. So I was looking for a problem from myself. It was probably unattractive when I was explaining it. So I changed my way of explaining and tone, and set a suspense for her with a story-telling method, which made her interested in textbook knowledge.

There are only two hours of classes per day, and there is a break in the middle. During this time, she will talk to me about some extracurricular topics, including non-mainstream, popular songs, and some of the things she writes. I have listened carefully to the topic she said, from which I can learn more about the child's psychology. I analyzed the phenomenon of these popular cultures with her, discussed the development trend and the reasons why it was popular. From this, I found her insights to be unique, and I can have more explanations under my guidance. Through these exchanges, I told her that it is more comprehensive in considering which aspects to analyze a thing. These ideas are very useful in the writing of the article. Some of the diary essays written by Nan himself will be shown to me. There is a kind of sadness in her writing. This style is very similar to me, but I don’t advocate her writing such a text because she is still a country. Health, there should be no such thoughts. It is more important for her to take the test. This kind of text is not suitable. But as a friend, I also told her about my thoughts and modified her words for her. She is also very happy.

Because I have to do tutoring every morning, this forced me to change my habit of sleeping late during the holidays. Get up on time every morning, go to class, there will always be a feeling of fullness after returning home. In a blink of an eye, she is about to start school. I also ended my 20-day tutor life. Her learning attitude is much more positive than the front end. Learning also knows how to do it. The previous problems have been basically solved and the writing level has been greatly improved. Her parents are very grateful to me for helping her during this time and seeing her. I am very pleased with the progress. As a friend, she always called me a sister. When we left, we hugged. At that time, I felt that I was not hugging my students, but my sister. These days, I put a lot of energy into the arrangement of the course content, and the child's progress is my greatest joy.

Through the summer life of this tutor, I got a lot of feelings. First of all, let me practice the profession of teachers, and exercise my ability to express, communicate and vocational skills. These gains will affect my future study life and have a positive impact on future work. I believe that the gains in these practices are not learned in the classroom, and will make me live for a lifetime!
